Bone GraftBone grafting is often closely associated with dental restorations such as bridge work and dental implants. In the majority of cases, the success of a restoration procedure can hinge on the height, depth, and width of the jawbone at the implant site. When the jawbone associated with missing teeth shrinks, or has sustained significant damage, the implant (s) cannot be supported on this unstable foundation and bone grafting is usually recommended for the ensuing restoration. We can also use your actual tooth to perform the bone graft by using your extracted tooth's healthy structure, utilizing a special grinder and performing the bone graft with the ground up material.
Extractions
An extraction is the process of having your tooth removed usually because of disease, trauma or crowding. If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment customized to your needs.
Ridge Augmentation
This is a common dental procedure often performed following a tooth extraction to help recreate the natural contour of the gums and jaw that may have been lost due to bone loss as a result of a tooth extraction, or for another reason.

I would like to say a big thank you to the entire LuxDen team! They are simply the best! I have been their patient for the past 7 years. Dr. Umanoff has been taking care of my teeth with the high level of professionalism. He is also very nice and kind. Recently I started Invisalign treatment at LuxDen Dental Center. Dr. Silvia Calderon is very professional, nice and caring.
After a routine check up she suggested Invisalign to improve my smile and make my teeth straight. She explained everything in details: the process, the length of the treatment, pros and cons, etc. Dental assistant Andrey is also very professional, kind and helpful. I am still in the process of aligning my teeth, but I already see the difference! Every follow up appointment has been a pleasant experience for me.
I also want to mention Nadia the dental hygienist. She has been taking care of me every 6 months for routine dental cleaning for at least the past 2-3 years. Came there for a consultation for a horizontal tooth and a cavity checkup. Needed a filling and they were able to do one for me right away. Dr. Umanoff and Dr. Silvia were both very caring and friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. The office and waiting room is very clean, comfortable, and modern. Lovely front desk staff! Very warm and welcoming. The space is very inviting and extremely clean. Had a wonderful and thorough cleaning with Nadiia. She was very patient and took her time explaining the importance of good dental hygiene. Will definitely begin flossing daily. Dr Calderon has a lovely bedside manner. Did not feel rushed. She took her time to explain the procedure that I would need. I highly recommend this place. You also get a nice goodie bag at the end of your visit. That's a nice added touch.

I received an appointment right away for a consultation for a root canal. Dr. Umanoff was polite, friendly & professional. As well as the rest of the staff. The office is beautiful and modern and close to home. They also accommodated my husband as a new patient right away when he was in pain. He was promptly treated and is currently healing from his procedure.
As for me, I got my root canal completed in two visits and it was completely painless (didn't even feel the needle!) and comfortable. We are happy that we found this dental practice and would highly recommend.

I'm so glad that I found this office. Amazing service, attitude and pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Umanoff- attentive, smart and caring. Hygienist- Nadya is incredible, great specialist, kind, knowledgeable, careful and nice. All ladies in office are beautiful, look like they are models. I also loved that everything is modern and clean, X-ray, CT scan produce high quality images. Plus I got a bag of dental presents . Couldn't be more happy about my visit. And I'm the one usually scared of dental appointments. Highly recommend LuxDen Dental Center!

I came to LuxDen Dental center to inquire about Oral Surgury with IV Sedation. When I gave them my insurance they refused to accept it and were very rude about it. If they knew they wouldn't accept State Medicaid Insurance they never should have let me make an appointment. They were so rude even if I had the cash or changed insurance I wouldn't not come back here ever again.

Call the office to schedule an appointment with hygienist. They asked me if I have any dental insurance. I do have a very good dental insurance that pays even for implants. The girl said that it doesn't matter and I have to pay them myself first and then they will bill my insurance and if insurance pays then they will reimburse me. Waste of time. Just another example of Brighton Beach way of doing things. Just go and use a real dentist

HORRIBLE, WENT FROM GOOD TO POOR. Since when does a patient not have a say in their treatment? I was denied treatment after receiving services since 2015 due to my decline of Lidocaine for composite to be fixed. Stay away from this trashy excuse for a dental office. Dr Umnoff used to be compassionate, but is now a phony that doesn't care about the patient first

Everyone here: Katya, Natalya, Sophiia, and Liliia at the front desk are always smiling. They are all very helpful with scheduling, they always help me find the most convenient time to come in. When I had an emergency they put me on the schedule right away and Dr. Umanoff helped me immediately. He really is the best. Very easy financials also. The office manager Simon is extremely helpful and explains everything.
I recommend this place 100%! The hygienist Lidia is amazing too, she left my teeth super clean and I left the office smiling. She taught me the right way to take care of my teeth and was very patient with me. This is the best place for all of your dental needs! I am very happy with their service every time I come. I've been to many dentists throughout my years and I cannot begin to explain how amazing this office is. From the receptionists, to the assistants, to the technicians, to the finance dept. to the Doctor himself. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted by name even though I never stepped foot in that office before. When I called to make an appointment I was in so much pain that they gave me an appointment for the same day.

I've known dr. Leonard Umanoff for the years, and must say that I am extremely lucky to have met him. I had a cosmetic front teeth treatment, Dr. Umamoff went out of his way to explain every single step and course of action in my treatment and always checked on comfort level along the way. I've only come to this place twice for a cleaning and each time I felt like the person took their time with me. This place treats me as if I'm a person and my time is valuable. Too often going to doctors warrant long waits and lack of attention. This has become the norm in America unless you have private insurance. This place responds quickly to emails and they do good work. I'm going back to have all my fillings replaced. I definitely recommend this place.

Not only is he a fantastic dentist but his staff is always kind, and I never feel nervous to call them and ask questions or change an appointment if necessary.
