Digital Dentistry At Southpoint

After of dealing with two adjoining root canals and crowns and finally getting up the nerve to go to another dentist. I was shocked to find out by looking at the x-rays and talking to my new dentist that a large piece of cement was left between the crowns by Digital Denistry. They never felt right, and my calls to the office never resolved anything. An oral surgeon actually gave me basic care tips to get by for years.

But now I am faced with bone loss. I have to have one of the root canals extracted (and keep in mind this had a crown on it). This was thousands of dollars and best we can figure out is was because of shotty work and poor communication from the office. So it's a very expensive tooth extraction and plus bone grafting plus a new implant if the wallet allows.

All because of bad workmanship and skill from this dentist and a less than kind customer service oriented or poor business manager/front desk help. I will say the rest of the staff was kind and friendly, but that doesn't pay the bills. I can, in no way, recommend this business and probably should have reported them. Sure mistakes happen. If so, do everything you can to fix them not dismiss patients.

This is a great place to go for dental care. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I am probably the person with the most dental anxiety on the planet. Friends raved to me about Digital Dentistry years ago, and I still put off going. When I finally called, the woman answering the phone really made me feel welcome. in a super professional way. They were all so professional and yet so warm and kind. I was able to completely relax under the care of the dental hygienist, which is not usual for me.

I know! Even a cleaning freaks me out. But not here. I met the dentist briefly and had a great conversation. about teeth! I would say it was a GREAT experience! My husband was shocked when I came home from the dentist happy rather than saying, "I absolutely must take a nap now. We can talk later." He made his own appointment the next day. Thanks to all of you at Digital Dentistry for being so good at your jobs AND being so kind. See ya in 6 months!

I am very scared to go the dentist. Unreasonable, maybe.but real to me. Kim made me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me. Dr Schlotterer has a calming influence and nice chair side manner. I will return just not to soon. LOL!

Been going to this Dentist for over 30 years! They are honest trustworthy people. You will not be disappointed. You will not be talked into anything you do not need. Nor will they trick you like some do. They care about you and are so fun to talk to. They are my second family that I get to see every 6 months. I love them all.

As usual they are extremely friendly and the work is professional with outstanding results. I am never disappointed on how I am treated. I would recommend Digital Dentistry to anyone

I have been a patient at Digital Dentistry for amost 20 years and have always received great service from Dr Schlotterer and his team. I recently had crown put on and was very satisfied. Staff is always nice and professional! I can't imagine not having this team for my dental needs.

I had my quarterly cleaning yesterday morning (I like to try and go 4 times a year, don't always make it). Anyway can't say enough about how great the team is. Everyone is happy, helpful and knowledgable. I've been a patient since I moved to Durham several years ago. Strongly recomend this team if you're looking for a new Dental Practice. I just became a new patient at Digital Dentistry at Southpoint and I gotta say the name is accurate. They have all the latest dental equipment, it's very high tech. Not only do they have high end tools, they also provide a service I've never experienced at a dentist, or anywhere for that matter. They perform a check for oral cancer. I was surprised and impressed.

And it was nice to know they didn't find any warning signs of cancer.

Dr. Gary is amazing! I really like the facility he has established, it’s always clean, and accommodating. He is patient and thorough which I think is so important. I had an emergency and received a same day appointment and had a tooth extraction with not much pain. I’ve found my new dentist!

Was able to get into see Gary this morning for a sensitive tooth issue! he took X-rays and was able to explain what was going on so I could understand. He didn't even jump to conclusions with major procedures like a root canal. I am so relieved to have found a Dr who cares!

Good work by some great folks. Dr Gary Schlotterer has been my dentist since he graduated from LSU and started his practice in Durham. I will go to no one else.
