We have designed our office and rooms to feel as non-threatening and safe as possible. To keep your child entertained, we have TVs with a selection of parent-approved channels to watch while we take care of their dental needs. We make recommendations depending on the child’s age, ability to cooperate, and amount of treatment needed. The treatments provided take the dental needs and behavioral aspects into consideration.Both Dr. Dabir and Dr. Cuisia have been providing dental care to children and adolescents for over 15 years. They are qualified and licensed to provide treatments using nitrous oxide and also oral conscious sedation for children that need a little help in getting relaxed for the dental procedure.

Dr. Dabir
Dr. Dabir was born and raised in India. He completed his dental school there in 1995. He practiced as a general dentist for three years before coming to Louisiana State University, New Orleans for his residency in Pediatric Dentistry in 1998.
He graduated in 2000 and was the first student from the program to obtain a Master’s degree. He taught at LSU for two years prior to making San Diego his home in 2003. As a pediatric dentist for over fifteen years, Dr. Dabir has extensive experience in providing dental care to infants, children and teens.

Dr. Cuisia
Dr. Cuisia graduated from dental school at the University of the Philippines in 1994. She obtained a certificate of Externship in Pediatric Dentistry at Philippine Children’s Medical Center in 1995. In 2000, Dr. Cuisia completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans.
After residency, she then became a fellow at University of Maryland at Baltimore for 2 years where she provided care to children in underserved areas of Maryland. She also taught the residents and dental students at UMB.

Dr. Rayna
Dr. Rayna grew up in New York and went to undergraduate and dental school at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from dental school in 2012. Dr. Rayna knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist from early on but also wanted further experience treating many different types of patients. Before completing her pediatric dental residency, Dr. Rayna completed a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Rayna then went on to complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at New York University-Lutheran Medical Center in Southern California, at Rady Children’s Hospital in June 2015.
Dr. Sabrina
Dr Sabrina grew up around the world, living in Singapore, London, and Dubai, during which she had the best time meeting new people and exploring local cuisines. She moved to the US for college and has stayed put ever since! After completing college at Johns Hopkins University, where she studied molecular and cellular biology, she completed dental school at The University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Sabrina always gravitated towards roles where she got to work with kids, so naturally she fell in love with pediatric dentistry! She became a pediatric dental specialist after completing her residency at The University of Rochester in upstate New York. She then swiftly traded in her snow boots for some flip flops to move to San Diego and has been loving it ever since!

Ive been taking my little one here since she was 1. They are amazingly good with even the most skittish children; everyone is very sweet, patient, and warm. Very clean and tidy office. TVs on the ceiling of every exam room with kids movies and shows playing which definitely helps with a happy visit. My daughter (who is easily overwhelmed by situations) responded so well to the environment and the hygienist and dentist. We are very happy here and would definitely recommend them to other families. Also easy parking available.

My children have been seeing Dr Dabir for many years now. When we first came here my son was very young and had a lot of anxiety during medical procedures. He needed to have several cavities filled, and some silver crowns. Dr Dabir was extremely patient and understanding with him, and made accommodations to help get him taken care of.

Weve been coming here for years and have always had consistently great experiences. The hygenists are all very patient with our autistic son, who isnt always super cooperative when it comes to his cleaning, with all the noise and vibrations. Theyve gone above and beyond to accommodate him when hes had to have more extensive procedures done as well. Would highly recommend Carlsbad Childrens Dentistry and Dr. Dabir!

This was my daughters first dentist visit ever and the staff were very kind. My daughter was uncomfortable but the assistant and doctor made her feel welcome and she quickly started to feel in a safe place. She was given prizes even before she was checked. Doctors explained everything that was going to happen before doing. As parents, we loved to see our children well treated and this place does just that! Definitely recommend, place is well cleaned and around fun activities for your kids after their appointments!

Super friendly staff! They made my daughter very comfortable and excited to be at the dentist! Lauren was AMAZING and walked my daughter through all the steps and what she was doing so she felt included! She also gave us some tips for my 5 month old that has her first teeth in already! They also gave me flowers, stickers, and a little soap for Mothers Day which was super thoughtful and nice! We will be coming here for a long time!

We have always had a great experience so Im not sure what happened today. Our oral technician was great, very friendly, and well versed in her technique. After she finished, she said the dentist will be in shortly; unfortunately after waiting 35 minutes without being seen or informed of the delay, we chose to leave. It appeared that the dentist there was with one patient for that 35 minute period, poor time management. Dr Dabir was on his day off so perhaps his absence was the source of this issue.

Dr. Dabir has been my kid's dentist for the past decade, and I can't speak highly enough about our experience. We found Dr. Dabir to be calm, patient, and very good. Aside from the normal cleanings and fillings, he navigated us through multiple tooth pullings for orthodontics, and what could have been frightening became just another visit. The offices are bright, clean, and kid friendly, including televisions on the ceilings. My kids are adults now, so we're moving to another dentist, but I will always be grateful for the service that Dr. Dabir provided.

Two words: toddler magicians! I cannot say enough positive words about everyone in the office from the person who first greets your child at the door, to the dental hygienists, to the dentist, himself. They always introduce each step in the cleaning process so gently, and in such a fun way, that my child could not wait to have her cleaning and fluoride treatment done. She is a toddler, so that says a lot! If I could give 10 stars, I would. They just have that special toddler magic that will keep us coming back again and again.

Most welcoming front desk staff! The whole staff is smiling and is extremely accommodating. Dr. Dabir and his staff make sure my child is on board whats going on. Dr. Dabir uses the latest technology and as results only necessary procedures are being made. This is a happy place for little kiddos! It does not feel as a traditional sterile scary dentist office. Cute interior decorations along with fun staff and the little patient leaves with a toy and all is good! The offices vibe & energy is cheerful.

We've been seeing Dr. Dubir and his amazing staff for about 7 years. I was referred to him by my coworker. Now everyone I work with takes their kids to CCD. When a staff truly enjoys what they do, and are happy to be where they are, it truly shows. They have always been so kind and helpful throughout our years there, we even drive from Fallbrook just to go there! We love Carlsbad Children's Dentistry and wouldn't imagine going anywhere else! :

This office has a lot of wonderful aspects. Very easy to book our appointment, bright and clean space, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. It just wasnt the right fit for my preschooler. The amount of visual stimulation (TVs playing, bright wallpaper, toys and prizes), in addition to all the stickers and rewards offered along the way turned out to be just too overwhelming for my young child.

The whole staff was very friendly and helpful, from the front receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Dabir. The assistant that helped us especially, did an amazing job at helping my son feel comfortable and not scared. My son asked if from now on we could come here to this dentist because he really liked it here. Really good work all around.

What a difference a pediatric dentist makes! After making the mistake of taking my little ones to the same dentist I went to - I realized I needed someone who the kids wouldn't be afraid to visit! Fortunately, Dr. Dabir was in the same building! My kids have been seeing him since they were in kindergarten & pre-K! Sadly, my youngest is turning 18 this year. Both my kids would prefer to continue with Dr. Dabir! You can't find a better fit for kids than the staff at Carlsbad Children's Dentistry!

Dr Dabir came highly recommended to us by 2 of my coworkers right after we moved to California 4 1/2 years ago. We are so glad we took their recommendation! He and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. My children always felt comfortable even when needing local anesthesia. My 14 year old daughter wants to be a dentist now because she's no longer afraid! Great dentist, great staff. Highly recommend.
