Dr. Siegel offers “Six Month Smiles” for adult braces in Blue Bell. This effective and affordable cosmetic solution can straighten and align teeth in an average time of just six months, instead of the years sometimes required by traditional approaches!
Six Month Smiles use wires that are tooth-colored to blend in with your smile, making them virtually undetectable. You don’t have to drop out of your social life, dodge the camera at family get-togethers, or cancel your sales meetings while your teeth are being straightened. They focus on cosmetic tooth straightening—just the ones that show when you smile–so they work much faster than traditional braces.

Have you ever wished that you could just change one or more teeth in your smile? Take that small tooth and make it larger. Take that crooked tooth and make it straight. Bring those two teeth in the front together to close the gap. That’s what porcelain veneers can do for you.
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-crafted porcelain restorations that can replace or be bonded over the front surface of your teeth. They can be used to whiten, reshape, and lengthen your teeth, giving you a youthful, attractive smile.

The Zoom! teeth whitening procedure is simple and painless. First, we will place dams and blocks to keep the whitening gel off your gums, lips, and cheeks. Then we apply the specially-developed Zoom! Whitening Gel to your teeth. A special light is used to encourage the reaction between the gel and staining compounds. Once the whitening compound wears out, it is removed and new gel is applied. We typically use three applications per session.
The Zoom! light-activated gel is a scientifically formulated, pH balanced peroxide compound that penetrates the teeth and breaks down organic staining compounds. The Zoom! light gives additional energy to the reaction, and can reactivate some of the spent peroxide to increase the effectiveness of whitening.
Studies have shown your teeth may become six to ten shades whiter, although results depend on the type of staining.

-Repair chipped or cracked teeth
-Close spaces between teeth

-Serve as a tooth-colored filling
If you have these or other cosmetic complaints about your smile, we encourage you to consider dental bonding for your treatment.

An attractive smile is white teeth framed by lips and healthy pink gums. Unfortunately, as we age, many of us develop black triangles around our teeth. These triangles are caused by receding gums, which expose more of our teeth than we want to show. Fortunately, we now have a new technique for closing black triangles: BioClear. BioClear is a unique, flowable composite that can pour around your teeth, closing black triangles and reshaping your teeth to create an attractive smile.
First, Dr. Siegel takes a 3-dimensional photo of your tooth. Then our computer system analyzes your mouth structure to determine the best shape and dimensions for your new tooth crown, veneer or filling.
CEREC restorations are milled from a single block of high-quality ceramic, a substance that has the same characteristics as normal, healthy dental enamel. The milling process takes 4 to 6 minutes depending on the size of the replacement tooth.
Once the restoration is created, Dr. Siegel bonds the final restoration in place and you leave the office with a beautiful, permanent tooth crown.

Dr. Siegel is an experienced dentist, and has filled thousands of cavities. With his expert eye and vast experience in the field of cosmetic dentistry, he can make your cavities disappear by using a tooth-colored filling compound that is custom-blended to match the exact shade of your natural teeth. Once set, the filling compound is virtually undetectable and 100% mercury free.
Painless Fillings
If fillings are needed, Dr. Siegel will first numb the area with a numbing gel or an injection that you will hardly notice. Some shallow fillings can be done without any anesthetic at all. Then the cavity is filled with a tooth-colored composite that will perfectly match your natural teeth. No more silver and black fillings like you got on the old days. If the cavity is larger, the doctor may use an inlay or onlay, a porcelain restoration that will cover the cavity.

A dental implant has many advantages over other methods of tooth reconstruction.
-Dental implants are generally stronger and more durable than bridges and dentures and offer a permanent solution to tooth loss.
-They act and feel exactly like natural teeth. Implant dentistry can also be used with other dental procedures for greater effectiveness.
-While a dental implant can be used to replace a single missing tooth, it can also be used to support a dental bridge or a set of upper or lower dentures.
-Dental implants stimulate the jaw bone and prevent the boneloss that naturally occurs when you are missing a tooth (resorption) .
-Although there are a number of options for the treatment of missing teeth, dental implants are often considered to be the most functional and durable. To find out if you are a candidate for our Blue Bell dental implants, come in today for a consultation with Dr. Siegel.

If you have a tooth that is severely infected and/or damaged, a root canal is usually a necessary procedure in order to protect your oral health and the health of other teeth. The living part of the tooth, also known as the pulp, is made up of blood vessels and nerves. The pulp is located within the pulp chamber which not only houses the pulp but is connected to the roots. The pulp and pulp chamber can become infected due to:
-Decay (cavities)
-Trauma that damages and causes inflammation of the pulp
-Deep fillings that have to be placed near the pulp chamber
-Unexplained reasons – sometimes the pulp just dies with no known cause
During a root canal procedure, both the pulp and nerve are removed from the canal inside of the root. The root is then cleaned, filled, and sealed to ensure that bacteria and other harmful agents are kept outside of the root.

If you have lost a tooth, it is important to replace that tooth to prevent damage to other teeth and future tooth loss. A missing tooth affects the balance of forces in your mouth and can cause:
-Additional stress on other teeth, leading to fractures
-Shifting of teeth that are not braced by adjacent teeth
-Ineffective chewing
-Poor bite, which can lead to TMJ
In addition, a gap can make your teeth harder to clean, leading to gum disease and tooth decay.

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction. Dr. Siegel has vast experience creating CEREC dental crowns, onlays and inlays and has hundreds of satisfied patients.
In the past, tooth-colored filling material was not durable enough to withstand the tremendous biting forces required by back teeth, which limited cosmetic dentistry to front teeth restorations. The CEREC system allows us to create beautiful tooth-colored inlays and onlays both for front and back teeth that match the color and appearance of the rest of your teeth. It creates the same translucence, color and brilliance of your natural healthy teeth and can be custom-made and placed in one visit!
Dr. Siegel recommends CEREC restorations due to their durability; typically CEREC restorations he has seen, even after several years, are in the same condition as when they were first placed.

Reconstructive dentistry (or restorative dentistry) is used when you have suffered damage to your teeth that affects its appearance or function. The quality of reconstructive dentistry will determine how attractive and natural your results will be. Dr. Kenneth Siegel has more than 25 years’ experience in giving his patients great-looking natural results. And now he is happy to utilize CEREC technology, which uses computerized imaging and a computer-controlled milling machine to create attractive and durable restorations within an hour.
Whether you have just one damaged tooth, a whole mouth full of damaged teeth, or tooth decay from cancer treatment, reconstructive dentistry can help give you back the attractive smile you once enjoyed—or maybe only dreamed of. During your initial consultation, Dr. Siegel will examine your teeth and recommend a number of restoration options based on the state of your teeth, including the health of individual teeth and the number of teeth you have lost. You can then pick the option that best fits your budget as well as your cosmetic and functional goals.

Dr. Siegel’s dental care includes the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ, a common jaw disorder that can result in symptoms from headaches and tooth damage to tingling or numbness in the fingers. Dr. Siegel is trained in the field of neuromuscular dentistry, the study of how your mouth’s teeth, bones, muscles, and nerves work together to create a healthy, functional system. Neuromuscular dentistry can be used to treat TMJ as well as other functional disorders of the jaw.
The term “TMJ” can be confusing. It can stand for “temporomandibular joint, ” the joint where your jaw meets your skull. There are two of these joints, located close to your ears. Not only are these complex joints that allow your jaw to open, move forward and back as well as side to side, they are located near numerous important nerves and depend on many muscle groups for proper function. TMJ can also be used to stand for temporomandibular joint disorder (or dysfunction) , which is also sometimes called TMD.

During your treatment consultation, Dr. Siegel will check to see if any of your symptoms point towards sleep apnea. If you do in fact suffer from a variety of these symptoms, Dr. Siegel will work with you to schedule a sleep study that is monitored by a sleep physician. Sleep studies can either be conducted at your home using an ambulatory unit, or at a local sleep laboratory. Dr. Siegel cannot diagnose sleep apnea but if a positive diagnosis is received, you can work with him for proper treatment.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Often referred to as OSA, obstructive sleep apnea is a type of apnea that occurs when the airway becomes narrowed or block. When the air way is blocked completely, breathing can stop and even partial obstruction causes breathing to become irregular. Sufferers often experience dozens or possibly even hundreds of apnea episodes each night. Since obstructive sleep apnea episodes (called apneas) only happen while one is sleeping, sufferers can live with the condition untreated for years, wondering why they always feel tired when they wake up.

The diode Laser machine is an extremely effective gum disease treatment option and allows us to treat gum disease quickly without the need for injections.
How Does the Diode Laser Work?
The diode laser is not much larger than a strand of hair, making the procedure quite comfortable.
The hygienist aims the laser between the gum tissue and teeth, where it painlessly removes and kills the bacteria that cause gum disease. The small laser is able to penetrate deeply into pockets between the gums and teeth, ensuring that bacteria has no place to hide.
Because the diode laser kills bacteria, it is also used to sterilize the gums before or during root canals, cavity treatment, and other such procedures.

I wore braces as a child and as an adult and still had that space between my teeth that I hated and also my teeth were very small. My dentist always told me I would not be candidate for veneers. Well not Dr Siegel! He transformed my smile with Veneers! The space is gone and my teeth are beautiful! Thank you Dr. Siegel! The staff are super nice as well. Highly recommend.

Anyone who has had issues with this practice, please contact me. I have consulted with an attorney and he is willing to take on my case against Dental Excellence of Blue Bell / Dr. Kenneth Siegel. We are exploring the possibility of a class action lawsuit. This dentist stole over $29,000 from me by providing shoddy veneers. It is evident from other reviews that the practice has used the same tactic- Care Credit to defraud their clients.

Dr. Siegel is currently doing some extensive dental work for me and so far, so good! Everything is moving along, as scheduled. His office staff is very professional without being stuffy. Judy, Maribeth, Rhonda and the rest of the crew have made me feel part of the "family" from the very first visit. The office is state-of-the-art, you can count on treatment using the latest technologies. The location is great and once the 202 construction is completed, it will be more accessible than ever. I highly recommend Dr. Siegel's practice!

I found this amazing place on google based on the excellent reviews they have. It seemed too good to be true, but it is all true! Everyone who left a positive message here i 100% agree with! Amazing staff, very accommodating. This is a one stop shop for all your dental needs with excellent service using latest technology and products! Only regret I have is that I haven't found them sooner, ended up wasting so much money on services I never needed at other places!

I'm so happy I found Dental Excellence. Every one who works there is very kind and friendly. They make you feel at home when you're there. Just had cosmetic work done by Dr Siegel. My smile is 100% improved! He is very experienced and competent, and that was my main priority when choosing a dentist.

I have never experienced entering a dentist office where everyone I met was personable and sweet! They remember your name and make you feel very welcome. Additionally, they do their best to accommodate your schedule. When I came in for my cleaning, I met with three different staff members, and we all shared intimate conversations. It felt entirely human and was certainly the best part of my day. They even send you a bag of goodies! I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr, Ken and Missy were a great help in adjusting my SomnoMed Sleep Apnea appliance. The staff feels like family and are very concerned about their patients comfort and well being. Always a good feeling when Maribeth greets you as you walk in the door until you leave with a Dental Excellence smile on your face.

I've had more issues that I'd care to discuss but would like to thank everyone at Dental Excellence of Blue Bell for a completely positive experience. I'm a bit fearful and anxious at dental offices, and found that Missy and Dr. Siegel allayed my fears. They took the time to explain everything to me. After a lengthy appointment, my pain level was greatly lessened. They also made time for a procedure that was not scheduled.

Super friendly and caring staff. I always know what to expect before anything begins. Procedures are explained up front and comfort is a top priority. I was usually pleasantly surprised how little I felt! Who knew that was possible! The staff always explain the expenses before doing any work. I knew what insurance would pay and what my cost would be so I could make a plan to take care of all the things I needed done. I was never a fan of the dentist but the people here make it as easy as can be.

Fun morning with my favorite dentist. Double root canal. Who could ask for more fun! At least it didn't hurt at all. If you hate the thought of going to the dentist because it hurts, check out Dr Ken Siegel of Dental Excellence of Blue Bell. Pricey but the best. The whole staff is caring too. Been coming here for years, even though I moved over 20 miles away.

I came here after googling for dentists that work with phobic patients. They were really nice and took the time to explain everything they were doing. I luckily didn't have any cavities but was still nervous about the cleaning. They provided me with Nu Calm, and I don't know if it was just in my head but it made me feel so much more relaxed!

Great office, great people. The office is clean and up-to-date, but the staff is what makes this place so special. They are competent, efficient (I've never had to wait), willing to take time to explain things and walk you through what is going to happen. I hate having tiny, lethal instruments whirring away in my mouth, but Missy manages to make this dreaded experience ALMOST pleasant. Highly recommended.
Sheila Rizzo
The best dental appointment I have been to in years! I was extremely anxious about going and dealing with some issues related to a new crown needed for a recent root canal. The entire staff could not have been nicer and more reassuring. The offices are beautiful, so comfortable and soothing. But most of all, I was impressed by the knowledge, skill, patience, and bedside manner of Dr. Siegel and his team. Top, top-notch.

I have been a new patient at Dental Excellence of Blue Bell for less than a year and I already feel very comfortable in the warm and very friendly atmosphere. I know I am in excellent care for a recent dental concern. Dr Seigel and his staff really take their time and are extremely thorough. I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially anyone who has any anxiety issues about going to a dentist!

The staff at Dental Excellence of Blue Bell is wonderful - from the front desk to the doctor. I found this practice online in a desperate search to find someone to help me with my TMJ. I’ve been clenching and grinding my teeth for eight years and as a result have had terrible migraines. I’ve gone to numerous neurologists and they all just prescribed medication that didn’t work. I’ve even gone to oral and facial surgeons and got steroid shots in my face (they didn’t work).
I knew I liked Dr. Siegel and Tiffany when they immediately recognized that my jaw had been shifted out of place in a car accident I was in 8 years ago. They got right to work on a custom orthotic that I now wear for 20 hours a day. The change has been MIRACULOUS. I feel so much better - the knots in my face have decreased significantly and so have my migraines.
In fact, I haven’t had a migraine since I got my orthotic. I highly recommend that anyone suffering from TMJ and it’s horrific side effects go to Dental Excellence of Blue Bell ASAP.
