Dr. Kanter and his professional staff offer comprehensive and affordable quality dental care which means you won't spend extra time and money driving around for the services you need because you can get most of your treatment conveniently and masterfully completed under one roof.
You can expect to have soreness, pain and/or discomfort, and throbbing with your tooth and around your gums after the root canal procedure. This is normal and can last from several days to several weeks. It is recommended that you take Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) 800 mg every 6-8 hours for approximately 3 days for postoperative discomfort.
At Lakewood Ranch Dental oral cancer evaluations are performed routinely at each semi-annual dental hygiene appointment. Your dentist will examine the oral tissues in and around your mouth, under your tongue, and in the back of your throat. Additionally, your dental hygienist is also evaluating and looking for any abnormalities or concerns.

From my first encounter I have been continually impressed with the professionalism, care, concern and attentiveness of the staff. When I am given an appointment, that appointment is kept in a timely manner. The staff is excellent and they put you are ease during your visit. Treatment plans are explained with the alternatives. I would recommend this facility for anyone looking for uplift and compassionate dental care.

American dentistry at its finest. when you build a house the materials used matter. When you fix a tooth/teeth, the same principle applies. As a long term client of Lakewood Ranch Dental, I can say that none of my work to date has needed to be redone. This is HUGE. This practice utilises and sources the best materials used in dentistry today.(important if you want that implant or filling to hold up) Aside from that - the environment is calm and staff professional- enough said

I have been going to Lakewood Ranch Dental for a couple years now. I have been very pleased with this organization. It start at their front desk employees. They are all extremely courteous and professional. I go their twice a year for teeth cleaning and Monica is simple the best! I highly recommend this dental office. You will not be disappointed.

I am so very impressed with Cindy Herbert. She is so accommodating, knowledgeable, reassuring and kind. I have experienced so much frustration with treating my sleep apnea and was so relieved with how she anticipated issues and explained everything so thoroughly. I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Kantor's since 2017. He and his staff are incredible, the office is an art museum in itself! I always enjoy visiting, even though it's a dentist. Today was the first day I had even got out of the house because of the death of my roommate. We're not young anymore and she had to many demons to get over. Today Martha and Dr Laurey were so nice and wished me condolences. Martha was so thorough and managed to squeeze in another step for my next appt so I wouldn't have to come back. I was amazed she had been there 29 years. She didn't look old enough! I recommend the practice highly.
