The best dental experience I have ever had! Dr Cvetan Mechev goes above and beyond and helped me with an emergency dental situation I had while I was on holiday visiting from LA. The office is clean and lovely and it actually felt like I was at a spa not a dental office! I'm even considering driving from LA for all my future dental needs. 10/10 experience - I can highly recommend.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Staff is outstanding and Dr Cvetan Mechev is so warm and caring! Very knowledgeable and thorough! I not only had my teeth xrayed & cleaned, but I enjoyed a relaxing visit in Croatia as I sat in the dentist chair watching a beautiful video of the country along with soothing music! I have never liked my front teeth. They were not even and one of them was chipped at the edge. I was always recommended to fix it with veneers. I didn't know that there is a cheaper way to do it until I met Dr. Mechev. He fixed my front teeth with bonding at affordable price. He will always give you all treatment plan options without trying to sell you unnecessary expensive dental work. For me He is a dentist I can trust.

Dr. Mechev has been my dentist for a couple years now and has always taken good care of me. I recently got all four wisdom teeth extracted and did not follow his care instructions after the procedure, which led to me losing all four blood clots and slowed down my healing process. Every morning for two and a half weeks straight, Dr. Mechev sterilized/put medicine in all four extraction areas till I was completely healed. Coming in on his days off and with his wife being very pregnant, just to take my pain away and make sure i healed properly really impressed me. He's a great dentist that really cares about patients! I would highly recommend his practice!

I've been coming here for 20+ years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff, the doctor and his evident passion for this work, the environment and overall treatment is nothing short of excellent. This is not only my preferred dentistry, but a staff of people I've had the pleasure of growing up with. Not sure who else I can trust with my pearly whites!

I had a wonderful first time experience. Everyone in the office was wonderful! Cathy took my X-rays and was very Gental and patient with me. I liked how I could see the pictures she took. It was really interesting being a part of the whole process. When Dr Cvetan reviewed all my X-rays he was I think the first dr that explained exactly what he was looking for and what we were looking at.

He made me feel like he cared about my dental health not what possible money he could make. I really liked him and his chair side manner. :)
Sarah cleaned my teeth and she was to date the best hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth! Omg she taught me stuff no one ever has and was so very Gental and thorough. She was amazing. I will never have anyone else clean my teeth.

She's a 12!!! And such an asset to the office. Thank you all ! Including the receptionist who also was very sweet and kind. The office was very clean and the atmosphere was very enjoyable and relaxing. I loved the tv monitors with the nature scenes. Nice touch!

Dr. Mechev and his staff at La Mesa Dental Center are hands down the best group of professionals that I have ever had the pleasure to go to. Like most people, I don't often go to the dentist because, well let’s face it, it’s usually not a real pleasure, but Dr. Mechev and his team have actually made it a fun and enjoyable experience! I have been there for my fourth visit so far, and every single time I have gone out of the clinic completely satisfied with the service.

I've had several fillings, regular and deep cleanings done at Dr. Mechev office, and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone. The front desk has always provided excellent customer service. The office is beautiful and cozy, with comfortable chairs, big screen TVs and nice relaxing music. In a nutshell, Dr. Mechev is the best dentist I've been to in San Diego.

I have been coming here for about 5 years now and will not even consider going anywhere else! My fiance and I have been clients for almost 3 years now and absolutely love it. We used to live in La Mesa so it was a perfect, but we still continue to make the journey east every 6 months even though we live Downtown because of how much we love the staff. Super professional, gentile and welcoming, I would recommend them to anyone.
