Frank L. Ikuta is a highly trained, well-respected dentist with over 30 years of experience. In this biography, we'll explore the diverse background that has shaped his professional career to date. Immediately following high school graduation, Frank began his education in 1980. Through in-office consulting, lectures and workshops, their teaching was initially important in establishing proper business systems and structure. This structure later proved to be foundational and many of the principles still remain today.
Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings. Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable and are easy to apply.
Sometimes a bit more work is needed to give you the smile you want. If you are missing teeth, having trouble speaking or chewing, and noticing strain when biting, bridges may be the ideal procedure to help make your mouth healthy and beautiful again. Bridges, sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures, literally bridge gaps between teeth by filling them with strong, natural-looking artificial teeth.
Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to more than just an unsightly smile-it can cause loss of teeth and, eventually, if left untreated, serious health problems. I've been going to Dr. Ikuta for years, and up until recently had never had a problem. I ran into a situation where my insurance refused to pay for a procedure that had already been performed. I was told by my insurance company that the dentist's office would have to request an appeal before I would be able to request one myself. Dr. Ikuta refused to help.
They were more than content to stick me with a second $1500 bill after I'd already paid $1500 for the treatment, rather than pick up the phone and help their patient with the insurance company. Then to top things off, once I took my kids to another dentist, they found significantly more problems that needed to be addressed that were either missed or overlooked at Ikuta's office. I'm honestly very sad at how I and my family were treated by someone that I trusted. I will never go back, and I recommend not going to this office.

Going to the Dentist has always frightened me until recently, Dr. Ikuta and his staff are amazing. Dr. Ikuta knew that I was nervous for my fillings and crown and was very comforting and made sure he did everything so that I wouldn't feel anything. He did an amazing job, I didn't feel anything during my procedure and I didn't experience any discomfort after which means he did the job right.

Dr. Ikuta and his team provide the best dental experience I've ever had. They are so personal, helpful, and kind. Dr. Ikuta and Dr. Van Hoff also have above-and-beyond technical skills making all cleanings and repairs efficient, comfortable, and affordable. Though I've moved out of town, I still travel back to see Dr. Ikuta's office for my dental needs because I simply can't imagine a better dental experience anywhere. **Highly Recommend!**
