Dr. O and his staff are so AWESOME. My family has been going to him since my kids could see a dentist. And now they are in their 40's and still go to him. Even my grandchildren go to his office. They are SO CARING. They make every effort to make you feel comfortable in what for some is a stressful situation. Shout out to my hygienist. Chris is the best. Happy Retirement. Love Dr. Odegard and staff.

My wife and I have been going to Optimal Dental for over 15 years now for everything from cleanings, cavities, crowns and implants. Dr. Odegard and his staff are always professional but also fun. They make visits enjoyable and not something to dread. I recently had an old crown replaced and was amazed how pain-free the procedure was. I would highly recommend this office!

I have been going to Optimal Dental for roughly 8 years and had the same hygienist cleaning my teeth the entire time(Vicki). Vicki has moved to another office and I was very apprehensive about getting a new hygienist to fill her shoes as she had been the best hygienist I had ever had work on my teeth. Today was my first visit for a cleaning since Vicki had left and I was hoping my new hygienist would be half as good as Vicki.

My new hygienist name is Jen and I am happy to be able to say that Jen is just as amazing as Vicki. Optimal Dental is by far has the best dental team I have ever been to. I highly recommend Team Odegard for all your dental needs! Emil G

I was lucky enough to find Optimal Dental close to 20 years ago. I had lost my previous dentist to retirement and didn't know where to turn. At the time, I turned to a service named "1-800-dentist" and got Dr. Odegard as a referral. I'm very happy I did. The entire team there have always been amazing; so much so that I've sent numerous people (including my own mother) there as patients.

They are all very professional and always "state of the art" when it comes to new dental technology. If you're looking for a new dentist, you could do a lot worse. but never better.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this dental practice. I could honestly sing their praises from the rooftop, they are that awesome. I've been a patient for several years and just love these people and the amazing work they do. I was terrified of dentists for years after bad experiences at other dentists and avoided going till badly infected cracked fillings gave me no choice.

I was scared and embarrassed that I would be judged for what was ultimately my fault of a train wreck in my mouth, but from the first moment I stepped into Optimal Dental I was made to feel so comfortable and given such kind and compassionate care. We began a journey of correcting my years of neglect and restored my mouth to a healthy and bright smile.

I was able to easily overcome my fear of pain from the drill as they would take my discomfort seriously at every point during the process and make adjustments for smooth sailing. Previous dentists had always just pushed through, saying it's almost over, you can deal. Having kind, caring and compassionate people that make you an equal part of the process throughout each and every procedure is what made all the difference.

Now I practically skip into my cleanings every six months knowing I'm getting amazing care and we can stay ahead of any problems so I never end up back with so much pain and damage. The entire staff at Optimal Dental are just amazing and caring people and I can't recommend them enough. Give them a try, you will not be sorry.

Dr. Odegard and his team are truly top level experts. Honest, sincere, and respectful. I've sent over 25 people to them and continue to advocate for their dental services. 10/10 would highly recommend.

I have received care from dentists in several states and at least one foreign country. Dr. Odegard and his team have been the best of them all. I actually look forward to my visits, and I feel completely confident about the health of my teeth.

Called on 8/12/21 and spoke with a receptionist who confirmed they accept United Healthcare Dual Complete. Made the appointment for today. Went in only to find out they actually do NOT accept this insurance. The very receptionist who told us they did accept this was in present at the time in the office but did not apologize for her poor knowledge (without even knowing what they do/don't accept). Definitely a waste of time dealing with rude people.

The entire staff is so friendly, professional and just all-around great! Kristin, who is my dental hygienist, is very good at her job and is always fun to spend time with. (Chris was my husband's hygienist and was such a good sport about his well-meaning, mischievious behavior! Remember the awful fake teeth he wore in to his cleaning appointment with Chris for the first time?) I must say that Crystal is exceptional.

When my husband passed away earlier this year, she was so unbelievably caring and kept in touch with me. I received a gorgeous floral arrangement and I just felt like the office was "family". All in all, I love going to this dentist and I know that I am getting the best dental care possible. Yay, Dr. Odegard, for the great dental care and having such a great staff that goes that extra mile!

My husband, age 88, has been seeing Dr. Odegard for the last few years. He had several dental implants and couldn't be happier with the results. Aside from Dr. Odegard's obvious expertise and competency, his greatest asset is his staff. They make everyone feel special with their friendly and caring manner and make each visit a pleasant experience. We highly recommend Dr. Odegard and his crew.

This Dr is a liar and a cheat. They bate and switched me into a more expensive treatment before they new if my insurance would pay. They indicated that most of the time insurance pays this kind of charge but when my insurance company refused to pay Dr Liar said "Oh well sometimes they don't pay and you still owe the bill." Would not take my dog to this crank

I have been coming here for over a year based on a recommendation from a family friend. I like the fact that they are open at 7 am. This helps a lot with being able to get in and have my teeth cleaned before work so I don't have to take time off in the middle of the day. Overall great service and friendly staff.

Don't fall into his marketing stuffs that you may see in Renton ads - he talks the talk but does not walk the walk. I still have some sensity issue up until today after his partner, Dr. Cho, fixed 99% of his mistake (drilled too deep and too close to the nerve area while chatting and laughing with his assistant). Trust me, this is a real experienced review as I don't gain any benefits out of this. Nowadays, I am willing to drive long distance to see my good old dentist. Anyway, good luck with your search!

This is the best dentistry I've ever been a patient of. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist and in fact most of my life I have dreaded it. My friend referred me to Dr. O's office and from day one I have felt very welcome here. I bring my baby with me when I get my teeth cleaned and the girls at the front desk (particularly Jessica) keep him entertained while I'm getting worked on.

Both of the hygienists that I have seen (Becca and Kristen) are very friendly, gentle and thorough. Both of the dentists are very warm and friendly people as well as helpful. My husband is a patient here as well and really likes them. I'm so glad I can finally be comfortable while at the dentist and know that I am well taken care of.

I am not a big fan of the dentist. I had a terrible experience in college and dread it every time. I came here once and by the time I came back to get my fillings filled, a month later, they remembered me. They asked about my husband and his teeth after a recent visit of his. The place is clean and the staff is incredible. The doctors won't do a filling on you unless absolutely necessary. I don't mind coming here at all.

I initially selected Dr. O as my dentist given the close proximity to our home (about 5 mins) and am happy I did. As other reviews stated, everyone in the office is friendly and non-intimidating (a must in my book for dental work!), plus the office team is always flexible and accommodating of my travel schedule. Added bonus you can opt in to use email and/or text for appointment reminders which I LOVE!

I originally came to Dr Odegard earlier this year to have him fix the bonding on my front tooth that had a tiny little chip. (My front teeth have had bonding to close a gap since I was a pre-teen) He and his assistant Crystal not only fixed that chip - he's such a perfectionist with his cosmetic work that he spent quite a bit of time really making sure that the shape of the corners of my two front teeth "fit" my face.

I left his office with way better looking front teeth, not just a repaired chip. Huge confidence boost. He's not just a dentist - he's an artist and someone who really cares about his work and his patients. At that time - I decided to switch to him for my cleanings too even though he's further away from my house and work than lots of other dentists.

I just got done with my second cleaning since I began coming to Dr Odegard's office. Becca ("my" hygienist) is so gentle and has such a calm energy about her, I'm telling you, I've never felt more relaxed and at ease in a dental chair. I couldn't resist writing a review for them after yet another perfect experience. By the way - Betsy and Rachelle at the front desk are fantastic, you'll feel like you've known them for years when you meet them. Great to be able to start and finish your appointments with their warm, caring presence.

Outstanding dentist, however his receptionist and procedural coder are unskilled or they simply don't care, and have sharp tongs; they are costing a remarkable dentist client. I won't be going back, It was so embarrassing to sit there and listen to them talk about clients in such a shameful way. After the dental work was done, and done well the coder failed to code the work correctly, I called my insurance company and they instructed me to call the dentist and ask them to resubmit the payment or to call them and get the correct codes. The front desk told me that I was trying to force them to commit fraud! So sad that a good dentist hired such "mean girls". Stupid is as stupid does. (sigh)

Came in to have my wisdom teeth pulled recently in this office. Amazing staff and was so comfortable. Thank you.excited to come back in for my regular apps and cleanings.

Not only is Dr. Odegard a good dentist he exhibits a sincere concern and caring. I always dreaded having dental work done because I was rarely able to be numbed. Dr. O always does it right with little or no pain. Most all of his staff have been with him for many years and clearly love and respect this man. He and staff are constantly attending education events to always be up to date in the world of dentistry.

When I was 18 and looking for new dentist my friend told me about this guy who took him in even without insurance. Said they'll worry about money later but lets get that tooth fixed. I thought that was pretty rare these days so I gave him a try! I'm so glad I did too! I'm never afraid of any procedures because I know Dr. O and his team are overly qualified in comfort and even more so in quality. I've recommended at least 15 people his way because I truly believe that he's the best.

His office is always up to date or ahead of their time in dental technology. The staff is caring and upbeat. Now I take my son there and appreciate his office just that much more, they are GREAT with kids too!

I have been going here for years! I hated going to the dentist until I found Dr. Odegard. Every single person I have met there is so great. I will go in and get my teeth cleaned and at the same time have my 10 year old son and 4 year old daughter have there teeth cleaned. Not only do I have a great experience every time my kids LOVE going to the dentist!

Its shocking to me but they really do love going. My son has had one cavity: and he did not feel a thing when they filled it. I recommend him to every family member and all my friends!
