A Complete Denture is placed in the patient's mouth after all the teeth have been extracted and the gum tissue has healed. Healing takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending upon the patient. An Overdenture usually requires that at least 2 roots be kept. These roots may be used to hold the denture in place by placing inserts in the roots and in the denture. The denture then attaches to the roots. These roots also give support to the denture and help retain the ridge the denture sits on.

Dr. Daniel Scott and the entire staff are very kind and courteous. The facility is clean and comfortable and they make you feel welcome and safe. Dr. Scott has performed three procedures for me. I recently had an examination and a cleaning. I have never had any discomfort at Cedar Creek Smiles. Love this dentist. Keep up the good work.

Everyone was scurrying around like they were losing a race, my medical info from the first visit I gave wasn't entered in so the dentist said as he rejected me getting my procedure done on my second visit. I am on disability for epilepsy. I had a small sezure while trying to answer questions. The rude dentist repeatedly opened my eyelid looking in my eye and suggesting I was on something saying I was to calm to be there to have teeth removed and seemed sedated.
When I could I explaned my medical situation again and he said he didn't know or see any of that in my file as he continued to suggest I was on something other than my meds for epilepsy. Then he said he didn't know I was medically comprised and said he was referring me to another dentist. This after waiting for him to try and remember his password to get in his computer.
I felt uncomfortable the whole visit thinking of having teeth removed by people seeming to be scatter brained running a race. Then to have this level of unprofessional and rude actions and comments made, I will be letting my family who have used this guy know too.

I actually look forward going to my appointments. My teeth are cleaned every 3 months by Laura, who is always so gentle & concerned if you have any pain, they don't want you to experience any pain. Very gentle in all areas, even when Dr. Scott had to pull some teeth, I never felt any pain, which is very comforting. I totally recommend Dr. Loar & associates. They are there for you. Even the staff are great. Thank you for the great care all of you give to the patients.

I recently had crowns on all my top front teeth by Dr. Loar. I am over the top impressed with the entire procedure! Upon my first visit, I felt at ease by the level of professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness, and knowledge that was exuded by Dr. Loar and his staff. My initial fear melted away. During the procedures I felt little discomfort or pain.
Within two hours of having my temporaries installed, I was smiling and taking selfies. Now, 3 weeks later, I have all my crowns. I can't quit smiling! No pain, no swelling, AND they look and feel amazing! Thank you Dr. Loar, Cindy, and your entire staff! If anyone is wondering. I highly recommend Cedar Creek Smiles!

Love these people. They are gentle and very caring. They always make you feel very welcomed to their place. Dr. Loar (and Dr. Scott) has been our dentist for many years and we can't even imagine using anyone else. If you are looking for a good dentist, I highly recommend Cedar Creek Smiles. Great place to go cause it's full of Great people. Glad I chose them for my teeth maintenance. Dr Loar did a great jog setting two back upper teeth on implants and they work great. Awesome job!
