Rejuvenation Dentistry

This is the best dental office I've ever been to! The staff is amazing and SO kind. They will take very good care of you. I actually like going to the dentist now.

I was referred to Dr. Curatola by my naturopathic doctor, who had recently heard him speak at a conference, in hopes he could help my daughter virtually, because we live in California. The appointment was for her to have a scan done in California and have them send it to Dr. Curatola to make sure she didn't have any pockets of infection in her mouth.

Upon making the initial appointment, I requested a referral for the scan (which I never received). The scan company sent a referral request to Dr. Curatola's office, in which they never responded to, nor returned any calls to them. The day of the scan I had to rush to get through to Dr. Curatola's office (which isn't easy) for them to send the request for a scan (in California they won't do the scan unless a doctor signs for it).

The scan was competed and sent along with all my hard copies of medical CD's of previous scans to the office. We had our virtual appointment with Dr. Curatola, who was very kind, but referred us to a oral surgeon. He also suggested a sleep study from his coworker Dr. Raio. I already expressed my thoughts of no sleep apnea from my daughter, but agreed to rule out everything.

When your daughter has been sick for 2 years and no real diagnosis, you become desperate. The day of my scheduled virtual conference with Dr. Raio, I waited on hold for 45min and when no one came for the zoom I called the office to only find out he was running hours late and to log back on in about an hour. 45 min on hold is a long time when you've got 3 young kids. $350 later for the sleep study, my daughter showed no issues. Then, as requested after the sleep study, I (like a good patient) returned the sleep device back to the office.

After my cash of $600 to Dr. Curatola and $350 for a sleep study, I pretty much walked away with an expensive referral for another doctor. Months later, I contacted Dr. Curatola's office for the return of my medical cd's I sent, there were several attempts to get in touch with someone before getting a response of "I can't locate them, but I'll get back to you after looking." After SEVERAL other times reaching out to them, turns out they lost the CD's.

Long story short, in my opinion, it was a lot of money spent for nothing in return. The doctors and staff were very nice and courteous, but they've got some organizational skills to work on, as well as patient costs to consider. Like I mentioned previously, my daughter has been sick for 2+ years and we've seen all different doctors and this was by far the most expensive consult we've paid for!

Love this Biologic practice! They are extremely knowledgeable and caring. My whole family comes to the office for all our dental needs.

Gerry is truly one of a kind. Not only has he pioneered an entirely new form of dentistry (called Holistic/Biological) that caters to those that care about their health, he is also an artist with an incredible attention to detail. The care and level of excellence he puts into his work is unlike anything I've seen in all my years going to traditional dentists. Having a new smile after working with Gerry feels like a transformational experience. I am very grateful to have come across Rejuvenation Dentistry.

I've had three exceptionally beneficial experiences at Rejuvenation Dentistry. First was getting all my silver/mercury amalgams out a year ago. The second are the teeth cleanings by Courtney who is thorough but extremely gentle and sensitive. The most extraordinary experience however has been the DNA appliance which I've been wearing for the past three months.

As a life-long sufferer of sinusitis I never would have believed that wearing the device for just one month would have such a positive effect. Previously, I would wake up year round either partially or completely congested. I would irrigate and try different things but it never completely went away. Well it's now been two months that I have no congestion or runny nose in the morning or any other time of day for that matter. btw - my very high caliber Manhattan ENT said that I simply had a chronic sinus infection that nothing could cure except possibly an operation to correct the deviated septum.

Well if anyone would like to learn about a possibly safer and better alternative, then speak to Dr Raio and look into the DNA appliance. It has been a blessing. After over 50 years of suffering and regular courses of antibiotics, my sinusitis appears to be a thing of the past.

Dr. Curatola and his staff are excellent and are experts in their respective fields. They are very friendly and thorough.

Dr. Grecco (one of the other dentists that works at Dr. Curatola's practice) caused major trauma to my tooth with rough drilling that hit a nerve. I have since been suffering with a misaligned bite and ongoing problems with this tooth and now it needs to be extracted. Please do not go to this practice. I know the promise of a biological/holistic dentist sounds great.

Instead you will find that they are not careful or considerate of patient needs or tooth preservation, but are money driven and seeking ways to push further procedures. Above all, they will cost you your health.

Dr. Curatola is such an arrogant man. I love the idea of holistic dentistry, but his practice is atrocious and his manners border on illegal. Last summer June 2020 - coming out of peak Covid time in NY, I went to his Hamptons office about tooth extraction. I had seen him in the city before for a consult and felt decent enough with him. But when seeing him in The Hamptons though it was a completely different story. First, he was 3 hours late to my appointment.

I was unmasked obviously bc I was at the dentist and while I was lying vulnerable in his chair, he kept taking HIS mask off and telling me masks were BS. While there is a debate about masks' effectiveness, he had no right to take his off while looking in my mouth just to what-- prove a point? As a power play? I'm not quite certain why as dentists usually wear masks anyway, even in non-Covid times.

He told me if I got Covid it would just be a light cold for me and wouldn't be serious. How on earth would he know? In fact, I had already had Covid and was sick for 3 weeks but this was the beginning and we didn't know if you could get it again. But that's not even the worst of it. The worst came when he used his dirty gloves in my mouth.

He had been injured with some leg issue and had a walker or leg scooter thing. He had his gloved hands all over it and instead of changing his gloves or washing his hands he put his visibly dirty gloves into my mouth before I had a chance to realize what was happening. A couple of days later I ended up getting a very serious bowel infection that I had had once before many, many years ago.

It has been over a year and have still not been able to eradicate this infection from my system yet despite being on rounds and rounds of antibiotics. This is a gut infection you pick up from hospitals and health care facilities or from taking too many antibiotics (which I had not taken in years at that point). Dr. Curatola's office was the only place I'd been since I was quarantining for 3 months prior.

This is the only place I had been and I had not had this problem for years. I believe that this man transferred an incredibly dangerous bacteria to me via his dirty gloves that had been on his walker/leg scooter device. Now I have been sick with this awful disease for 14 months and I know I'm far from the only one who has suffered long-term consequences because of his negligence and arrogance. I have spoken with another person who was so deeply harmed by his oral surgery that she was disabled. Straight from her mouth. Run, far away from this awful man.

Dr Gerry Curatola is an artist of Denistry. As a child I has bad dental work and I paid the price. You will never meet a Dentist that cares so much about his patients. I realize that you get what you pay for. He is helping me and extending the best payment plan. I know I will have the best smile in the world. Thank you Dr Gerry. You are the best.

I just had my first visit to Rejuvenation last week and I was so impressed! It was by far the best experience I've had going to the dentist. Dr. Grecco is amazing. so knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. and Cortney did a great job with my teeth cleaning. I also decided to do their teeth whitening procedure -- the first time I've ever had my teeth whitened -- and the results exceeded my expectations! I've got a lot more confidence in my smile and can't recommend it more. After jumping around in terms of dentists for years, I'm so happy to have found Rejuvenation!

I have been only coming to Rejuvenation Dentistry for a little under a year now, but I can certainly attest that their whole office cares a great deal about each patient. I always feel at home and extremely taken care of whenever I'm there and whomever I see. Bria at the front desk is inviting and friendly and always offers great conversation and a beverage. Cortney the hygienist, is so warm with such a kind soul and really listens to every question, concern, comment etc you may have while taking the time to explain and answer everything.

Doctor Grecco is extremelyyy thorough and does exceptional work. She is definitely a perfectionist in the best of ways! I've even had the pleasure of meeting with Doctor Curatola who is not only extraordinarily knowledgeable about everything and anything, but his bedside manner and wit makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The eyes may be the windows to your soul, but your mouth is the pathway to the start of your overall health. I highly recommend everyone at Rejuvenation! Xo

UPDATED REVIEW: I am updating my original review. While I originally had some mishaps with scheduling an appointment, Dr. Curatola and Kim were very responsive to the situation and went beyond the call of duty to ensure I had a good experience. I appreciate everything they were able to do and I look forward to utilizing the services of Rejuvenation Dentistry in the future. I really appreciate Dr. Curatola's knowledge and expertise.

I really wanted to like this place because I wanted a holistic practice to take care of my dental health but this place only cares about money. They truly don't care about you as a patient and they will charge you ANYTHING as long as they can get money out of you then they will put a smile on their faces. Be aware. I went there for a few times and aside of the fact that every single procedure is insanely expensive, I went a couple times to check on a tooth that was causing me pain.

I was seen my DR Crecco who misdiagnosed me twice. I went back literally the day after because I was in excruciating pain and I asked to be seen by another dentist who just touched my tooth to diagnose me properly. They had the audacity to charge me for this session even though it was their mistake and when I asked for a refund, they disappeared. I contacted them multiple times but they purposely don't return my emails not addressed my concern about the refund.

Because of the misdiagnose, I ended up losing my tooth, there was a huge cavity that she didn't address and therefore with time, the cavity reached my nerve and I had to take my tooth out. I lost a tooth and a lot of money and they couldn't care less. This review would have zero star for me. I give one just because they do have an amazing dentist, Alex, who is exceptional at what he does. Still overcharged prices but if you are rich I would definitely go to him for surgeries (he doesn't do regular dentistry).

This is the best dental experience I could have ever dreamed of. Every time I step into the office I feel loved, safe, and cared for. After years of traumatic experiences around my teeth, I was forced to put off very important procedures that were necessary to maintain optimal health. When I finally found Dr. Grecco, I truly felt that my prayers had been answered.

I was able to feel enough trust and confidence with the whole team to move forward with important work that I'd been putting off for years. I recommend this office to everyone I meet, especially those with any tooth related problems or past dental traumas.

Rejuvenation Dentistry is the BEST! I have been a patient there for many years and it only gets better each time I go. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and professional. From my initial consultation with Dr. Grecco to the understanding and experience of extracting two infected root canal teeth with Dr. V to the follow up with the front office staff-I have had the best experience. Rejuvenation Dentistry is leading the pack in biological dental services and helping to heal people. After one year of random health issues I am so deeply grateful to have found my root cause and extremely grateful this practice is part of my personal healing journey.

Dr. Gerald Curatola is by far the WORST dentist! He is completely motivated by greed! His dentistry skills are beyond bad! He and his associates put in implants that were the incorrect size - they were too big for my mouth! They also installed one of implants incorrectly up against another tooth which I will likely eventually need to extract this tooth or have it root canaled.

They also incorrectly extracted a tooth damaging the neighboring teeth. Also when numbing me for the injection to extract a tooth they hit a nerve which is still in discomfort 24/7. The bone grafting material they put in was from a dead person and became badly infected. They have taken no ownership for the damage they have caused me. Beware! Also If you place a negative review on his website it disappears real quick!

I have found this guy has absolutely NO conscience and I've seen a lot of his staff leave / two actually just walked out and NEVER came back as he's a very difficult condescending guy to deal with when things don't go his way! Oh and his toothpaste Revintin turned my teeth yellow!

The name of the game there is money, money, money. I think Kim would chase you down Park Avenue for money. After you've wasted 2 hours in the waiting room and another hour in the treatment room. And that's after waiting a month for an appointment. Very disorganized and unpleasant experience. Starting at the reception desk.

Dr. Curatola and the staff at Rejuvenation Dentistry are incredible. They are helping us with Invisalign and they cured our gingivitis using holistic means. I am so happy I chose them and we fly from Orlando to visit Dr. Curatola because he is worth the trip

Dr. Gerry Curatola and his whole team are an incredible asset to NYC. Science is proving what he has been on the forefront of researching and teaching - that a healthy and robust oral microbiome with it's billions of varied strains of bacteria is essential to the strength of the entire body! The totality of his philosophy and technique works to maintain health by nourishing optimum balance of this microbiome with the latest tools and technology.

This includes everything from laser to regrow bone down to his own exhaustively researched and formulated toothpaste.

And, as if this were not reason enough to make one sing with gratitude and joy, Cortney, one of his Dental Hygienists, works with the dexterity of a top athlete and gives the most thorough yet gentle cleaning I have ever had!

Talk about an enjoyable dental experience. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make your appointment comfortable from the moment you step inside. As a medical professional myself i know how crucial it is to have support staff that are happy to come to work and assist the doctors and at Rejuvenation they seem like a close knit family. My cleaning with Courtney was top knotch, the most thorough ive had which included strawberry lip balm to keep my lips from drying out.

Then Dr. Jason Alster came in for my checkup. He takes pride in doing a careful exam on your teeth and is super personable. I trust him implicitly with my dental hygeine moving forward and excited to be his patient.

I had seen Dr. Curatola on a few occasions.on one of these occasions Dr. curatola gave me a root canal, a very painful and very expensive root canal.he has a very heavy hand when drilling and I suffered through the whole procedure, at one point he left the room, i thought just for a minute or two and he'd be back, but it was for about a half an hour I laid there with all sorts of equipment in my mouth and not able to call out, so I sort of grunted for help since I was having trouble swallowing since it was too long a time to lay there for an extended period of time.the root canal he preformed was a $2500 failure.

I had to get the tooth extracted, even though Dr. Curatola said he could save the tooth with the horrible root canal he did.the stories go on and on with him. Tragic chain of events one worse than the other. and even today 5 years later im still suffering. It's a pity and a crime that Park ave Curatola is getting away with cruel and shabby dental work. Patient BEWARE.

I have been a patient of Dr Gerry's for a few years now and he has always given me the best treatment and service. He has a great skill set in dentistry as well as being incredibly personable. I'm happy to be a patient of his and he keeps all my dentistry needs quick and simple.

I came in pain with a broken tooth that originally had a mercury filling. Dr. Curatola saved my tooth with a crown that was completed within an hour and a half and used his proprietary protocol for safe mercury removal.

I had been told I needed a root canal or possibly an extraction and am so glad that I went to see Dr. C for a second opinion. I loved his holistic approach and his use of advanced technology. He is truly an expert practitioner.

(trust me, you do not want to see the before photos) Everyone at Rejuvination made my visit a pleasure: a relaxed, welcoming and hospitable experience for sure. I can't recommend Rejuvination, Dr. Curatola, and Dina enough! Your teeth will thank you!

Very unorganized. Unprofessional assistants, doctor seems to be late all the time. (Patients in the waiting room wouldn't stop complaining about this) walked out without a detailed treatment plan but was pressured into signing up for care credit so the doctor can perform procedures. (Prices were not discussed). His assistant was so loud made me nervous I just don't get a good vibe at this office. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

Smile and the whole world smiles with you! That should be written on the wall in Dr. Curatola's waiting room. He did a masterful job in improving my smile and giving me important tips about maintaining it. I now find myself smiling all the time. In business, a healthy smile can be a distinct advantage. Extremely Frustrated I was a patient at Dr Gerald Curatola's office for the last few years. When I first went to the office I loved the style and appearance. I found the staff to be attentive and courteous. I always waited an hour or two to be seen, but figured I was getting great care so I continued to return. Over the years the staff has changed countless times.

Each time I returned it seemed Dr Curatola would find a "new" crown that needed to be treated. Including one that was done just two years before by him. I began to question certain treatments and was always given a very well thought out explanation. While away on a work trip another crown had come loose. This one was also done by Dr Curatola and after the cap was cemented I needed a root canal(one of many).

I went to my sisters dentist in Los Angeles and was told it had an "open margin" along with a few other things he found. When I returned home I went back to the office only to find yet another complete change in staff. I didn't recognize one person? Although very disappointed and somewhat angry I took a que from his own staff and left after waiting for an hour to be seen. Buyer Beware

Dr. Gerry is a true professional in his field. His knowledge is second to none! His staff is terrific and makes you feel right at home the minute you set foot in his office. My experience was just what I expected, and the final result has been nothing short of spectacular. Since coming here my friends nicknamed me “Hollywood”.

Dr. Curatola and his team of experts are exceptional. From the moment I walk in the door, to having my cleanings with Cortney, to having beautiful painless dentistry by Dr. Curatola. My work is always quick, easy and relaxing in this dental spa. I had an implant and tooth restoration done by Dr. Curatola and I couldn't be any happier.
