Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. By the age of 18, the average adult has 32 teeth; 16 teeth on the top and 16 teeth on the bottom. Each tooth in the mouth has a specific name and function. The teeth in the front of the mouth (incisors, canine, and bicuspid teeth) are ideal for grasping and biting food into smaller pieces. The back teeth (molar teeth) are used to grind food up into a consistency suitable for swallowing.

Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Orthognathic surgery is needed when jaws don't meet correctly and/or teeth don't seem to fit with jaws. Teeth are straightened with orthodontics and corrective jaw surgery repositions a misaligned jaw.
Teeth-In-A-Day is an option for patients who need numerous teeth replaced, or even a whole upper or lower set of teeth. The procedure is a relatively new technique in dentistry and allows patients to receive an entire arch of prosthetic teeth in a single appointment with a surgeon. By using typically just 4 to 6 dental implants instead of one implant per tooth, the procedure is minimally invasive and can replace an entire set of teeth without the need for repeat surgical visits. If you are tired of wearing your denture or if your denture is loose and ill-fitting, a Teeth-In-A-Day procedure will help you get rid of your denture and provide you with permanent, naturally looking teeth.
Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.

Dr. Alcorn and his staff were wonderful. The two ladies that set me up with the IV and oxygen were so kind and so gentle. I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist and I had been dreading going in for my extractions and they immediately set me at ease and explained everything they were doing. I unfortunately don't remember their names, but I really wish they knew just how much that extra bit of kindness helped me. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today. I absolutely recommend First State Oral a d Maxillofacial to EVERYONE

Voted worst front desk and billing staff worldwide. I don't know where this employer goes to find these Non-customer Service qualified people, but it is a real disservice to the 5-star doctors who work here. God forbid you ask a simple question. I found them to be very defensive and highly offensive. It takes months to get in- It's just not worth it.

The front desk staff is so nasty and rude. I am dealing with a severe wisdom tooth infection and was told "I should get established with a dentist if I want them out". I do have a dentist and they referred me to this place. The customer service was my breaking point after being in pain for days and having no sleep.

I had all four wisdom teeth extracted a week ago by Dr. Alcorn and he did an amazing job! I recovered quickly and with ease. Also, the ladies who helped situate me before the procedure were very calming, charismatic and professional. I was very nervous to have this procedure done but it really is not as bad as I made it out to be. This team of professionals really helped put my mind at ease and I had a very successful surgery. I will definitely recommend this place to others!

Waited two months for appt. Referred by a doctor to oral surgeon so that's what I did. They said need paperwork before appointment so I complied they called me to make the appointment, waited months drove an hour lost 1/2 day work, they took all my personal information only to be told they won't see me. Would have been nice to know before I drove down lost time, gave my personal information. Not very professional choose another office trust me.

I've had major procedures done while awake. Dr. Alcorn does a great job numbing the pain & waiting the proper amount of time for it to kick in. He also listens to questions & concerns. I wish he was my regular dentist, as he seems to be the most competent in his field. He's awesome! The supporting staff is great as well.

The worse dentist office I have ever been too. I was in a whole lot of pain & unfortunately after receiving an emergency appointment my car broke down so I wasn't able to make my appointment. However I called to reschedule the appointment, and I could r get an emergency an appointment and I had to get an a appointment a month out after waiting months for an appointment.
I asked for a supervisor several times and they kept transferring me to other offices! I am still in pain and nothing is being taking into consideration! On top of that my consultation was horrible, one of the assistance asked me "to take my hair off " so they could get a proper X-ray, I'm a black women with a lot of hair & a white professional assistant asking me to remove my hair? Wow!
How could u assume that my hair was even fake? How dare you even ask ME TO DO SUCH A THING. Very unprofessional and I'd never go here if it was the last place on earth! I can't even believe they took over dr mullens office! I'm disgusted!
