Dr. Eldon Hastings, a prominent practicing dentist, recognized a need in the dental industry. As the employer of many dental assistants, Dr. Hastings consistently saw dental assisting graduates enter his office without the necessary experience. He recognized the need for a school that provided real-world, hands-on training so aspiring dental assistants could learn the skills they need to provide excellent dental assisting services before they enter the field.Dr. Hastings founded AIDA on the belief that dental assisting could and should be taught under the guidance of Licensed Dentists and in a working dental clinic setting.

I can't say that being in the dental field was ever something I contemplated until I tagged along with my husband to tour this school. I immediately saw the opportunity and wanted to be apart of it. This school helped me right from the start. From helping me obtain a grant from the state, all the way to sending me numerous job openings after I graduated, this school staff ( Holly and Brenda) are amazing!
The teachers are so great too (Tammy and Monique), always re explaining something if you need but challenging you everyday to be a better version of yourself and to believe in yourself. I feel like this school really set me up for success in a career I never would have imagined doing, but I honestly couldn't be happier :) I'm full of gratitude, AIDA.

AIDA is truly one of the greatest education experiences I've ever had. The instructors are phenomenal; they are passionate about what they do and they care for the success of their students. The course's hands on approach ensures that students leave the program with skills and confidence to assist dentists chair-side. The course is fast, but manageable, and the connections you make with other students and staff leave you with wanting more.
With the help of AIDA I was able to land a job one week before my program had ended (they are literally just that good guys!). If you're looking for a place to learn dental assisting I truly recommend AIDA.

Going to The American Institute of Dental Assisting was by far the BEST decision I have ever made! Not only are the classes super hands on and involved, but the material you're learning is the material you're gonna use all through your career. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and helpful there's never a question unanswered!

I loved going to AIDA! The staff went above and beyond to assist my classmates and I even when the pandemic hit the world which happened in the middle of my class. The teaching is incredible with teachers who have so much experience and they love you and want to help in every way possible. Andi was my teacher and I'm so grateful for the things she taught me and for being so natural with us and teaching with love.
I also went though a really tough medical trial the week of finals and they made it possible for me to still take finals and graduate. They continue even months later to check in on me and see how my dental career is going and provide me with any resources to be where I'd like to be. They care for their students no matter if they are enrolled yet, currently enrolled or graduated. I'd recommend this school to anyone. Pick this school, I'm so glad I did!

I finished school in August and got hired right away! Even through a pandemic I was able to learn everything to prepare me for a job in the dental field. Everyone at AIDA is so friendly and knowledgeable. Being there was such a good and fun learning environment and I recommend to anyone wanting to go into this field!

One of the best teaching experiences I have ever had! Very hands on, the program gets straight to the point, super fun if it wasn't for Tammy, Brenda, Betty, Sam, Holly, Brian and so many more people there at AIDA it could not be the same with out them such an amazing staff. Love my instructors and everyone there thanks to them for making the environment so lively!

Such an amazing school! I can't praise this school enough! I had an amazing fun experience. The staff and instructors are so heart warming! Everything is straight to the point and hands on! You work on real patients, not dummies! The schedules they have to offer are unbeatable & especially the price! I recommend this school 110%! I recently finished & it was the best decision I've made. I hope AIDA continues growing & doing what they do!

This was the best school ever. I toured a few different assisting schools and this is the only one that stood out to me. I felt so welcomed and knew I had to go here! From Brenda, to Holley, to the wonderful instructors, you will feel right at home like you are apart of their family. Best decision I ever made! This school is AMAZING and has had such an impact in the short 13 weeks of class. All the Instructor and staff are awesome they are warm and friendly and love every aspect of the dental field and want nothing more than to see you succeed in your dental career. They are knowledgable in every aspect and they share as much of that knowledge with all there classes. The class is only 13 weeks long but they are an forever mentor for each and every student (even after class).

This is by far the best school I have attended. Every teacher and staff member is so helpful no matter what the situation or question might be. They treat everyone so fairly with one-on-one attention. Lessons are hands on which is awesome because I find it being a better learning experience. I just over all love the efforts from everyone here such a lively great environment! This is definitely the greatest learning experience I've had and I'm super happy with my choice in choosing this school. Thanks to all the AIDA staff!

If I could give this school a 500 out of 5, I would. I absolutely LOVED everything about AIDA. From my instructors, all the way to the dentist that you work with during clinics. You always feel so welcomed even after you finish your course! Holly and Lynn are so helpful when it comes to feeling confused or lost about what's going on! I love AIDA, if I could go back, I would in a heartbeat!

I loved how we got to practice with each other and work on real people. I also loved how everyone pretty much became family! I'm so thankful for this school and the teachers who taught me to work hard/keep practicing.
