Love'em! Smithson Valley Family Dentistry is unbeatable; just saying. I could tell you stories about my childhood dental visits, one where I ran into a nearby church and went AWOL for a good while, but Yelp* isn't the place. So, anyway, I have battle "scars." ha. Dr. Wright is accommodating. About a month ago I had three crowns prepped on the same day because I get 'cancelitis', so I prefer getting as much work done as possible in one appointment.

Such a comfortable experience! Amazing! Talk to them about all the options available to make your chair time as pleasurable as possible. They understand. Fast forward. Yvette fitted my new crowns today --perfect fits-- and my next appointment for cleaning is in October. I highly recommend SVFD, especially for those with cancelitis.

I went because my wife suggested them. I have always had a fear of Dentists. Ive never felt so comfortable, and truly believe the patient comes before the dollar with these folks. Five stars bc I cant give MORE!

My husband and I go to Smithson Valley Dentistry and we could not be happier! Dr. Wright and his staff are very friendly and I never have to wait long before being seen. I think the longest I've ever waited is 5 minutes. The office is also very nice and clean. Another dentist told me that I need a procedure done that would cost me $5,000 so I decided to get a second opinion which is how I started going to SVFD. SVFD was able to fix my problem and it cost me less than $100. I truly appreciate them not trying to get the most money out of me as possible and for fixing the problem. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

My first visit to Smithson Valley Family Denistry and it was wonderful. Very punctual and love the text reminders. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and professional and explained every procedure beforehand. We are new to area and so happy to find a new dentist so close to home!

Wonderful experience, Sarah is the best hygienist. I'm one of those with a bad childhood experience that still causes anxiety, Sarah was gentle, compassionate, I almost forgot I was in a dental chair. Dr Wright is pleasant, listens and works with you on the best plan for your dental health. The front desk staff is extremely pleasant. I'm thrilled to have found a great dental office.

My daughter loves Tammy at Smithson Valley Family Dentistry, and so do I! My daughter has so much anxiety about the dentist- it's been hard to get her to do simple things like cleanings- but SVFD has been amazing! Tammy has made my daughter feel comfortable and safe with every thing done (fillings and cleaning) She takes the extra time to explain and talk all things through to my daughter! We love SVFD!

Dr. Jared Wright and the whole Smithson Valley Dental Team have been AMAZING to us! Helpful, kind, patient and understanding. I take all 4 kids here and they love it. Dr. Wright & his hygienist were incredible with my youngest daughter who has Down Syndrome-our best dental experience by far!

We were referred to Smithson Valley Dentistry from a few mom friends. We were walk ins fresh from another pediatric dentist office upset over the awful experience we had. Tammy was at the front desk and helped schedule my sons appointment. She is so sweet and kind and took the time to comfort my very nervous son. He was seen this past week and it was such a smooth and successful appointment. We are so happy and thankful we found this practice! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist!

We were in need of a new dentist due to relocating to Texas and I had read positive reviews for Smithson Valley Family Denistry (SVFD) online. They were in network with our insurance so we decided to schedule appointments with them. We had a very good and positive first experience with SVFD! The appointment scheduling and patient forms were easy to do online on their website.

Our high school son is on the autistic spectrum and his appointment was the first scheduled. He requires a little extra patience and benefits from someone who will take the time to explain to him the process. Sarah did just that and took excellent care of him! The other front desk staff were very pleasant, helpful, and professional! Based on our experience thus far I can highly recommend SVFD!

Today was my day to go to the dentist for a cleaning. I struggle with post dental migraines from holding my mouth open for so long. But not today! Sarah the hygienist was AMAZING! She was sweet and engaging. She gave me breaks to rest my mouth and has such sweet stories to keep my mind engaged. I finally found my dental office! I have been trying different dentist offices for 5 years! The dentist is nice too! Thanks for your kindness. (BTW: I went in, had a cleaning, and set my next appointment all without a mask! )

The staff were pleasant and you could tell they were happy to be there. Dental hygienists were professional and dedicated to their work. Have never gotten such an in-depth cleaning. The office was up to date and equipment as well. Staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and tells you, "You are in charge ". TVs on walls in every room and. on the ceiling to ensure you are entertained while you are waiting or to take your mind off whatever procedure you are having done.

Not only do they take x-rays, they take photos as well. Doctor puts both X-rays and photos up for viewing, giving you an in-depth understanding about your teeth. Could not ask for a more caring staff. You will not be disappointed if you make Smithson Valley Family Dentist your 'go to' for good teeth care!

Today was just my first visit with Dr. Wright but I was impressed with him and his office staff, as well as, with Tammy. They all made me very comfortable, answered all my questions and were very efficient. I appreciated the reminder texts, too! I am looking forward to getting the dental work I need done in the very near future.

It had been 10 years since I had last been to a dentist. Also I get super nervous and my anxiety starts to kick in. Well today I went in for a cleaning and the ambiance and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The hygienist cleaning my teeth was super friendly and was constantly telling me what she was doing and why and showing me the before. and after and what to do to prevent cavities.

We were also talking about our kids and she was talking to me like she had known me for a very long time. I had the most pleasant experience ever and did not feel any anxiety. I was comfortable and very well taken care of by all the staff. They definitely make you feel cared for and they genuinely want to help you as much as they can. Very satisfied

My first visit was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and it was a quick and easy process to check in the first time as it was automated using an iPad. My hygienist Wendy was great! She was very thorough with my cleaning and made sure everything was perfect before I saw the doctor. Dr. Wright was very friendly and provided me with a lot of detail about the condition of my teeth and gums. I felt like I was in great hands the entire time. The office itself is clean and very modern. I would recommend Smithson Valley Family Dentistry to others.

I am new to the area and I lost a filling. I called Smithson Valley Family Dentistry and had an appointment in just a few days. Tammy was very helpful setting up the appointment. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Yvette took pictures and X-rays. Dr. Wright assessed the took and gave me options and cost immediately. I chose a crown. He prepped the tooth a made impressions for the crown. I was out in under an hour! The procedure was quick and painless. I am so happy to find Smithson Valley Dentistry!

I had a wonderful first visit. The office itself is very nice and clean. The front office staff were welcoming and made you feel right at home. Wendy was an excellent hygienist. Dr. Wright was thorough and professional. They did not try and upsell me on a deep cleaning or frighten me into getting extra services that I didn't need. They were sensible with their treatment plan and made me feel they really had my best interests for my dental health as their priority. I will definitely be using Dr. Wright from here on out and I have already referred him to family!

This is a gem to have close to home. Scheduling was a breeze on their site. Our appointment time was pretty prompt for our first visit and running early (which was great!) for my other child's appointment the next day. Their office is clean, updated and thoughtful with amenities. Our hygienist, Wendy, was so sweet, thorough and quick. She immediately put my youngest at ease for his first dental appointment.

We got to meet Dr. Wright and he did a nice quick check on the kids when Wendy had wrapped up with our little ones. We've moved around the country a lot and would highly recommend this office and staff.

Our son had a toothache and we contacted Dr. Wright to ask for an appointment with very short notice. He was very accommodating and our son received the care he needed. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We're especially grateful for Tammy and how she took the time to explain everything to him. She genuinely cared about him. Dr. Wright is very personable and made us feel comfortable. He's a caring person and we highly recommend him and his staff. Thank you! Two thumbs up!

I found this office online and decided to make an appointment after reading great reviews. I am glad I did because I had a great experience! Very friendly/informative staff, the office is beautiful and very clean.

We brought our 1.5 year old twins in for their first cleaning and it went far better than expected. Wendy was wonderful and gave us some excellent tips for brushing the girls' teeth and wean one of them from her beloved pacifier. It was just a very positive visit from the front door to when we left. Thank you!

My husband actually enjoyed his visit. Staff took their time and the unique way they take x Ray's was way more comfortable. No pressure sales.

They were very professional, timely and most of all gentle! I had my teeth cleaned there yesterday for the first time and my teeth don't hurt today like other places I've been. Also, I didn't get a ton of sales pitches for fluoride treatment and ad dons either. I will definitely be back.

A few months ago we made Smithson Valley Family Dentistry our family dentist. We are 100% satisfied. We couldn't have picked a better family dentist. Our daughter was having some pain in her front teeth so I called and they were able to get her in the same the same day To take a look! The staff along with the doctor are super nice, friendly and welcoming and their office is fabulous. Very clean! Most of all they made my daughter feel comfortable!

What an awesome, comfortable experience!! The office staff, Ms. Tara is so friendly, almost like meeting an old friend! We were then greeted by Dr. Wright's assistant, Ms. Tricia, who gave us a complete tour of the beautiful facility. Dr. Wright's practice is filled with state-of-art electronics pertaining to all aspects of dental care. Dr. Wright was completely through in his examination and explanation of his practice of dental medicine. Looking forward to many years of care!

We just moved to the area and this practice was highly recommended to me by my son's orthodonist's practice manager. (She takes her family here) I had my first appointment today and was very pleased with everything about it. Nice friendly staff, thorough and gentle plaque removal and cleaning. Dr. Wright and Staff were great. My husband and 2 sons will be in over the next few weeks.

Highly recommended SV family dentistry to anyone looking for a great dentist and not one of the franchise multi-dentist operations. Nice to have the traditional style operation where each one truly cares about you experience. We had been going to one of the chain store dentist operations and seemed all they wanted to do was sell you more treatments. Glad we found SV Family Dentistry.

From the first moment I spoke to Tara I was impressed with this practice. She was warm and friendly and incredibly helpful. The rest of the staff follows with professionalism and friendliness. . There is no confusion as to what needs to be done and everything is laid out for you financially as well. No pain during procedures for my kiddo too! Very pleased with this beautiful new office and it’s team!

Dr. Wright & the entire staff are very kind. From booking my appointment to the end of my dental exam/checking out, was wonderful service. Dr. Wright takes time to listen to all concerns and to discuss possible treatments. He is a perfectionist, and my teeth look/feel amazing! The office is gorgeous.

Having been patients of Dr. Wright's in Katy Texas, we were so excited when we moved to San Antonio, that he had opened his practice here. The facility is beautiful and the staff is warm and friendly. Scheduling was easy, my kids loved the Kids Area and tablets to play on in the waiting room, though the wait was so short, they were disappointed to have to leave it.

My son said the building looked like a Model Home, and it does feel cozy, like a house. Our appointments with three kids were thorough and easy and the kids enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and watching movies during their visit.
