Dr. Fiorillo got his DDS from the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry in 1997. He finished his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and got a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1993. While at Indiana University, Dr. Fiorillo was a member of the men's lacrosse team.
Dr. Fiorillo is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he served as a director in 2006.
Dr Fiorillo has always tried to stay at the leading edge of dental equipment. He has been included in the testing and development of several dental products including the 3m Lava Cad/Cam Digital Scanner and newly developed soft tissue laser system.
Dr. Fiorillo's hobbies involve working out, snowboarding, biking, surfing, and flying airplanes. He is a multi-engine, instrument rated private pilot. Dr. Fiorillo is also a member of the FDA, the Flying Dentists Association.

I was referred here by a coworker and I hope to return the favor soon. They are great, they did a lot of work on me in a short period of time and helped me resolve insurance questions, worked with me to schedule appointments when it was convenient for me, and took me in for emergency unplanned visits. I am very surprised I was able to find such a great dentist, I was apprehensive leaving my childhood dentist (due to geography) and feel grateful for this group.

I just had my first appointment at Fiorillo Dental and was very pleased. Everyone was extremely helpful and Dr. Fiorillo explained in detail, the dental work we discussed doing moving forward. The estimated costs are very fair. The reason I switched to Fiorillo Dental is because the prior dentist seemed too eager to do work that may have been questionably needed. Also, my original dentist this fall had me sign a waiver that the crown they put in would only be guaranteed for one year. It felt like it was at a factory. At Fiorillo they actually really care and don't seem in it just for the money!

Great office, people, and service. Fiorillo Dental blew away my expectations during my first visit, and for once, I actually enjoyed my visit to the dentist. Everyone I interacted with were beyond friendly and helpful. As a plus, the room I was in during my cleaning had a TV on the wall and on the ceiling, which took my mind off the service the entire time. I would highly recommend this dentist.

My experiences at Fiorillo Dental are always very positive. The reminder system is great because it keeps me on top of my schedule. Every hygienist I've encountered have been very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer great tips to keep my gums and teeth healthy without feeling like I'm being shamed. I love the TV screens, both for entertainment and the complete walk through of my x-rays by Dr. Liebzeit. Fiorillo Dental has really differentiated itself from other dentists I've been to and I'd recommend the team to anyone.

The first time I went to Fiorillo Dental I had to have a cap replaced in my mouth that had deteriorated. I found the entire staff, from the receptionist to Dr. Fiorillo himself, to be be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and highly accomplished in their individual responsibilities! Dr. Fiorillo immediately puts you at ease and explains everything in the vernacular so that there are no questions left unanswered.
I have been returning ever since for my cleanings and any other dental work I've needed done.every visit being as enjoyable as the first! I have since recommended Dr Fiorillo to my daughter and son-in-law who have also become regular patients and are equally as pleased with the practice. In addition, I have also recommended Dr. Fiorillo to the children of several of my N.Y. business associates who have needed dental work done while attending college in Boston.
They are only sorry that he is not NYC based so that they can continue seeing him! In short, I have no reservations in recommending this practice to anyone in need of finding a superb dentist in the metropolitan Boston area!

After moving to Boston I needed to find a new dentist. I came across Fiorillo Dental and saw nothing but great reviews. I've been going for 2 years now and the staff and experience lives up to the hype. They are extremely friendly and professional. Each cleaning is a breeze and I never dread going. They are prompt with their timing and are very open and clear with any issues with your teeth. I'm very happy going here and will continue to do so!

I moved to Boston about a year and a half ago and picked Dr. Fiorillo because of the good reviews and the fact that it is across the street from my office. I am so glad convenience worked out! Dr. Fiorillo is great- professional, honest, to the point. I've gone for regular cleanings and maintenance etc but also had an unfortunate situation where I chipped a tooth and they were quick about addressing it and being upfront about the cost (so much better than what I thought!) and working with your insurance.
No more chipped tooth and no hole in my bank account either! Another thing I really like about the front office- they actually mean it when they will note and call you if there are any cancellations before your appointment. I travel a lot for work and so my time in Boston is limited and they called me five separate times before my actual appointment to accommodate me- sometimes several days in advance some times the day of. I really appreciate that they take the time and effort to give their patients the best care they can. 10/10 recommend!

Loved my experience! They made the first appointment so easy and got all my x-rays from my previous dentist. The appointment I booked was a handful of weeks out but I got texts if an appt was cancelled and I actually got in much earlier! Really friendly staff and made me feel really comfortable, not overselling unneeded services. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Updating this review from earlier: My insurance switched and they were no longer an in-network provider I initially faced a $300 dollar bill because of insurance confusion, but just received a wonderful call from them that cleared up the issue on their end. They were incredibly responsive to the insurance issue and so I'm updating my review to reflect their responsiveness to my earlier issue.

Dr. Fiorillo and Dr. Liebzeit were both incredibly friendly and professional. Their hygienist Kristel was warm, welcoming and explained everything really well. The front staff and assistants were also a pleasure to work with - you can tell that everyone enjoys working with one another. They also do not pressure you to buy or upgrade to things that you don't need, which has been an issue with other dentists.
I especially appreciate the billing staff who proactively contacted my insurance company prior to a procedure to send me a quote. I have never had a dentist who's staff not only could appropriately handle billing, but also proactively gave me an estimate prior to my appointment. The office is in a convenient location and is very clean, modern, and welcoming. I didn't even get a chance to sit down in the waiting room as they were right on time (or early!) for my appointments. Highly recommend this dentist office.

I was referred to Dr. Fiorillo by a friend and was so happy I made the change! The entire staff is incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Fiorillo is extremely professional, experienced and kind. He takes time to answer questions thoughtfully and without making you feel rushed. I would highly recommend if you live and/or work in Back Bay, or if you are just looking for a great Dentist!

I can't say enough about this practice! As a family with a variety of dental issues - some complex, some not - I have found the care to be of the highest quality. Additionally, the engagement of staff; the amenities (tvs on the ceiling - seems like a small thing, but it's really great) and the location make this an ideal practice for us! I highly recommend Dr. Fiorillo and his team! And, I love that Isabel treats us all like family :)

I've been living in Boston forever with a dentist out of state and it was finally time to find someone local. Dr. Fiorillo was awesome! Great work and they're super friendly and make you comfortable. Office is in Back Bay near Copley Square and scheduling was easy. Looking forward to coming here for many years to come.

I moved to Boston two years ago and had been avoiding adult responsibilities of finding a dentist till last week. Through a friends recommendation I made an appointment with Dr. Fiorillo for a month out for a basic cleaning and check-up. Of course 2 days before I was supposed to be going out of town and 3 weeks before my scheduled appointment I woke up with the most intense pain in a tooth and called their office right away.
Not only did I have the most pleasant experience with his front desk staff but they were able to squeeze me in THAT DAY to get me looked at before I hopped on my flight. I'm so grateful for them doing that for me and was able to enjoy my trip, pain free! I still have my next appointment lined up with them for a cleaning and now I'm not even nervous about it. Coming from someone with a lot of life anxiety but EXTRA when it comes to going to the dentist, you need Dr. Fiorillo in your life. I trusted what he said, felt at ease with his wonderful team and can't wait to get my smile back to healthy. 10 STARS IF I COULD!

Best dentist experience I've ever had! The entire staff was incredibly helpful, thorough, and welcoming. I had been to several other dentists trying to fix a chipped tooth, and no one else could get it right. Dr. Fiorillo never made me feel rushed and took the time to examine the issue, listen to what I was looking for, and remedy it. He was great about explaining what he was doing throughout the appointment and making sure I felt comfortable. He even contacted me the next day to check in. I really cannot thank Dr. Fiorillo enough and would recommend him to anyone!

Cant say enough great things! I have recommend Dr. Fiorillo to everyone in my office and its no surprise people keep going backl From the moment you walk into the office the entire staff is friendly and warm. The receptionist always remembers your last conversation which I continue to be amazed by. The hidden gem though are the TV's on the ceiling!
It really does take your mind off of the visit and it flys by! It's also nice to be able to catch up on a little daytime TV every now and then! The doctor himself always makes an appearance and you never feel rushed through like some other places. They really care about their patients and its evident in every detail of your visit. The goodie bag with a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste is also perfect for leaving in the office for those after lunch brushing session they are always reminding me about.

Fantastic dentist. I was immediately impressed with how friendly his front office assistant was, and the doctor himself is very personable, charismatic, and takes the time to listen to you and explain his thoughts about your current dental situation and recommended treatment plans. I was also very impressed with how well integrated technology is into his office - there are flat panel displays everywhere (including on the ceiling for when you are laid back in the chair!) and he took some pictures of some of my problem teeth that he was then able to put on screen to discuss with me. I will definitely be going back.

All the staff at Dr. Fiorillo's practice are awesome - friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. They sent me all my paperwork ahead of time. I included my medical instead of my dental insurance and they they looked me up through my company and found it in a matter of seconds. I went right in to the see the hygienist without any waiting. They have a TV on the ceiling! And the doctor is fantastic. Overall - 5/5

Went to Dr. Fiorello this morning after going two years without the dentist-- due in part to laziness and in part to hating my old dentist's office (Gentle Dental on Newbury St.). I was taken early, which was great-- Isabel, the office manager, even texted me to let me know I could come in early due to a cancellation. Shana cleaned my teeth and took some x-rays, and she was so friendly and nice the entire time. Dr. Fiorello was also friendly and knowledgeable.
I was a little apprehensive going to a dentist who does cosmetic dentistry for a cleaning, and I thought maybe they'd try to sell me on some cosmetic services, but they just cleaned my teeth and gave me some tips for better flossing. This was really refreshing coming in from my old dentist's office, who constantly tried to sell me orthodontic services that I didn't need (Invisalign, braces, gum surgery, you name it). Also, they emailed paperwork beforehand which saved some time before my appointment.

Dr. Fiorillo is HONEST, personable, and unbelievably knowledgable in his field. I've never been to a more beautiful office, perfectly located right on Boylston St. at Berkeley. The TV on the ceiling is so smart! He filled a few cavities for me, tossed my ill-fitting retainers and made me new ones, and cracks jokes while drilling your teeth. He's handsome to boot! His assistant Isabelle is awesome too. Just go already!

I grew up knowing how important oral health is, and so I won't just let anyone work on my teeth. Dr. David Fiorillo is the best they come - and I never doubt that I'm going to get exceptional work when I visit his office. His office is small and homey - iPads and TV's to keep you occupied - and his assistant is friendly and welcoming.
I have had several cavities filled by Dr. Fiorillo, including the replacement of a silver filling to white filling. He makes sure to talk you through the procedure to make you feel comfortable, but you won't even need it since you'll be so distracted by the TV on the ceiling! I've always had timely appointments leaving me with enough time to get other things done that day. I recommend Dr. Fiorillo without hesitation and promise you'll leave satisfied in your dental work and resulting bright smile!

I pay out of network to go to Dr.Fiorello’s office because it’s so convenient and always a good experience. They teach me dental hygiene tips, are on time, good with scheduling and pleasant all around. My girl Kriti is an A+ hygenist and Dr.Fiorello always takes the time to talk to me about my life and not just my teeth. Absolutely recommend making this your dental office of choice if you live/work in back bay!
