Hi, I am Jen! The majority of my career has been spent in the legal field. My career change has been a great transition, especially because of the patients! I enjoy speaking with, and meeting, each and every one of you. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons, driving my Jeep (mostly in four wheel drive on the beach, in the woods, or on rocks) and running.
Overcrowding, which is one of the most common alignment issues that orthodontists treat. When there is not enough room in the jaw for the teeth that must come in, orthodontists can make room by carefully repositioning teeth. Aesthetic Issues that often arise due to the poor alignment of teeth and the jaw.
Less Obvious: Many people hesitate getting braces because they find them to be embarrassing. However, ceramic braces can be matched to the natural color of your teeth, making them less noticeable. Very Durable: People think that since these braces are made of ceramic, they may not be able to last them the entire treatment period, and they will have to pay the expense of getting them replaced.
According to the American Association of Orthodontists, braces are typically placed on children between the ages of 9 and 14. Once the braces are placed, they may stay on anywhere between 6 and 30 months. This time-frame will vary from patient to patient. It is necessary to brush your teeth at least three times a day if you have braces, flossing daily.

Amazing office and extremely friendly staff! Jen answered my initial call to Dr. James' office and her warm and congenial personality made me feel comfortable from the very start. She was patient with all of our questions and worked with us to transition easily from a previous orthodontist. Once we came in, we met with Dr. James and Jordan who gave us several options for our unique dental situation in a pressure free environment. Jordan was especially helpful in guiding both me and my daughter to the treatment plan that worked best for us. Office is clean, modern and pleasant to visit. My daughter loved the ceramic braces option!

Our experience with Dr. Amy James, and the entire staff has been amazing since day one. Everyone is friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating. Such a great ortho office! I started working with Dr. James a little over 2 years ago and she was incredible. I had lots of things to consider when deciding on getting ortho services and she walked me through each step and answered all my questions along the way. She worked with my dentist and periodontists to make sure my treatment plan was solid across the board.
I also loved working with Jordan and Katie. The whole staff is so kind and friendly and they really know what they're talking about. I can't recommend this practice enough. At the end of my treatment my teeth looked AMAZING. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with!

I had the most enjoyable experience at Dr. Amy James & Associates office. I opted for ceramic braces, primarily because of my profession and I was elated with the overall appearance. I must admit, I'm overwhelmed with my "NEW" smile, I love it! The removal of my braces was easygoing and the personal celebration in the office was beyond thoughtful!

My daughter had a consult with Dr Amy James. We were very impressed, not just with her, but her staff and office too. Jordan the intake director was very friendly and super organized. The office itself is gorgeous, we love the design. Dr. James was incredibly thorough and and definitely an expert in her field. We highly recommend this practice.
