Dr. Mike Ghattas
Dr. Ghattas is a graduate of Boston University in 1994 as a general dentist with advanced training in graduate dentistry in 1995 in the same university. With experience in the fields of cosmetic and restorative dentistry for more than twelve years; Dr. Ghattas decided to advance his training to a higher level, thus persued his post-graduate training in periodontology, implantology and periodontal plastic surgery with a graduation in 2010. Dr. Ghattas is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry for his achievements in the field, in addition to a Masters level in the field of Periodontology and Implantology, Dr. Ghattas is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which makes him an expert in this field.

I took my daughter here and they rushed through the xrays and the cleaning. They informed me she needed sealants and a possible root canal and told me I had to pay $400 before I could even make an appointment to get the work done. I made the deposit under the impression if the work didn't get done I would get my money back. Her appointment was at 6pm on a Thursday I called them back at 930am the next morning (Friday) to inform them I would like to cancel the appointment and receive a refund due to me getting her an appointment at UIC.
They stated they don't do refunds I signed a paper that says no refunds. I said that is a compete lie I have the paperwork where does it say that. The receptionist said oh it doesn't say that hold on please then came back and said well we don't do refunds sorry even though it didn't say that on the paperwork and they aren't performing any work and I called early enough to allow someone else to take that spot if they needed to since we were the last patient before closing Thursday and I called when they opened on Friday.
They are complete crooks. I got a second opinion and my daughter doesn't need sealants she needs fillings. They want you to pay your money then have to come back and pay more. They aren't in the best interest of you or your children. I spoke with the office manager Tony that apologized and said my refund would be on my card in 7-10 days and it's been 3 months and now Tony isn't with them anymore and the head dentist won't take any calls. DONT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Money hungry crooks!

Unprofessional. Failed to inform us of their new location. Next visit with other children was informed that I couldn't go in with my 6 and 10 year old. Mind you, I have always gone in with them with this dentist. I said I will go in with them. Dentist came out and said that if 6 year old couldn't go without me (she has anxiety since her eye surgery) then she would have to wait till she was grown up. Then asked me if this was why I homeschooled. At this point I decided to leave and find a new dentist. Don't need to be insulted

Dr. Hansen is dishonest and money hungry. Robbed me and my insurance company for thousands of dollars. Ruined my teeth! He is very deceitful! You are taking a HUGE risk by going to this dentist unless you need a simple cleaning or filling. Think twice and read his reviews carefully! He pays for fake good reviews.

I went to another dentist where they told me I needed multiple root canals and after I would have to get approved for crowns. Scary. Dental designers though did all the work no root canals. I didn't feel a thing! I also got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled and I'm 34. My face did not swell up and I had 0 dry socket and I'm a regular smoker. Staff is very friendly and kind.
I didn't feel judged at all here, which really helped with my anxiety about getting the work done. I would say it's a game changer, but it's more than that. literally a life changer. I would recommend Dr. Hanson and his professional staff to friends and family without hesitation. That being said this has been the best dental exp of my life. I'm extremely happy with what they achieved! Hands down 100\10!
