First time patient here. Super friendly, efficient and professional. Best appointed and comfortable doctor's office I have ever been in.

Big, big, BIG MAHALOS to everyone at Dr. Yokoyama's office! After 40 years of avoiding dental appointments. my dad, 82 years old, just LOVES his new smile! Over the last few months, he has been in for a series of extractions and getting fitted for dentures. From our very first appointment, Heather was extremely helpful about explaining all of the different procedures, timelines and costs. and my dad just loves talking story, with EVERYONE down there.

I never would have imagined going to the dentist could be such a nice experience for him. We are both sincerely grateful for everyone's professionalism. and more than anything. everyone there, just being SO NICE! I recommend this office, 100%. Aloha!

I feel fortunate to be a patient in Dr Yokoyama's practice. His beautiful office is equipped with the very latest that dental technologies offer. Equally important, Dr Yokoyama is a skillful caring dentist who has assembled a professional and personable staff from front office personnel to assistants and hygienists. Whenever I have an appointment I know that I will be seen promptly and be cared for by a competent dental team.

As a retired dentist, I have high expectations when considering my dental care. I know how challenging and expensive it is to set and maintain high standards. I say with confidence and from experience that Dr Yokoyama's practice is comparable to the best practices available on the mainland.

Dr. Yokoyama was wonderful and very professional and thorough-as was Joyce and Tiffany and the lovely folks at the front desk. Hi, my teeth cleaning experience was good with Joyce. Her work seemed to be very thorough and my teeth looks good after the cleaning. Joy is a definite asset to your dental office.

Dr. Yokoyama is an awesome dentist. He takes his time and explains everything in detail. Instead of putting veneers on my teeth to address my concerns, he recommended that I see an orthodontist to supplement what he will do so that my dental needs and desires are met in the most non invasive way possible. The dental hygienist was also very thorough and professional.

They are always on time and consistent. They do not take certain insurances so your bill is submitted to your insurance and you receive a refund directly from your insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Yokoyama and his business.

Dr. Yokoyama and his staff are amazing. They are so caring and gentle as well. I get anxiety anytime I need dental work. He is very patient and understanding and has always given me breaks if needed. I cannot recommend him enough. The staff is personable, the views are gorgeous and the office is very clean and comfortable.

The people there are all kind and good at what the do. My Hygienist Is very considerate of my sensitive teeth and I feel well cared for.

I'm a Covid transplant from Michigan spending winters on the island until last year so I did an online search and was pleasantly surprised with smiles by Dr Yokoyama. The staff is very pleasant and caring with very individualized treatment. Dr The doctor was was kind soft spoken and very knowledgeable. I felt like family on the first visit. I love this wonderful dental team! No unnecessary procedures (ie: old fillings that are still good) & I had an emergency procedure for a broken tooth, where the temp fix lasted for over a year, before I could fix it! The BEST!

Dr Yokoyama and his entire staff were very friendly and accommodating! I am terrified of dentists and they went out of their way to make me comfortable. They also took me in on very short notice as I am going on vacation in a week and need to have my teeth working properly so I can eat! Love this dentist and his crew!

Dr. Yokoyama was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I found him. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. He doesn't take insurance but don't let that stop you from seeing him. You pay out of pocket but they bill your insurance for you so you get reimbursed. My claim was sent in before I even left the office! Highly recommend him!

Although my regular hygienist was out that day, I was offered the opportunity to proceed with another hygienist. I was most pleased with Anna's professionalism, gentle hand, and thoroughness. She took the time to answer my questions and guide me through some steps toward more effective oral self care. Thank you!

Doctor Yokoyama and his staff are the kindest and professional dentist office i ever been to on the Big Island. They allways work to my schedule and provide the best dental care to me when it comes to my cleanings or dental problems. This is the only dental office i go to. The Aloha given to me has made me become more attentive to my mouth and diligent to keep up my dental hygiene.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Yokoyama and his staff. They took me in to re-cement a crown while my regular dentist was out of town. They made me feel right at home and took care of things perfectly,

Dr Yokohama and his staff are very thorough and put your overall health first. The only thing that can be a Challenge is getting an appointment but again that's a good thing Dr Yokohama and his practice are in high demand
