I want to preface this with the fact that I have an extreme fear of the dentist. So much so I avoid going for years. I went into my appointment expecting the usual, but what I received was so much more. I can not rave about Dr Farmer, and his assistant Veronica enough. They were so kind, patient and actually really funny. They took time to explain everything and to offer a treatment plan that worked around my phobia.

I have never in my 48 years left a dentist feeling confident about my next appointment. If you are looking for a dentist look no further. Everyone in the office is wonderful. If I could give them 20 stars I would.

Such a friendly, homey environment with up-to-the minute dental care. Both my husband and I have had recent work done by the newest doctor, Austin Farmer. He is fantastic. He goes the extra mile.

A visit to the dentist isn't what you'd consider a good time so when your experience is a pleasant one, that's always a plus. The dentists, Dr. Farmer and Dr. Slaughter, and their staff are very accommodating, putting their patients at ease and keeping them informed about each step as they proceed through their work. I was thrilled to find a dentist in Dallas with whom I was comfortable, after a very long time relationship with my dental office in Riverside California. Jessika is a thorough and knowledgeable hygienist with encouraging suggestions toward dental health. Because of my experience from reception to departure at Lakewood I highly recommend them if you're new to the area or if you're looking for new dental care.

If you've been wandering this earth looking for your long-term dental office, this is your place. I too was walking around with no set dentist in my life. Lakewood Family Dental is my place now. Dr. Farmer is the sweetest and non-judgy dentist I've ever met. His team is great to work with and are so gracious when scheduling appointments. They understand I'm a busy lady and sometimes I have to reschedule and they work with me *sans le attitude*.

In addition, they have early appointments to help you get in an out quickly. Veronica is a sweetheart and makes me feel comfortable each time I'm there. If you're a vintage fan, visit their office, it's very Dilbeck-esque and has some cool retro architecture.

Dr. Slaughter at Lakewood Family Dental is the best dentist. I've been a patient at his practice for the several years now. He is very thorough and polite. His staff is also very friendly. Not all dentists and doctors are equal and Dr. Slaughter is fantastic!

This is the best Dental Office I have ever been to. The Staff is very friendly and listens to your every concern. If you have an Emergency they will get you in that day. No problem getting your appt. scheduled. No long waiting room time. You get called in on or right before your appointment time. Dr. Slaughter is very professional and is honest with your dental condition. He is very friendly and looks you in the eye when talking to you. You will love this place and look no more for Dental Services.

Really enjoyed my first visit with my new team at Lakewood Family Dentists. Jessica was my hygienist and did a thorough job which also was very comfortable. Dr. Farmer was professional, friendly and had a comforting manner. I will be returning in 6 months for my regular cleaning and check up.

I absolutely love my dentist and staff. Everything is explained in detail before anything is done and all of my questions were answered. Everyone is very personable so it's practically like visiting family and getting dental work done at the same time. The bonus - you can choose whatever music you would like while there! Who does that!

Great experience, wonderful service and lovely people-ESPECIALLY Angie and Sheana at the front desk. My teeth have never looked better and I can't wait to come back.which is something I rarely say about my dentist. High quality free water, as well. Only critique is adults need a prize after getting their teeth cleaned too. How can we make this happen?

I had a minor dental emergency and they were able to get me in within 24 hours. Dr Reid and Norma handles my issue as they always do, perfectly. Best dentist in town!

I'm new to Dallas and I love Lakewood Dental! My first visit was a bad tooth, and they worked me in right away. They are friendly, extremely helpful, and took very good care of me. I appreciate them!

I broke one of my front teeth at about 1:30 PM yesterday afternoon. I immediately called Dr. Slaughter's office. Angie in the front office checked w/ Dr. S to see if they could squeeze me in to their already full schedule. They were able to fit me in at 4 PM yesterday. I know this meant that both Dr. S and his assistant Norma would then have to stay late to finish their day.

By 5 PM I had the broken tooth restored and my smile back. I can not see any evidence of where the tooth was broke. I have been going to Dr. S for dental care for the last 10 years. He is awesome and so is his staff. Highly recommended.

This was my first time visiting Lakewood Family Dental Care and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Cathy did my routine x-rays and cleaning - she was thorough yet efficient and gentle throughout the process and it was pain free! I got a clean bill of health from the dentist, Dr. Farmer (no relation), and he was very friendly and knowledgeable as well! The facility is clean and stylish. Highly recommend to all my friends and family.
