Southwest Oral Surgery

This was my first time visiting this practice. I did not know anyone or about anything within this practice besides google telling me there's over 1,200, 5-star reviews with not a single 4, 3, 2 or 1 star review. Which, honestly, made me wonder if the reviews were "purchased". Hey. the worst thing that could happen is I wasted a bit of time and money in a consultation.

No biggie. I sat down with Dr Lam to go over my situation. I can confidently say, that if every team member in this practice possesses the same thoroughness and culture as what Dr Lam for provided me, those 1200+ reviews are, without a doubt. 100% real. I have found my Dr.

The best dental care I have ever received. Very caring and compassionate staff yet professional and thorough. Dr Lam is exceptional in his manner, ability and knowledge in his work. I am so very pleased with the care and procedure I experienced. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

Went and had a tooth extracted there. This is my third time returning and each and everytime my experience there has been nothing but great. The office is clean, staff are friendly and professional. Kelly is very good at her job and very professional. Dr. Lam has great bedside manner, professional, kind and very informative. I highly recommend Southwest Oral surgery for your dental needs!

I was not looking forward to getting a tooth pulled, but Southwest Oral Surgery made the experience as enjoyable as possible! Every single person I spoke with was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The doctor was excellent, and the procedure itself was much quicker and easier than I had feared. In short, getting my tooth pulled wasn't like pulling teeth! I'd trust Southwest oral surgery and Dr. Buch with any and all of my future oral surgery needs, and recommend them to anyone who asks

I highly recommend Southwest oral surgery. Today I went in to have one tooth extracted with local anesthetic, my experience from the very beginning upon entering until my procedure was finished was very relaxing. My Dr., Dr. Saiz did a terrific job with the extraction, there was no pain what so ever, he makes sure that you are very comfortable before he begins! Cynthia, his assistant was so nice and great at her job as well. Southwest oral surgery is definitely the place you want to go if you are having one tooth, many teeth extracted or whatever the case may be.

My experience with Southwest Oral Surgery was outstanding. The staff and my dentist, Dr. Carlos Alvarez were the greatest. They were polite, understanding, answered all my questions, and they made my visit and treatment a very comfortable experience. The Doctor was kind enough to call me the next day to check on how I was doing. I would give them more stars If there was more than the 5 star rating.

Excellent! Fractured tooth (next to implant pulled). Filled out paperwork on line. Short wait. Front office very efficient and kind. All other staff wonderful as well. All kept me informed and explained why's and wherefore of each and every step and how I could make it the best experience for all. I appreciated Dr Carlos Alvarez DMD enough ( Personable, efficient, kind) Greeted me.

He explained what I should expect as well and all noises I would hear. Wished me well before he left room and told me not to hesitate to call if I had ANY questions or concerns. Staff made sure I had detailed written instructions before I left.

Kelly was very helpful and sweet! Dr. Lam really made me feel comfortable, was very informative, and explained everything in a way I could understand during my consult! I am glad I was referred to SouthWest for my wisdom teeth removal! Dr. Lam called me several times before the surgery to make sure I didn't have any questions! He has a very calming presence about him which made my nervousness so much better! The surgery experience was very good! The staff was so sweet and took very good care of me!

Dr. Lam and his team made me feel so at ease despite a fairly devastating circumstance (I had to have an extraction after losing a crown on a molar that had a previous root canal and subsequent tooth breakage). For a patient who has many medical diagnoses and takes multiple medications, Dr. Lam is the perfect combination of confident and gentle. Nobody wants to go to the dentist, much less an oral surgeon, but if you have to, I highly recommend SW Oral Surgery!

The best medical-related experience I have ever had; would recommend to anyone in need of wisdom teeth removal. I was able to easily make a consultation appointment, the receptionists were so kind and patient. The medical assistants were incredible and made sure my comfort was a priority. Dr. Alvarez and the assistants did a fantastic job explaining the components of the surgery and reassuring me.

When I started experiencing pain a week following my surgery they were able to get an appointment for me immediately to address my pain. They were very understanding and explained why I was experiencing the pain and eased my mind. They also provided detailed instructions and tools for at-home treatment. Absolutely wonderful team!

Dr Mansfield is amazing. So gentle, and super funny. He really took great care of me, love him! Also his assistant was awesome I'm sorry I don't remember her name though. I've truly never had such an awesome visit with any type of dentist or oral surgeon. I would recommend Dr Mansfield everyday all day.

The staff from the front office to the back office dental assistants are wonderful. It was my first time at Southwest Oral Surgery and I was apprehensive from the start, but Dr. Hull and staff were very accommodating and respectful of my anxiety. He talked me through what he was doing and when I was done, I was given his cell number if I had any questions or concerns. Excellent service and staff. I would highly recommend to anyone need specialty service.

I can't say enough good things about this office. Starting at the front desk; Nicole, who assisted during the procedure and Dr. Hull. I was nervous and they answered every question I threw at them with patience and honesty. Dr. Hull gives great Novocain shots! Barely felt a thing. All in all, it wasn't the painful ordeal I was dreading. Hopefully, I won't be needing an extraction again but if I do, it will be with this group of specialists.

Yesterday I had a late morning appointment with Dr. Gettleman and found out that a tooth under an old crown, that was giving me trouble, could not be saved and needed to be pulled. Dr. Gettleman's office called Southwest Oral Surgery at 11:30am and they arranged for me to go in at 2 pm. The girls at the front desk were very helpful and I was shortly called in by Sherri, Dr. Buch's assist.

She showed me the xray of my bad tooth and explained what was going on and what to expect. We talked about the graft that would be necessary for an implant or bridge, to how long all of this will take to heal and the level of pain and what to do about what to expect when taking the antibiotics and pain meds. I was put at ease and made comfortable. Dr Buch came in and talked to me about the problem with the tooth and what he plans to do and when I wanted to do this.

In spite of the fact that I was worked in, he took the time to talk to me and let me decide if I wanted to proceed with the extraction or wait. I chose to proceed and he told me what he was going to do and what to expect. He went over the xray with me and put me at ease with the procedure. I can't say enough about how my situation was handled and how great the entire procedure was dealt with.

Both Dr. Buch and Sherri were so friendly and very professional through the entire time I was under their care. I know that the end of this experience, in about 4 months, will turn out to be a complete success! Dr. Buch called me last night to see how I was doing, which I appreciated very much. He said that I might be in pain for a couple of days, but I took the ibuprofen that he prescribed and by the time I went to bed the pain was gone! Thank you Dr. Buch and Sherri!

They helped with advice after I could not reach my dentist after an extraction. Very helpful and friendly! If they are caring about non patients I can only imagine being a patient. Highly recommend!

Dr Hull and Nicole did a fantastic job on my wisdom tooth. I feel so much better and relieved that its out. I barely felt a thing and they were so nice and professional. I highly recomend this place to anyone. Thank you so much.

Yesterday I needed a tooth extraction done. The dental assistant Nicole was outstanding!!!! She got me all settled in and made sure I was comfortable before the procedure. After the Doctor was all finished. Nicole gave me a care package to take home. Now a day later I feel great. Thank you!!

Hard to say I loved it since I was having 2 teeth extracted. However, given the circumstances, Dr. Mansfield and his surgical assistant ( Cindy, I believe?) were the very best. He was compassionate and explained everything thoroughly. He was as gentle as possible given the circumstances. I have PTSD about any kind of dental work after a traumatic accident causing a lot of lifelong issues with my teeth.

I do not have Dental Insurance and they made sure I received the best care without charging me a small fortune. I will be back to remove my other 2 wisdom teeth and would recommend Dr. Mansfield to anyone who has anxiety about dental work. Thank you Dr. Mansfield for excellent care.

If you can love going to the dentist to have 2 extractions then this is the place to go! I have had a fear of dentists since early childhood but they helped me overcome that with the very wonderful care they gave me.. Thank you Dr Saiz, Brittany and Erin for being so thoughtful and making me so comfortable.. I will never go any where else!
