Dr. Carla La lande Was so unprofessional. The experience I had today was absolutely horrifying and disturbing what I have encountered with my daughter. I have filed a complaint with Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners due to how she conducted herself today.

I'm so happy my neighbor told us about this place. Front and back office are all amazing! They are all so nice. Dr. Wills is very personable and a great dentist!

I never and I mean never write a review. But, I am a father who went to this dentistry with my wife and daughter. The staff was polite and kind as you could be at 8:35 am, I guess. One assistant was Great! But the dentist Carla La Lande, was rude, self servicing, short-tempered and overall cantankerous. Her bed-side manners were very unprofessional at best.

I think her dental/professional disposition would be better served working at Nellis Airforce Base with soldiers instead of with any children or communicating with their guardians at all. -Love is Everything.

Ok I would like to point out that I felt safe for me and my family because I seen all around above cleaning and sanitizing and even having everyone mouth wash " what a good idea very good job keeping us and you safe. Second is the lady by the door I didn't catch her name but she takes and makes appointments the older one " she needs to be more patient and more compassionate and have more training on engaging with children she's very firm and made me feel uncomfortable and made me put my guard up.

Also I understand you guys are busy but don't forget to keep winning hearts " be 100% with children and extra understanding and listen to their little stories that they have " and us parents know when to tell our children that's enough but" I don't see enough for children in there" as far as engaging. Also my kids cried because you guys don't give out any stickers "?

Or anything to give a thanks" for choosing you " to be our dental doctor. Children need the extra care " and attention right now because there little life's have been interrupted by this covid-19 disaster!. All I ask is give the kids stickers for being brave or anything that you choose. Thank you

I have been taking both my kids here for the past 7 years and they are always prompt, kind and gentle with them. They have movies playing in the waiting room to keep the them occupied. They have the latest kids movies playing in the exam rooms so the kids can watch while being examined which keeps them preoccupied and more relaxed. The only bummer is that they don't give out stickers anymore and my kids miss that treat when the leave but overall I would absolutely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

We've been coming here for a couple of years now and just recently we had DR. HICKS whose absolutely amazing and is my favorite. I will only book my appointments with her from now on.

I'm so glad I found this children's dentist. They are very clean, professional, and welcoming ever time we visit. My kids are always put at ease by the team of dental assistants and the main doctor is amazing! She's kind, patient, and always explains the importance of oral hygiene to my kids. The entrance way is super cute, decorated with a jungle like theme and they are always playing a cool kids movie as we wait. I'd recommend this location to all my friends and family with kids.

We've been going here since my son was 4 and he is now 9. The staff are so wonderful and engage so much with children to make them feel comfortable and want to come back to the dentist. Very quick and efficient! I would highly recommend.

This place is awesome! They took care of my child. She had two teeth extracted and they were so gentle! I asked my child if she wanted to go back and she actually said yes. She's 6. Normally that doesn't happen. That alone should tell you how careful and considerate they are of your children. Should the occasion arise again, I'll be taking my children there.

Although a bit pricey, they let me do 2 payments for my son's procedure. My 6 year old was very comfortable and we loved how cared for he was with the staff (he had an extraction, cap, and 2 fillings). We already have his 2nd appointment scheduled!

They do a great job of making it fun and not scary for the kids to go to the dentist. Our three boys love the different themed rooms. Dr. Thompson pays close attention to problem areas and helps the kids and parents develop good brushing and flossing habits. Exactly what you would hope for from a pediatric dentist.

My son has been going to the dentist here for 5 years! They have been nothing short of amazing to us the entire time. Always on point from exams to cleanings and referrals. I appreciate the staff and the way they care for our children's beautiful smiles both mentally and physically. Honestly, I hit the jackpot on the first spin here. We've been winning ever since!

My grandson loves this place. From the time you walk into the office you feel welcomed. The Dental hygienist and Dentist are very professional, and caring.

Updating. Dental assistants really need to stop rolling their eyes. Parents need to be able to be with each child during the visit. Don't schedule all 3 at the same time and i have no choice but to go with my baby leaving the other 2 unattended with girls that had a bad day, or hate their job in general. Yes I feel your vibe. Cancellation policy is so strict.

God forbid you get stuck at work. They don't reschedule on same day and if you cancel you are banned lol soooo. yeah there's that. New dentist for my kids. The lady that checked us in was super nice. The dental assistant Trisha was more than excellent! & Dr Zarkash was nice and explained everything. Only issue was the checkout the girl was irritated cause they were behind and was helping me with frustration. and another girl was standing behind her for who knows what reason. Figures it out in the end. Hopefully procedures with dental plan run smooth

Reading the reviews I am quite shocked at the lower ratings. My son has been going to Children's Dental Care & Ortho since the beginning of this year. Let me first make note that my son has ADHD, social anxiety, and sensory disorder. Depending on a noisy environment his mood can change rapidly and he can become angry/scared. His first appointment was with Dr. Lalande for his cleaning and xrays.

We discovered that it is time for his fused tooth to come out so that the adult tooth can come in. Dr. Lalande sat down with me answered all my questions and concerns. Due to finances I had to wait to get his procedure done. In September we arrived at the office for his procedure. He was unable to eat since midnight prior. I was so worried he wouldn't be able to hand it, but he was a champ.

There was confusion as I thought Dr. Lalande would be doing the procedure. I should have asked when scheduling the appointment. Dr. Zarkesh (Dr. Z) ended up doing his extraction and she was amazing! She was so gentle and kind with my son. Her assistant was fabulous holding his hand and talking to him the whole time. With their professionalism they were able to care for my son and get him out quick! I have never had any problems with the staff. This is definitely a place I would recommend to other parents.

Both of my children have cavities and one even has an abscess at the young age of 5. The staff at this dental office was very helpful and informative with proper hygiene/cleaning procedures for my children. They were very clear and direct with their communication on what needs to be done procedural wise and at home care. They were very patient and helpful with my children as well.

Today my 5 year old had some work done, including the extraction of the tooth with an abscess.
"Bree" was the assistant who helped Dr. LaLande with today's procedures. The process was quick and painless, they were all pleasant and patient with my daughter. I would recommend this dental practice to anybody.

Children's Dental Care has been great for us over the years. Carla is great and has always taken time to answer any questions we may have. The office is great to take all 3 of my children at one time. We are in and out of the office very quickly. The hygienist are always friendly. The waiting room has games and movies to entertain while waiting, even though the wait is not very long. My kids just love that they can watch a movie while getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Lalande and staff have been my children's primary dental care providers for 4 years now,and for good reason, They are the BEST! The office and rooms are super clean, the staff is punctual and friendly.My kids love the waiting area. For the most part their check ups have been pretty routine but we have had to get a surgical extraction done on my sons upper baby teeth (he had an extra tooth) Dr. lalande always kept an eye on the direction it was growing and eventually we had to get a referral to a surgeon, all that went very smoothly. Overall My kids always enjoy their dental checkups and that's the best thing for me

This is the nicest place you could ever bring a child. So kind and child centric. For a first time visit I was impressed by the use of technology and the patience for the children. Highly recommend it to any parent of a small child or even older ones. They have computers the kids can use and TV with movies. Very happy I found them. Be warned they have a strict no show policy.

We love it here! We were referred to Dr. LaLande by another dentist when my son (2 at the time) had an injury. She is absolutely wonderful! They are always on time, friendly and professional. They make the kids feel very comfortable before beginning anything. One of my boys has a special need, and they have always been very patient with him. All three of my kids like going for their cleanings (which have always been able to be scheduled at the same time). It's a bit of a drive from our house, but the great service makes it worth it!

Love this place not only do I but the children do too. They sometime forget that we are visiting the dentist once they arrive. This place is very welcoming very clean environment the wait isn't that long and every face greets you with a smile. Great service

My kids have been going to Children's Dental Care for 15 years. All of the staff are great from the front desk, to the teeth cleaners, to the appointment makers. Dr. Carla LaLande is great also. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and fully explains what is going on with my children and their dental care. We will miss going to them, when my kids are too 'big' to go.

I took my 2 sons in today for cleaning and check up, beautiful&clean office, friendly staff, dentist was very thorough, friendly and answered all my questions, wait time was minimal, over all a wonderfull experience. I would give them 10 stars if i could.

My visit with my sister was Good. Everyone was friendly and worked attentively. Upon arrival 1:15 there was no one at the front dest, which was fine until it was 1:39 and I had a 1:30 appointment. When a nice nurse finally came out she went right to work and was able to help me update my sisters file with new information. I want to say my sister was called back within 5 minutes.

She was only there for a cleaning, which went by smoothly. The only thing I did not appreciate is the fact the Dentist, or nurse didn't direct me that there was a small cavity forming. They told my sister to let her know about brushing her teeth extra good, but didn't let me know. As her care taker, I would have liked a review from the dentist or nurse to me instead of my sister.

I feel like its important to have a relationship with your doctors and let the parents/gaurdians know whats going on. If I would have known at the dentist office I would have set an appointment to get it fixed.

Fantastic dentist! The staff is friendly. The dentist and assistants are attentive, gentle, and thorough. The office is clean and the waiting room has a big interactive floor video game for their little patients as well as two TVs (one playing a children's movie and the other more adult programming such as HGTV or Food Network)... perfect for kids and their caretakers to pass the time while waiting!

Wait times have never been too long with our appointments. Also I feel this dental practice is very trustworthy. They are upfront about coverages and costs. Furthermore, we initially came for a second opinion as another dentist told me my 5 year old daughter had 6+ cavities. I was skeptical about this because we brush, floss, and use mouthwash on her teeth daily and she doesn't eat many sweets, drink juice, etc.

When I came to this dentist, he did a thorough exam and told me she had only 2 very small ones. When we came back for fillings, they used laughing gas to relax my daughter, they were very quick (the actual procedure took under 5 minutes), and were so kind! I definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a superb children's dentist.
