I have been a dental patient of Dr. Tim Mathis for many years and I wanted to take the time to write a review based on my experience this morning. First, let me tell you that I am extremely anxious about dentistry and have a very low threshold of pain when it comes to my teeth. I want no pain and I want it to go fast! After my teeth cleaning last week with Penny, who is an excellent hygienist, I was informed that I had a cavity and in need of a crown replacement.

The crown needing replacing was not Dr. M's work. I was shocked when I found out I would have the cavity fixed and crown replaced in only 2 hours. I was in and out today in two hours. Dr. Mathis has a 3D scanner and printer that was able to create the crown in that time frame. No more 2 step process of waiting around between appointments with an uncomfortable temporary crown.

The staff are kind and compassionate to me, the anxious patient, and always do their best to accommodate my fear! One thing that I realized today walking into the office is that they probably have the most beautiful office locations in all of Santa Barbara. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Mathis to anyone!

What an amazing experience! Dr Mathis has a special device that helped him do the numbing injection, I didn't feel a thing! Then, Dr Mathis made me a crown while I waited! An hour later I walked out with a crown that matched and felt natural! Amazing

Dr. Mathis and staff are truly topnotch. Everyone is very friendly and it's clear that they really care about you as a person. Penny does an amazing job on my regular cleanings and is always gentle and attentive to my comfort level when cleaning in sensitive areas. By far the best dentist I've ever had. I leave smiling every time!

Dr. Mathis is the most knowledgeable dentist I have ever used. I had my first appointment yesterday and feel very confident that I have picked an outstanding dentist. He and his staff are very friendly and the cozy nature of the office doesn't feel like a dental factory. I would highly recommend Dr. Mathis.

He and his entire staff are the tops in professionalism and friendliness. Dr. Mathis has the latest training and tools and he has performed several upgrades to my fillings and crowns improving not only my bite, but cosmetics as well. In short, the best dentist I've ever had.

Dr. Mathis is great! Since my first visit, I have been more then satisfied with all services provided by the Dr. as well as his amazing staff! Scolds you when you don't take care of your teeth!

I have been coming to Dr. Mathis for years and have only had great experiences. I am not a fan of doctor offices, but Dr. Mathis and his staff are extremely friendly, making it a comfortable environment. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or family looking for a great dentist here in Santa Barbara.
