This is Steve Boozalis (Jane's husband). Jane was kind enough to allow me to post on her account regarding my experience(s) with Kathy Frazar DDS and her Crew. In a word, 'Unbelievable. Dr Frazier runs an outstanding, high quality, customer service oriented dental practice. I've been going to Dr Fazar and Katie(the awesome dental hygienist) for many years and can't say enough good things about them. Invisalign, teeth cleanings, etc., all great experiences. Recently, a couple of my sixty year old fillings needed to be replaced and they introduced me to Dr. Rafiah Khan. Wow. Is everyone in this office a consummate professional. Dr. Khan told me exactly what to expect and with a well practiced economy of motion, skillfully went through the process of replacing two fillings in less than an hour. Sitting in the vibrating dental chair with a warm blanket and a netflix movie playing I almost went to sleep. They informed me everything was over, offered me some fizzy fruit water and I was on my way. I highly recommend this Crew.

I just moved to Houston recently and needed a new dentist. My previous Dentist recommended this office and I am so glad he did. Upon arrival I was greeted by the front desk and given a tour. The office is wonderful and they are equipped with advanced dental technology. I went in for a consult and Radiance took the time to go over my dental goals. The entire staff were so sweet. I am looking forward to making this office my new dental home.

I came here in March 2018 for a consultation as I was very unhappy with my smile. I thought I was going to need veneers to get myself the smile I wanted. During the consultation, Dr Frazar told me that my teeth are healthy, I don’t need to spend that kind of money and she can get me the smile I want using clear correct braces. Slightly over a year later, my teeth are straighter and nicer than I ever expected!! The staff are super friendly and even sent my wife and I a wedding card when we got married. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Thank you Houston Dentist!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Frazar for almost 20 years. She and every member of her staff are lovely, professional, cheerful and caring. Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist but Dr. Frazar strives to make it as painless as possible in every way that she can. But most importantly she takes care of your teeth and your general health. She is so nice that you want to floss just to make her happy!

Dr Frazar, Dr Hedge and their staff go out of their way to take care of and accommodate their patients. I have been a patient of Dr Frazar's for 20+ years and wouldn't go to anyone else. Her recommendations for dental work through the years has always been right on target, trying less aggressive options when appropriate. I trust her implicitly. I can also personally attest to the quality of her cosmetic work.
It is outstanding! I don't usually write reviews, but the courtesy and care that my family and I have received from The Houston Dentists through the years has been exceptional, and I thought it was about time I shared that.

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I posted it on the dentists' website but it is not there, I suspect because it was less than glowing. That said, here is the review I posted there: My long time dentist passed away suddenly so I was forced to find another dentist very quickly when I broke a tooth. The Houston Dentists were recommended to me so I went there.
The tooth could not be repaired so I needed an implant. The Houston Dentists say that they do implants on their website but THEY DO NOT DO IMPLANTS. They bring in a periodontist to do the procedure. I was OK with that until it came to my attention (after the procedure and I had already paid) that the Houston Dentists raise the price on the procedure so that THEY can make some money.
As it turned out the price I paid was approximately $675.00 more than if they had referred to me to the periodontist for the procedure in his office. I feel very disillusioned by this experience and needless to say do not feel I can return to their office for my dental work. I feel very disillusioned by this experience. I feel that, since dental implants are a totally out of pocket expense for the patient which can be quite a financial hardship for most people, a referral directly to the periodontist would have been in order because it would have kept the cost for the same service from the same provider lower rather than charging more so that they could make $675.00 off of my misfortune.

This office always sends out very helpful appointment reminders. The staff is very polite; they remember my name every time I come in! This is a professional, pleasant office, with a great energy, high tech equipment and reasonable prices. Their dentists have a wealth of knowledge and experience and will give you the smile you always wanted. They're doing it for me!

I first walked into Dr. Frazar's office in October 2006. I have had dark, crooked teeth my entire adult life. My gums were terribly receeded, and my front tooth had been injured several years before, and was especially dark and was starting to become loose. I wanted Dr. Frazar to put veneers on my top front teeth so I would not be ashamed to smile at my son's college graduation in December.
I was very disappointed at the time, but Dr. Frazar explained to me that we would first have to bring my mouth back to good health, and that for me, a quick cosmetic fix was not appropriate. Over the next several months, I had many visits with Dr. Frazar and also with the periodontist in her office before finally getting my new smile. I did not get to smile for the graduation, but now, almost 10 years later, I am so thankful that Dr. Frazar took the time to do things the right way. I'm 55+ years old and I have a beautiful, white, healthy smile - people ask me all the time who my dentist is.
I no longer live in Houston, so I don't see her on a regular basis now. I recently had a little issue, and decided it would be worth a trip back since it involved one of my front teeth, and didn't want to take the chance of ruining my beautiful smile. Dr. Frazar happened to be on vacation that week, but her staff contacted her, and she even offered to come in the next day to see me.
I didn't take her up on the offer, but I was amazed that a dentist I hadn't seen in 5 years even offered to do that. It just shows how dedicated she is to her patients. I'll have to admit, when I went for my initial visit and was told how much all of the work would cost, it was more than I thought it would be. I went home and really had to think about it.
I am so glad I decided to invest in my smile and that I chose this dentist. It has been life changing and it's the best thing I have ever done for myself. It is so nice to be able to smile confidently when meeting people or going on job interviews, etc. I originally planned to only fix my upper teeth, but when we were finished, I was so excited about them that I had her do the bottom teeth also. My only regret is that I waited so long to do it.

Always a lovely experience from the moment you enter! Genuinely friendly, smiling faces. Jessica, the hygienist, is remarkable. She is always concerned about your comfort and positive experience. She is meticulous and makes my visit something I actually look forward to instead of dreading. I have known Dr. Frazar for many, many years. She served my children when they were young and well into young adulthood. She served my aged father, who had significant problems, with loving care and the highest degree of professionalism. I will be forever grateful to her for that!

My entire family (Wife, 2 college students and myself) have been visiting Dr. Frazar's practice for over 6 years. The work that she and her colleague Dr. Hedge perform is outstanding. They utilize the most current state of the art equipment and technology. The staff is consistently and continuously involved in continuing education. I have the utmost confidence in the Houston Dentists!

I haven't been to the dentist in 6 years. Partially because I'm busy, partially because I don't have many teeth issues, and partially because I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. I've seen the office just driving by and because I live in the area. I finally had a lull in my schedule at work and they were able to get me in the next day.
I had such a great experience here! The staff is so incredibly sweet and so is Dr. Frazar! Stephen (I hope I have her name right, she's seriously the best!) took me in asked a bunch of questions and explained everything very thoroughly. I really feel like they are more than just about your teeth, but your overall health and how your mouth fits in and connects to everything.
The technology in the office is great! It's awesome because they have the ability to be very visual and show you everything they see and walk you through it. I completely appreciate that they take their time and it doesn't feel at all like they are trying to hurry you out! As for the comments to the day spa-ish, it kind of is, but its wonderful (it makes it more comfy and less like a stale dentists office)!
As someone who works in the construction/architecture industry I have an appreciation for interior design, & the office is beautifully done (imo). All in all - I very highly recommend Dr. Frazar and her team and the facilities - good dentists are hard to find and she has been by far the best I have ever been to.

As someone who HATES the dentist because of childhood experiences finding Dr Frazar and her team was a dream come true. There is nothing like feeling and looking like the plane is going down while in the chair because that was me! Dr Frazar's office completely turned that around for me. Not only did the they make me feel comfortable but everything was explained to me so I could understand.
They took the time to make sure I knew exactly was going on which made it less stressful. From the moment I walked in the door they talk to me like I was a close friend and made me feel like I am the only person there. I highly recommend this office! If you are looking for a Great Dentist with a Great Team this is where you need to be.they go that extra mile which is so hard to find!

I love Dr. Frazar and the entire team at The Houston Dentists! Everybody there is really great. They have all kinds of technology that makes the trip to the dentist much easier and less stressful, which I really appreciate since I've always hated the dentist. I'd definitely recommend them, top notch. And it's definitely the nicest dentist's office I've ever been in!

The BEST. My wife and I have been going to Dr Frazar for over 15 years and wouldn't think about going anywhere else. The office and patient areas are ALWAYS clean, the equipment is up to date and anyone they have ever referred me to (braces and extraction) has been top notch. The staff are professional and friendly. My hygenist Sabrina is the best - and as someone who was hesitant to go to the dentist for a long time - I don't mind going anymore (I almost look forward to it.)

I discovered Dr. Frazar while looking for a second opinion for a veneer I wanted to get on one tooth. The tooth had been terribly crooked (it grew in sideways and slightly behind another tooth) and I had always been self conscious about it. My regular dentist said we could do a Lumineer, but that would cost about $1200 + $250 for ZOOM whitening. NATURALLY, I decided to look for another dentist to give me a second opinion.
When I got to the office for my (free) consultation, there was a sign in the elevator apologizing for the remodeling that was going on. The door opened and the place looked like a freakin' SPA. The decor was beautifully done and there were snacks and cold water and juice in the cute sitting area. I was greeted warmly and was taken into a consult room where I had pictures taken of my profile, as well as had thorough pictures taken of my teeth (seriously, every nook and cranny of my mouth was documented). Dr. Frazar came in and talked about my options (a Lumineer, dental bonding, and Invisalign) and we decided that the best option for me was to do bonding for now (since it was in my budget) and get my entire teeth done at a later date.
I called them back 2 weeks later to schedule an appointment to get the bonding done and could be seen the next day. I was taken to my room and was offered a blanket and headphones (Bose, BTW) to watch TV, AND a remote that controlled my massage chair. The bonding was painless and lasted about 30 minutes. Dr. Frazar took great care making sure my bite wouldn't be interrupted by the bonding and made sure that the color of the bond looked natural and matched my other teeth.
As soon as she was finished, she showed me and I started tearing up. I have lived with this crooked tooth since college and it was such a relief to know that I could smile confidently again. I can't speak for the other reviewers that gave her one star, but maybe the have taken measures to greatly improve their service. I was certainly impressed.

Dropping my review because I think it is INSANE that the doctor would look me up and respond to me here.or at all. This will make people think twice about honest reviews knowing the doctor will look you up and call you out for not reading your handouts. And I am sure she knows it. She is getting mixed reviews for very good reasons, she needs to suck it up and take it.
I fully understood the policies. What I didn't understand was why they kept adding new appointments that cost more money.hold on, it was to make more money! I get it. They treat you like an open pocket book.some of their patients are. I am not. It was a total and complete rip off. They sent the person who referred me a $75 gift. Ummmm.really? Come on! That came out of my pocket!

I hate going to the dentist. I was never scared of them as a child, but that's probably because a) none of my pediatric dentist's hygenists were sadists and b) I never had any cavities until I was 19. I can't stand needles, so how in the world am I supposed to be okay with needles being STUCK INTO MY MOUTH? I had a particularly unpleasant sedation dentistry experience to get one cavity fixed four years ago (they didn't use enough gas so I was still trying to get out of the chair and fight the dentist), and I haven't been so much as near another dentist since.
In looking for a dental experience that WOULDN'T be traumatic, I stumbled across Dr. Kathy Frazar's reviews on Yelp. Without a cleaning in four years and dental insurance to spare, I needed to make an appointment, and Dr. Frazar sounded like a dream come true. I called and left a message, I emailed, I called and left a message again. I was getting pretty frustrated with the lack of response until I finally reached someone on the phone and they scheduled me for a new patient consultation.
No work done--just showing me around the office, taking pictures, and talking about my goals for my smile. Sounds non-threatening enough. I was reminded to fill out new patient forms, available to print online, before I walked in the door. No problem, though I wasn't sure how some of the questions really related to teeth. I arrived at Dr. Frazar's office at 8am sharp and turned in my paperwork.
I was given a few release forms to sign, one of which detailed the fact that Dr. Frazar is a fee-for-service dentist and is not a provider for any insurance company. They'd file insurance paperwork for me, but I had to pay upfront, it was up to my insurance company to reimburse me, and it wasn't guaranteed that my insurance would cover any part of a given procedure.
As I sat there and sweated, and desperately tried to recount my monthly budget, I realized that a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere and free cookies was not worth the financial stress. A few patients were there for routine work and all three of them disappeared to start their treatments while I sat and waited. After sitting and waiting for 25 minutes past my appointment time, despite the fact that I'd brought my paperwork completely filled out and had signed the consent forms in no time flat, I decided to leave sans consultation.
Just BEING in the dentist's office makes me stressed--I don't need the added strain of wondering if I'll be able to pay for healthy teeth. After showing up at work earlier than expected, my coworker and I got to chatting and she recommended her dentist--a really nice woman who offers some of the same cosmetic treatments Dr. Frazar provides AND is in-network. I'm sad I wasn't able to experience the rave reviews that Dr. Frazer engenders from other Yelpers, but I'd really rather just plop down my co-pay at another dentist instead of having to feverishly worry about how to pay for a certain procedure. I've made an appointment with the other dentist, so hopefully that will be a positive experience.

Friendly service with very knowledgeable staff. Dr. Kathy Frazar is truly a skilled artist in her field. She has an excellent educational background and extensive experience with people of all shapes and sizes. Their state of the art technology makes your visit that much easier/comfortable. I really recommend her to anyone who is interested in cosmetic dental work.

They are truly dedicated to their patients and are constantly staying ahead in their field by taking continuing education. That is what makes them the Best of The Best!! Dentistry is a true art and they are true artists with a heart dedicated to their patients best care.Thank you both for helping me the best I can be also.

I had an emergency recently and had to contact The Houston Dentist after hours. (Very late into the evening) I was so happy to know that someone was available to not only take my call but also was willing to listen to my needs and work me into the schedule the very next day, even though Dr. Farmer was booked for surgery. My dental emergency was taken care of, and I walked out satisfied.

The staff at The Houston Dentists always makes me feel welcome! Katie is an excellent Hygienist. She was very thorough, attentive to my needs, instructive and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and caring for my gums. I highly recommend her. Dr. Frazar checking on me was an added bonus! I was able to check in without waiting and while checking out the staff made sure I had what I needed and rescheduled my next appointment. I highly recommend The Houston Dentists!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Frazar for nearly 35 years! Additionally, she was my children’s dentist, as well as my elderly father’s dentist! She is professional, patient, kind, and makes all visits as pain free as absolutely possible! Her entire staff is stellar! Six years ago, my husband and I moved from Bellaire to The Woodlands. Distance does not matter to me when it comes to my dental care! I am a forever patient of Houston Dentists!!!
