Our experienced pediatric dentists and team at Sunny Smiles Dentistry provide a variety of services for children, young adults, and patients with special needs. Our doctors provide the most up-to-date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of dental procedures in an atmosphere that encourages your child to feel relaxed and comfortable. They are trained and qualified to treat all children, including those with special needs who may have emotional, physical or mental challenges.
Each of our locations is designed with children in mind. We have a T.V. over each chair so children can have the option of enjoying a movie when having a visit with one of our awesome pediatric dentists. You will enjoy the vibrant colors and custom painted murals that this location offers. Our Oxnard dental office is conveniently located at 2100 Solar Drive, Suite 201, Oxnard. We're just past the Hilton Hotel on Solar Drive, in the two-story brown building on the corner of Solar Drive and Lockwood Street.

My daughter and I love this office. She's 3 and has had such a great experience each time she has gone in. Dr. Joe is super patient with her and is very thorough with explaining everything. If your kid gets excited to go to the dentist you know that's a good sign! Not to mention the rest of the office, from everyone in the front to the assistant in the back. Great team!

First class children's dental service in Oxnard! We saw both Dr. Joe and Dr. Vargas on 2 separate occasions and they were both generous with their time explaining thoroughly our children's dental health. Everyone at the office gave us the red carpet treatment! My children felt like rock stars and the prize Kelsey gave them at the end was a bonus! Thank you Sunny Smiles :

I couldn't be happier with the service my son and I received at sunny smiles in oxnard. All of the staff is so friendly and caring, they really go above and beyond in everything. Dr. Joe is a God send. My son is quite the handful and Dr. Joe worked his magic and made it so much easier than I could ever have imagined. I had been dreading taking my son to the dentist but now I know we are in the best of hands here, I love this place!

Dr Joe was absolutely amazing at doing his treatments and keeping my sons super calm and chill the entire time! They actually LIKE going to the dentist! Each time I tell them they have an appointment coming, they get excited and only remember the good things (such as a cute little "prize" at the end of the visit). Both of the helpers in my son's procedures were also very nice and friendly, reassuring my child that they were doing so well! & Lastly, the front receptionists; Jose and Chelsea, are beyond sweet and welcoming, It always feels more like we're visiting family here

Dr Joe & staff are so wonderful. My girls had horrible dental anxiety in the past but now they feel comfortable and actually look forward to their appointments. They make it a fun experience and do a wonderful job. Dr Joe takes his time, explains everything thoroughly and makes sure their teeth are exceptionally cared for. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I don't normally do reviews but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to compliment this amazing office. I came here for a second opinion for my daughter's tooth issue and thank goodness I did. From walking into the front office I was blown away by smiles and kindness. The doctors assistant (I forgot her name) was so amazing with my daughter, she even was able to get her to take x-rays which a prior dentist couldn't. Dr. Joe explained everything to me and even allowed me to stand over him and his assistant so I could comfort my daughter.
This will forever by my daughter's new dentist and I can't thank the staff enough for their patience, speed of treatment for my daughter, and understanding how stressful this time was for myself and my daughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Heroes truly work here.

As a first time parent my worry meter goes off the charts when something happens to my little one. I am overly grateful and in awe of the over the top customer care Dr. Sunny provided from Sunny Smiles Dentistry. While we were waiting in the emergency room he kept following up on the status of my daughter and requesting to see photos to evaluate the condition of her gums and teeth.
After she was cleared from the emergency room he was able to see her first thing and put a worried mom at ease. He is truly passionate in what he does and his love shines through with the care he provides.

Wow. Took my granddaughter to Dr. Joe at Sunny Smiles. I have never seen a beeter dentist at work. He was so patient and kind to her. She never felt a thing and the way he handeled the tools she never even saw a needle. Talk about amazing. She told her cousin that he didnt even give her one shot. Thats because she never felt or saw one. She actually said she cant wait to go back.
She had two teeth removed, a cavity filled and a sealant done. If youre looking for a kid friendly dentist whos caring and painfree. Dr. Joe is your man. I give him 10 stars.

We took our 4 year old daughter to Sunny Smiles and it was her first visit to the dentist so she was nervous. The staff was amazing. Our dental assistant, Letty was amazing and she explained everything to our daughter to help her relax. And Dr Linda was very helpful and understanding with us. I definitely recommend taking your kids to Sunny Smiles. They are amazing!

When your children tell you how much they have missed their dentist since their last appointment, you know they are doing something right! Dr. Adi at Sunny Smiles is awesome! I always feel like she takes her time to talk with my girls, to let me ask questions and make sure the kiddos are at ease!
