URBN Dental is an elite experience. Although the power was out (A good portion of Midtown lost) for my original appointment this morning, they got back to me to reschedule for the same day. Once I was in the chair I got to set the mood by choosing my tunes for the room. Jorge was very attentive and informative when it came to my cleaning. He made sure I understood what was going on with my mouth and what I need to do to improve my situation. He was also pretty insightful on the current state of Hip-Hop which led to some good conversation.

I had a fantastic experience in a clean and organized dental office. Not only were we greeted as soon as we entered the door, the care given was fast and quality. I appreciated the professionalism, how they listened with and provided an explanation. I could not believe I was able to get same day booking for an emergency. Additionally, the front office team was able to verify my insurance quickly.

I had the best experience at URBN Dental! Super easy check in process coordinated through text and a very knowledgeable and considerate staff. Jorge and Jasmine (?) assisted me throughout my appointment and were an absolute delight! They did imaging, a deep cleaning, multiple fillings, and a night guard scan efficiently and never left me waiting. When I had some difficulty with the numbing agents, they brought me water, a lavender washcloth, and gave me as many breaks as I needed. I would absolutely recommend URBN! I'm so happy I found them.

Dr. Golik is a wonderful dentist. I have been apprehensive about going to the dentist for years. However, his patience, kindness, and ability to explain what he is going to do is extraordinary. He takes his time. He's professional and gentle. Most important, he does not hurt and the work he has done for me has been beautiful. I'm very happy with the results. I can't even remember the last time I was happy with a dentist. He's the best.

I'm pregnant & had my 3 year old with me. I really like the fact they double shielded me throughout my X-rays & were very careful with me. They were so sweet to my daughter they took her upfront gave her snacks even played with her throughout my procedure Jorge was my hygienist & performed my deep clean. He mentioned I may be in pain but NOPE he was so steady & careful he did such a great job I honestly feel way better & have zero pain! Overall satisfied. I got more information, tips, & advice on how to better care for my teeth here than at my other dental office. Thank you

I've been coming here since they opened and they're always super kind and really fast and, most importantly, they're damn good. If I'm spending a bunch of time under a drill, I want it to be worth it and it this was. A thorough cleaning from Jorge, who remember details about my family and made sure I was doing well throughout the cleaning. Afterward I had an exam by Dr A.J., who was great at explaining what he saw to me and made recommendations without being pushy. Abby at the front desk was also wonderful and helpful too. All-in-all, I had as good of an experience at the dentist as you can hope for and even though my husband and I moved across town last year, we are going to continue to come here.

I'm proud of my smile and I can thank the staff here at URBN dental uptown. A few things changed since I had my first procedure in 2019 though, so it was a slight learning curve for me on the appointment process Checkin & Arrival After booking the appointment, you also need to confirm 'Yes' via text reminder when they follow up to reconfirm your appointment - otherwise, it will get canceled.
I didn't know and just thought to walk in during my appointment time. All good though they were understanding when it happened and just re-booked me. The patient forms work a bit differently (now, you do all the paperwork on your phone before you come upstairs). It takes a few minutes, so you'd probably need to arrive slightly earlier than you'd think. There's a temp check just to make sure you're not running a fever: all pretty standard stuff.
Appointment I had a deep cleaning done and the numbing part is the toughest. If you need to book a deep cleaning, try booking after lunch since you're not supposed to chew while numb. Dr. Kyunglim was gentle (and quick - THANK YOU) to get me numbed. Kim was my hygienist this time, and she was pleasant, thorough, and did a great job. She rocks!
My hygiene could use a lot of improvement, and she is always encouraging and doesn't make me feel guilty. Payment Maria is always been amazing with any questions and concerns I've had. I'm thankful for her helping me get payments set up, and doing things to make sure insurance is filed correctly. I have great insurance, but she also ensures there's never a problem. Highly recommend! A coworker told me about it and I'm grateful she did. Jasmin did a great job of making me feel comfortable from the start as she took pictures of my teeth. They were able to walk me through the process thoroughly and explain why things were a certain way when it came to my teeth. Jorge answered all my questions and helped advise ways I could prevent different things when it came to taking care of my teeth also.
The dentist himself was very informative. He gave me advise that made me only wish I came in sooner! Overall everyone was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Again, I highly recommend and am thankful I was referred to URBN Dental Midtown.

It's an oddity to say I enjoy going to the dentist, but it's true! This place is the absolute best. Personable, welcoming, and just a great environment and vibe. Jorge did a massive in depth cleaning tor me today with no pain and the time sailed by. I have a lot of work to do and I'm so happy I found these guys to take care of it.

I found URBN Dental on Yelp and the beginning of my visit was very consistent with their Yelp reviews. I arrived on time at 3pm and never even took a seat in the waiting area. Once I checked in they immediately took my temp, gave me hand sanitizer and walked me back to the room. Once there, the assistant was literally standing at the chair waiting on me.
Within seconds I was already having my blood pressure checked and being prepped for x-rays. I then saw the Hygienist, Dentist and then spoke with someone to go over my treatment plan, insurance and cost. We agreed to start with a deep cleaning that day so I was told they would be in to start shortly. A few minutes later the admin comes in to tell me they wont have enough time to do my cleaning so they can either do half and I can come back for the other half or I can just come back to have my entire mouth done at once.
I initially didn't think anything of it and made an appointment to come back the following week. But the more I thought about it the more it just didn't sit well. I'd initially booked the appointment for 4pm and someone texted to say they needed to move me up to 3pm because all new patient appointments take 2 hours and they close at 5pm.
Then they move me up to 3pm and that still isnt enough time to be treated. Also I was kind of bothered with the fact that they couldn't be bothered to stay late to do my cleaning but had no issue burning up my time to drag me back in for another visit. I mean this is more time I have to take off work and more time out of my day to come back for something that I scheduled to be done that day.
The whole thing implies our time is more valuable than yours and thats not 100. I also had to pay a $100 deposit to book the second appointment which was odd because their website didn't require any deposit when I booked the initial appointment. I cant stress enough how professional and knowledgable they seem to be but time management and consistent policy need to be addressed because I cant be taking off time double time every time I need to be seen. My time is valuable too.

I've always had fears of going to the dentists since growing up but urban dental made sure I was comfortable every step of the way! The staffs were really sweet and nice. They explained to me my treatment plans up front so I didn't have to worry about anything. I loved that they took before and after pictures to show me the work they've done. I definitely recommend urban dental!

It's been YEARS since I've been to a dentist office. Mostly bc I get really bad anxiety and my last experience was a nightmare. Jasmine, Jorge, AJ, and Alicia made me feel welcomed from the second I walked through the door. Such a sweet, caring, and knowledgeable staff. I can tell they really enjoy what they do and only want the best for my teeth! I have my first deep cleaning appt next week and for once in my life I'm not dreading it. Phew! I know they'll take good care of me. Highly recommend!

So, I'm going to start this review off by saying i usually HATE going to the dentist. URBN Dental totally changed my feeling on that this morning. Not only were they very kind, but they also were very thorough and truly explained everything to me. They lay out the prices of everything for you after a consultation and some x-rays/pictures (what your insurance covers and doesn't), so there aren't any surprises at the end. The atmosphere is great and calming. And, it genuinely seemed like they cared, which is hard to find. I definitely recommend going :)

I was told I needed a "deep cleaning" and after paying a significant amount of money, TWO different doctors on separate occasions were both completely appalled at the quality of this "deep cleaning." After having to pay, yes, again for the same procedure at a different location, I realized the procedure felt much different this time around. Finally, the dentist at URBN was if not annoyed, uninterested to answer any of my questions and delivered short and dismissive responses. I highly recommend find a different place or at the very least, a second opinion. This is a shoddy business dressed up in the facade of a seemingly nice office, but don't be deceived: the service will fall short in every respect.

WOW! I actually enjoyed going to the dentists office for the first time in my life lol. I came in for a general cleaning. Andrea was my dental hygienist and she was fantastic. This was probably the best experience I've ever had with a cleaning. She is highly skilled at her craft and also very communicative about each step. The dentist was also very pleasant. Dr. G is AMAZING! After moving to houston I've had to deal with several money hungry dentist only in it for the money which placed a fear in me and kept me running from the dentist for a few years, this is NOT how Dr. G does things. I can tell that he genuinely cares about my teeth and I'm so happy I found him! He laid out the perfect treatment plan for my needs and budget.
He has pulled 3 wisdom teeth for me so far with minimal pain to none and without anesthesia. Also, Staff at office are always friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend him to anyone struggling to find a good dentist.

Just had our first cleaning and had a great experience! They were able to clearly communicate what they saw in the exam and effectively and kindly answer any questions we had. They were also frequently asked if we were comfortable and doing alright. Their equipment seemed to be very high quality and gave the most comfortable experience I've had at a dentist appointment and that's saying a lot since the dentist gives me high anxiety. Highly recommend!

I got an emergency appointment this past Saturday for severe tooth that once X-rays were done; confirmed to be an infected fractured crown. The team made sure that they had my insurance and payment for visit. I promptly seen by Dr Jiman Nelson and released with prescriptions for Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen. I immediately go to my pharmacy by my home to find out an hour later when I return to pickup that they would not fill due to incomplete information on prescription.the NPI or DEA #.
The pharmacy couldn't get in touch with them and although on website after hours you can make an appointment; they can't get in touch with a provider the gave you a script in an 'emergency' situation. I left my contact information and wasn't followed up with until Monday morning. Unacceptable

Have to leave a great review after the treatment I received here. I scheduled an emergency root canal online Sunday evening for Monday morning. I had sooo much pain over the weekend after starting a crown procedure on Friday afternoon. Anyway, after taking x-rays, the Dr realized she could not do the root canal - it was too complicated. Her staff called about 10 specialists for me and booked an apt for me the next morning.
Above and beyond service! I had the root canal done and also made a review for that Dr (he was great!). Really appreciate the extra effort put forth by this team to get me taken care of when they could have just as easily just shown me the door.

This dental office is Amazing! The front office staff is so friendly and welcoming. My hygienist Andrea was Amazing as well. She took time to explain and recommend improvements to my daily routine in a very personal way. Making me feel comfortable and special. I explained to her that I had some previous dental fears and she was very empathetic to my needs. I really appreciate her and I will definitely return to this office.

Terrible experience! I went for a cleaning and they suggested me to get a root canal! For the root canal, they did not have the equipment to take X-rays. During the procedure the pain was terrible! After the procedure, I suffered 1 and a have months of excruciating pain! taking antibiotics and 1.600 ibuprofen daily! They said that I needed to go to a specialist because they did not have the equipment and did not know what was happening.
I had to go to a specialist in the middle of the pandemic and they fix it! My root canals were infected! They had to do them all over again and found another canal! I called for reimbursement of my money! Terrible experience as well, the lady at the front desk treat me badly. Don't go!

Today was my first visit at this location, and I will definitely be back here. The office is clean, modern, and beautiful! I felt safe coming here even with COVID. My hygienist Angela was amazing. I learned a few new things from her that I've never been told by any other office. She was very thorough with my cleaning, but I never had any discomfort and she was great with explaining everything she was doing. I really appreciate that I was in and out within an hour, and never had to wait. Highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

DR. ANGELA IS THE BEST! And she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! Also the doctor that does the X-Rays, actually I have nothing bad to say about anyone! The front desk lady cared so much about me filling my cavities before I leave on Saturday that she helped me figure it out! Great first time experience. Office is really nice and I appreciated all of the preventative measures they took in response to Covid-19. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone including the dentist took the time to explain. They also made sure to give me the opportunity to ask questions. The worst dental experience ever! Don't get scammed from this place! I wrote a previous review and I just read there response last week. For what ever reason they where not able to find me in there system. If i signed up for there treatment that they wanted me to do on me, which cost $4000! I bet you they would of found me in there system real fast! Crazy!
To make a long story short I went to get a 2nd opinion and they agreed with me that I didn't need it. If i singed up for this SCAM i would of been $4000 short. I went for my checkup at a real dental office, which is honest and they told me that my teeth looked fine without that $4000 procedure! Please don't let this place take your money! I noticed reading other reviews about this place on yelp that other people ran across this same scam at this place. Don't let them steal your hard earned money!

Review for the Uptown Location: They are the friendliest, most thorough, user-friendly dentist's office I have ever been to anywhere in the world. The front desk was terrific and walked through insurance and payments; Angela is by far the best hygienist I have ever met and Dr Bridgett was thorough and answered all questions. I had to get a Periodontal procedure done that Angelo led. About as painless as it could possibly be and really through. I am actually going to look forward to me next dentist appointment!

I was so impressed with this place, and they are without a doubt the best dentist office I've ever been to. The entire staff truly cares about their patients. Everyone greets you as though you're a friend, not just a customer. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the rest of my appointment. The dental office is beautiful. My teeth were hurting and I was really worried about the visit since I have low pain tolerance. I booked an appointment with Dr. Nguyen as a recommendation from my hair stylist. Dr. Nguyen really helped me with my problem and I didn't have to wait long to be seated. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen's dental office to anyone in the Houston, Texas area.

Highly Recommended! Great Dentist! I had my Invisalign treatment with him and have to say his level of training and how meticulous he is.. is pretty impressive. I am a technology guy and am interested in all things technology. It was the first time I have ever seen xrays of my own teeth on a big screen, this office impressed me with the level of detail and transparency that was given to me about my dental health.

I have to admit I am very afraid of going to the dentist which is why I haven't gone in a few years. But I decided to go Dr. Nguyen after I had some pain on my tooth. He told me I had a cavity and was able to take care of it the same day. The injection he gave to numb my tooth was painless and the whole experience was wonderful. I cannot recommend him enough!

I recently switched a different dentist and I have found Dr. David Nguyen through my online research. I had my deep cleaning and crown work at Urban Dental. Overall, the office staffs are very helpful with appointments reminder and follow up. Dr. David Nguyen took his time to answer all my questions. I don't feel rush. Dr. Nguyen took his time and have my dental work done throughly. He is young, fun and professional.

Great experience! Had an infection and needed extraction but my usual dentist was out of town. Expected difficulty finding someone post Harvey and a holiday weekend. Found URBN Dental and Dr Nguyen on Yelp. They were able to see me immediately. They were very efficient and got me in and out. Dr Nguyen explained everything very well. Went to check out URBN Dental after not seeing a dentist for a while. Dr. Nguyen provided a very honest and thorough assessment of my overall oral health and presented a treatment plan emphasizing the issues that are more health sensitive and need to be addressed.
