Arlington Dental Excellence

I went to Arlington dental excellence in an emergency situation, a filling came off didn't pay attention to it and my tooth got infected, had to have a root canal done. Thankfully Dr Mo was there to help me. I was very anxious as I have had bad experiences from other dentist! Dr Mo was very patient and explained everything, answered all my questions! Highly recommended, best Dr I have had the pleasure to work with! looking forward to work with him on the rest of my treatment.

Completely unorganized place to start. I had veneer work completed here and have been having issue with the " bite" ever since, other teeth movement due to improper placement/ measurements. Prior to the veneer being completed, I waited close to 16 days with temp veneers in my mouth ( typical time is 12 days) I now have to get other work done to fix the poor work done. I don't want to scare you away but stick to cleanings and whitings only with this place.

Great service and great prices. I want to thank Dr. Mo for the great work he did for me. He was very attentive and caring. He fixed multiple multiple root canals is one session. The next session, he did the crowns and veneers is no time. I was very impressed and thankful.

I have two good experiences at Arlington Dental Excellence so far. The staff there is friendly, welcoming, and very organized. My first visit was with Dr. MO for my wisdom tooth extraction, and the second one was with Dr. Alan for a tooth implant. Both Dr. MO and Dr. Alan are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and skillful in their job. Besides, they are friendly and very professional. Although I live in Rockville, I don't mind driving for 45 minutes to go there.

I have had veneers placed with dr Mo which are really amazing and looks very natural, I haven't experienced better than this before I didn't even feel anything during and after treatment although I heard that they could be sensitive for a week or so but honestly it was great thanks Dr Mo. I strongly recommend him for anyone who's looking for cosmetic and restorative dentistry

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I went in because of a whitening and had a slight sliver from a previous composite that had come undone. Dr. Mo said that it was not a good idea to do another composite and kept calling for a "veneer" he shaved down 3mm of my tooth, AFTER SAYING IT WAS ONLY GOING TO BE 1mm! He proceeded to mess up the crown 3 times and on the final time the crown is still crooked. ABOVE ALL THEY FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED MY INSURANCE!

I have gone to other practitioners to look at the xrays and pictures and I am in the process of pursuing medical malpractice and pushing for insurance to audit. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS OFTEN AND CHOSE TO WRITE THIS ONE! Dr. Mo is a complete and utter crook and Dr. Laith proceeded to defend his actions. They ruined my front tooth and kept charging my insurance for other procedures like a deep cleaning. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!

They have a very friendly and polite front desk staff - they really made me feel welcome! Dr. Hasan is wonderful -most kind and patient dentist I ever met. Dr. Alan removed my wisdom tooth. He and his assistant made me feel very comfortable and helped me calm down before the procedure. It was fast and painless, and it healed very well. It was a really good experience. I highly recommend both these doctors.

My favorite dentist ever. I had 8 crown veneers plus whitening with ADE. I can't find the words to express how impressed I am with their overall service. Starting from India at the front desk to Britney, to Tai, to Tsegi, to of course Dr. Hassan and Dr. Ali. I already booked my 6 month periodic follow up and cleaning with them. Their environment is so clean and most importantly friendly (given that I'm scared of dentists). They are LGBTQA+ friendly and plays club music in the clinic I think I found my dentist.

Not happy at all with the service here. First, the dentist discharged me with the wrong post operative instructions on my medication after a tooth instruction. Spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the office, cotton in my mouth of course, arguing with the office that the post op medication instructions that the office wrote for the pharmacy belonged to some one else. Next, the dentist cancelled my 8 am follow up appointment approximately a week later. Contacted me the night before to inform me that "the doctor won't be in tomorrow until 11am." Kind of miffed at that since I made it clear that I work during the day. Had 12:10 pm follow-up today. Waited in the lobby for 42 minutes for my appointment before I went to reception and informed them that I was walking out. Very unhappy. Took a follow up call soon thereafter with the doctor. Explained to him in no uncertain terms that my time is valuable and that was no way to run a business.

I chose this place due to their hours of operations and being able to accommodate scheduling after work hours. The staff here is awesome. The only dentist I've had thus far that did not hurt me when drilling and they are conscious of the quality of your stay throughout the visit. The crowns I've had to get are awesome. Quick turnaround on the permanent, sometimes even being able to be done on site. Overall I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone who is in need of any dental work done or simply your yearly maintenance. You'll be in good caring hands

I found this dental office on Google after having some severe tooth pain and being robbed blind weeks before by Emergency Dental USA downstairs in the same building. I made an appointment for that following Saturday (yes a Saturday!) which I was thrilled about because I didn't have to use any leave from work. I ended up having to get 2 root canals which I KNEW would not be cheap even with the best dental coverage (I'm a federal gov't employee with high option insurance).

I was flabbergasted when they brought me the total cost of 2 root canals! It was sooooo cheap compared to other offices I encountered! When I tell you, the office is so nice and the employees are so attentive, welcoming and caring! I absolutely LOVED my experience with them! Dr. Mo and Antoine were AMAZING! I have bragged to my family and friends about my experience and they ALL said they will give them a chance. This is now my new home for all my dental needs. Give them a call people! You won't be disappointed :)

Awful place. I spent my whole day off just trying to pick up my mouth guard. They charged me $350 for a piece of crap. The first time I had an impression, the girl was hurting me and pressing so hard on the top of my head. The second time to pick up my mouth guard was worse. Went at 1 needed a new impression and told me it would be ready in 45 mins. 3 hours later I go in, pay the remaining balance.

The mouth guard was so awful and scraping the top of my mouth. I waited another 20 mins for someone to come over. Idk who it was but the guy came over to me and I told him what my issues were and before I could finish, he was cutting me off, telling me to relax. Long story short, I will NEVER be going back. They embarrassed me and their customer service sucks.

I have seen Dr. Mo and and Dr. Alex for a root canal and crown. I recently experienced incredible pain the the tooth that had the root canal. Dr. Mo drained the infection and I no longer have any issues. I grind my teeth, so Dr. suggested a mouth guard. Staff is friendly, the assistants are knowledgable. Great dental office.

Amazing establishment! Loved the customer service. I'm glad I called when I did. My sister was in bad shape. Our original dental office was not willing to work with us! We had been looking for an office that was willing to take in a new patient on such short notice. And BAM. we found Arlington Dental Excellence. They were very kind and cheerful.

They took her in shortly after having closed office. They were able to have a doctor stay to help her. She had a nasty infection from her crown that had came loose and fallen out. Dr. Mo and Martin were very excellent in the procedure and all in all the process. They made her laugh and spoke to her in order to gain her trust and confidence. She felt great thought out the procedure and even more after! I'd like to thank these gentlemen's, Dr. Mo and Martin, again for the great attention placed for their patients. Amazing office with a great sense of humor!

DO NOT GO HERE! My experience at this office was absolutely horrendous. While there are multiple red flags I can point to, the biggest thing is that the office LOST my drivers license and insurance card for over an hour. Turns out, the employee who took it to get scanned took my license HOME. SHE TOOK MY LICENSE HOME. The office was unable to contact this employee so they had to send someone to her house to retrieve my license and insurance card.

Absolutely unacceptable. Not only that, the other employees victim shamed me and gaslighted me, saying that I was making a "big deal" out of the situation. I had stayed calm until they told me I was making a "big deal". The office did they not tell me until the very end that the employee took my license and insurance card home, but simply told me that they were unable to find it at their front desk so they had to wait for the other employee to return to the office.

Clearly they are unorganized and are unable to effectively manage employees. The service I had received even before they lost my ID was also unacceptable. I had went in for a wisdom teeth removal consultation and the dentist looked at my teeth for less than 5 seconds to determine that I had to remove my teeth. He offered no other explanations regarding the procedure and why he had determined that I had to remove my teeth.

He talked to me for maybe 1-2 minutes max (not to mention that he took a phone call during those 2 minutes). I repeat. DO NOT go to this dentist.that is unless you want the employees to take your ID home.

Hello, I am disappointed. While the staff is lovely and welcoming, I have complaints that nobody told me I had to get dental cleaning done before coming for my teeth whitening appointment. I had to get it done at the office when I found out minutes before my whitening procedure. I ended up paying more than I would have if I had gotten dental cleaning done through my insurance at another clinic. On top of that, I can't even tell much difference in the whitening. There was barely any color difference than my original teeth color. I paid $300 for nothing.

Very disappointed with this place. I was upset with the amount of times I was told by multiple people I needed vaneers for my front teeth, which was not why I was there in the first place and not a concern I had raised. I found it unnecessary and disrespectful to continuously mention an expensive cosmetic fix when I did not ask for it. Already self conscious about my teeth, I went home very upset.

On top of that, I had to go in after 1 day to have them fix a temporary crown and after the permanent crown, I noticed issues. Went to a second dentist who reported it was ill fitted to my tooth and had excess cement around it, therefore would need to be redone. Overall, not at all an enjoyable experience being in the office and now I have to get it redone! Will not be going back.

Had a great experience there today. Had a wisdom tooth extracted which I had been putting off doing for years. They did everything while I was awake which was pretty cool. I had to wear these cool, dark colored glasses which reminded me of 3D glasses. They numbed me a number of times so I did not feel anything. I was concerned about this tooth further damaging my molar in front of it upon being extracted.

It was rather large with fairly deep roots. Dr. Mo worked for awhile on it, telling me to open and close my mouth, turn my head from side to side, and I was beginning to wonder if he was going to be able to get it out. The assistant was doing everything he told her to do to help with the procedure. Kept thinking of the Wiggly Jiggly Loose Tooth chant I used to use when teaching my elementary music students hoping this tooth would become loose. Then, I remembered the words: "Ok, we're going to take the tooth now." And all of a sudden, there it was covered in blood and out of my mouth!

He pulled it right out. I applauded right there and then. Thank you for a first time, first rate experience Arlington Dental Excellence. I am planning to make them my permanent Dentist from now on and intend to have my cleanings done there when the time is right.

Do not trust the 5* reviews. This office deceived me into paying out of pocket. The receptionist told me twice that the doctor I would be seeing was in-network, which he was not. On the day of the service, they told me my insurance does not cover wisdom teeth extractions. Wrong again. Not only would the service have been covered by my insurance if I saw someone in-network, there is a surgeon within the same office that is in-network under my plan.

When I later called, the office repeatedly kept lying to me that It would not have mattered because dental insurance never covers wisdom teeth extraction, which is just blatantly wrong, and that I should consider changing plans from such a cheap insurance plan. They told me I should be grateful they offered me such a cheap cash price. Now I'm out $200 and Arlington Dental excellence refuses to accept any responsibility.

I don't know if these people are just incompetent or intentionally misleading patients into paying out of pocket, but I am certainly avoiding this place at all costs in the future.

Don't waste your money/time at this place - unclear diagnoses, no private rooms, and really crappy customer service. Not worth it - do not recommend

This place is Dental Heaven! ok so let Me just say I hate the DENTIST period but I came across this office when I needed an emergency visit the day after thanksgiving! They can accommodate you and everything when I walked into the office I realized it was very clean and the encounter with the front desk staff was amazing! I then encountered Marty the dental assistant and I fell in love with him.

He literally HELD my hand through it all and he became my BFF. I seen Dr. Alex and she kept it so real with me about my diagnosis and made me feel great she's also a gorgeous! I came back for my second visit which was the procedure date and it was amazing from the time I sat in the chair to the time I left I felt good! Dr. Alain is 30 and is great as an oral surgeon!

I fell in love with him literally while on the table with laughing gas! If I could recommend a dental office to anyone in the world this is the office to go to! I'm willing to fix all my teeth with this office. THANK YOU SO MUCH DENTAL EXCELLENCE

The front desk staff and some of the dentist are nice but the Dr. who did my root canal was not honest. He kept adding services at the last minute. What was supposed to be 900 dollars worth of work ended costing 2300. He would come into the room and say "You need a lot of work". Leave for 10 minutes and then say 'you need another root canal'.

I explained I was only financially budgeted for the tooth that was being treated. He then insisted I need a crown. Why would I get a crown when I need a root canal? I asked if he could open the tooth up and make sure and just give me a filling until I could afford to come back. He left again coming back minutes later now insisting I needed more work other than the root canal on other teeth.

All this in the midst of him doing the original work. I felt like I was in a bidding war for my mouth. 3 stars was because the work he did do was decent work. Tooth looks good and is painless. The other staff were friendly. I don't like this up-selling in the midst of the work. I've decided to prioritize getting honest work from other dentist.

I want to know what I need before I'm under the drill. PS, I talked him down to a filling from a root canal as he said I had a cavity. It took him 2 minutes to do and he said he didn't get to the whole tooth because he didn't want to "hurt" me. As if I hadn't just had a painless root canal. He then insisted I needed to come back right away.

Obviously I'm not left doubting he did anything about the cavity at all and simply added a new filling on top of the old. I hope a new dentist confirms he at least did what he at least said he did.

I truly don't know where to start. After coming from another dentist's office that scarred me from the dentist (saying I had 8 cavities and a root canal-which I had ended up spending a fortune on), I was so hesitant to go to a new place for a second opinion when my old place said I needed emergency wisdom teeth surgery because they were filled with cavities.

Upon coming here they were all so kind and welcoming. The dentist assured me I did not need emergency surgery and showed me what cavities actually look like. He let me know that my teeth were completely fine and that old dentists office was simply trying to meet a quota. Ever since, I have been coming to Arlington Dental Excellence. I've never left a dentists office feeling so happy than I do when I leave here.

Upon my most recent visit, I'm newly engaged, and all the doctors and nurses came to congratulate me. They asked me questions about it and truly care about their patients. They are all so kind and professional and I'm so happy to have found them!

Our daughter went to this practice for a cleaning and whitening. We were thoroughly pleased with her treatment. Everyone from the front desk staff to the Assistants to the dentist always interacted in an efficient, positive, friendly, professional manner. They efficiently handled dental insurance and never tried to convince her that she needed to have extra work done that wasn't necessary the way some other practices have done.

So I also hate the dentist. Who doesn't? So this is my second time here and I must say the staff is super nice, friendly and outgoing. They make me feel comfortable and are so professional and clean. They make sure that when your being cleaned they cover as much as possible your top. They also provide sunglasses type glasses to cover your eyes from the light above and any splashage that may happen. I highly recommend this place. I love it and feel very comfortable.

Dr. Layth was able to save a tooth from having a root canal. He also was able to place a crown on an existing root canal I had done a year ago (I should've gone to him a year ago for that too, he probably would've saved it) done by my old dentist. I like to see real before and after photos from fellow yelpers in the area so here I am! You can see my tooth was turning grey.

You can also see the perfect color match and shape on the crown. I'm super happy! Let's start with my experience with this practice. Booking the appointment was a breeze. Even though they have many patients and run a busy schedule, once I explained my case that posed some urgency, they were able to fit me in that same week! The office is clean and the decor was interesting to look at.

They have a glass display cabinet with antique dentistry tools. It's very unique and different, unlike many up scale offices with the huge glass vase centerpiece of marbles and rocks but no coat hanger :/. Really puts you at ease to see an office so dedicated to it's specialty and patients. Then there's the staff. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. There's nothing worse than a receptionist that speaks in a monotone fashion and asks you abruptly to sign in and take a seat as soon as you walk in. Here, as you step in, they greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome.

You are never rushed, they walk you through every step, from signing in, to sitting you down in the patient chair. Lastly the price was just right for me. Not super low, where you feel the procedure might be questionable. And not super high where I would have to sell a left kidney - but right in the middle. Affordable.

After having a great dentist back home in California for most of my life I was hesitant to find a good one out here.so I let my wife do the work. Haha She needed some minor work done and found this dentist. Instantly we were impressed with their level of professionalism, care and overall customer service. They actually listened to what my wife needed and set up a plan for her that would not affect our wedding which was a few months after.

Fast forward and it's time to go back in. They remembered our names, who we were and couldn't stop asking about the wedding and how we were doing. It's a family business and they are all amazing. We can't stress that enough. From the front desk to Ali (son - dental tech) to Dr. Layth and the others working there, they actually want to help you and not crush you in expenses.

They walk you through exactly what needs to be done and don't try to swindle you out of unnecessary things you don't need or explain why your last dentist might have gave you an incorrect diagnosis. As for making you feel comfortable they are pros at this. I'm not sure many people enjoy the dentist but they make it as stress-free as possible.

They also have TVs in each room so that's a nice distraction. My wife and I are currently in the middle of getting dental work done so I'll update once we are all done in a few months with our progress. I have heard they do a teeth whitening deal off Groupon but I haven't looked into that and haven't got it done so unfortunately I can't speak on that.

He did note that a bridge that was done on my teeth needed repair.

I had came back for the repair and again, excellent service! Since I know that the teeth did not have any nerves I opted out of novocaine. He said, "You're a tough cookie." Well I knew I didn't have any nerves in the teeth so why bother. He's not there to take your money he's there to provide you with optimal dental health. I mean he's so charismatic I feel like he's family. I love this place!!!!

Love Dr. Layth and the team at Arlington Dental Excellence! They are efficient, thorough and friendly, explaining everything as they go. Nowhere else have I had a better explanation of what my x-rays show. And extra bonus, Nowhere else have I had a selection of fluoride paste flavors (get chocolate mint!).

I went to Arlington Dental excellence for the first time about three months ago and they came recommended from a friend. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years and I was speechless by their level of care and Dr. Layth attention to details. We won't get into details but I needed enough for work for me to be there once a week and never did i feel in pain. Arlington Dental Excellence was the quintessential example of what an experience at the dentist should be: quick, efficient, and not uncomfortable. Dr. Layth efficiently cleaned my teeth and checked for any abnormalities with the use of X rays and an exam. He assessed and listened to all of my concerns such as grinding my teeth, past fillings, and TMJ.

He also took the time to carefully show me how to effectively floss under the bridge of my permanent retainer and gave me samples so I could maintain my personal dental care and prevent more issues. As a young person who is still experienced with sitting in the dentist's chair, I appreciate dentists who do not try to lure my lack of money by filling nonsense in my brain about how I need extensive X rays, mouth guards, or Invisalign because some of my bottom teeth are moving forward as a result of a permanent retainer. I felt like the job was done the way it should be and I left with a smile that was perpetuated by satisfaction and a thorough cleaning.

I recently became a patient at Arlington Dental Excellence and I could not be happier with my decision! Dr. Layth and his entire team / family are great! When I first contacted the office, they were very accommodating with my busy schedule and provided several appointment options. I've visited the office a few times since and have always received top-notch service. My most recent visit was for a tooth extraction, which as you can imagine, didn't sound fun at all! Dr. Layth took the time to address all of my concerns and made me feel 100% better about having the procedure done. I absolutely hate going to the dentist. With that said, Dr, Layth and his team makes going to the dentist bearable. They are absolutely amazing to deal with and they know what they are doing. They are very accommodating with your schedule and extremely professional both on the phone and in person. The office itself is very clean and welcoming. The absolute best dentist practice ive ever been to! Everyone is very welcoming and the practice is very clean and has the most talented group of dentists i've ever seen who are very personable and care about each and every patient. I came here on a recommendation from my mom and I'm so glad that I did. Dr. Ghanim and his staff are so professional yet when I go I feel like a part of a family. Dr. Ghanim explains everything and makes visiting the dentist a pretty pleasant experience. I have recommended him without hesitation to others and will continue to do so.

Not being a fan of going to the dentist, I was quickly put at ease by the entire team at Arlington Dental Excellence. From the front desk staff, to the hygienists to the Dr, I felt comfortable and could easily discuss my concerns and get a response to all my questions and issues. I'm very pleased with their kindness and professionalism. And on top of that, they were amazing taking care of my 4 month old while I was getting my teeth cleaned! Couldn't ask for better service all around.
