Great dental service. Gentle Dental dentist's office is pristine with state-of-the-art high-tech equipment. The premises are immaculately clean, and the staff is friendly, well trained, and very professional. Dr. A has been my dentist for over seven years. The dental work is above excellent and has the best dental staff.

Today was a day out of many appointments that I've had with Gentle Dental. I was greeted at the door by the usual fresh flowers and smiles from staff. With practically no waiting after filling or the Health screening questionnaire I was seen right away. My teeth are super sensitive and yet service today made me smile during cleaning and treatment.

I was encouraged to get my annual X-rays which also prompted the Dentist to evaluate me for Invisalign. This was such a cool process. I saw the before and after of what my smile could look like. Much to consider! There is much to do and the GD team made me feel like it can All can get done. To fix what I never thought possible takes one tooth at a time. Thanks to the Doctors and Gentle Dental team!

I have been going to Gentle Dental for several years now. We absolutely love Dr. Andrea and all the staff there. My husband and I retired to Florida, but we still come back to New York to go to Gentle dental in Queens.

Absolutely the best dentist office I ever went to. Friendly, knowledge staff. Immaculate office. Great bed ride manned by hygienist and dentist. Made a trip that I usually hate perfectly fine!

This dentist is fantastic from the service to the actual work on your teeth, I had a crown done by another dentist and it was not natural looking. Went to this dentist and the temporary is more natural than what the other dentist did. Can't wait for my permanent crown. My husband loves them. They really give you all the information on your teeth. Billing is great they tell you right away how much benefits you have available so you can decide what you can afford to do. We love them. 2/8/22 - Received my new crown it is fantastic I can't even tell the difference to my teeth. I just love this dentist.

I had an appointment today and was very pleased with my treatment. The staff and professionals went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and explained clearly exactly what the cleaning, scaling, and antibiotic process entailed. Dr. Andre has been my doctor for many years and is extremely gentle and complete. In fact, I have absolutely no trepidation about seeing him for an extraction next week.

Regarding finances, Gentle Dental offers a payment plan that is very feasible and eases my mind when it comes to payment of their services and treatments. If you are seeking a new dental practice, then Gentle Dental may be the place for you and your family!

Dr. Andrey is just simply the best dentist out there. He's extremely professional and caring. I've had quite some work done on my teeth and I've never felt more comfortable and at ease in his care than with any other dentist. The office is impecable, they offer the highest standards and technologies I've ever seen elsewhere and his dedicated office team just make the whole experience of having to visit the dentist relaxing and enjoyable. I'm not one to write reviews, but this office will far exceed anyones expectations of having to visit the dentist.

Prompt, professional and personable. Appointments are always a pleasure. Keep in mind that this is a dentist visit and we know how most of feel about going to the dentist. LOL.

I was afraid of the dentist all my life, I kept receiving invitations in the mail & finally decided to try Gentle Dental I am very happy I did. Everyone was genuinely nice. I need to extract my teeth. Although this clinic is clean, there are no patients and many staff. They do not receive medical insurance. You need to pay $500 to remove a tooth. The preferential price for the inspection fee is 65. I feel a little scary. This is also the reason why there are no patients. I didn't have treatment, so I only paid 65 dollars for the examination. I just post about the real clinic experience. Sorry i only rated one star 500 65 65

Of all the medical providers that I go for my 6 month/yearly check ups (eye Dr., family practitioner for my physical, etc.), my favorite place to visit is Gentle Dental. The office is super clean, the entire staff is so friendly, nice and I love the advanced technology/equipment they use. I wish every medical provider was as organized. I travel all the way from Suffolk County to use Gentle Dental. Well done and thank you!

I never thought I would say this but, going to Gentle Dental was the best dental experience I've ever had so far. The staff was phenomenal! Courteous, professional and thorough. Absolutely no discomfort during the procedure! I'm very particular about where I go to the dentist, but I love this place after just one visit! The facility is clean, with modern technology.

With a name like "Gentle Dental", they didn't disappoint! The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that my insurance didn't cover a part of the procedure I needed, so I used carecredit. I definitely recommend this place especially if you don't like going to the dentist. You will enjoy the experience here.

From the friendly greeting at the front desk to the checkout at the end of my visit, I love Gentle Dental and I never felt this way about going to the dentist prior to experiencing Gentle Dental. The team is awesome and they consistently deliver prompt, friendly and professional service. Hands down the best! I trust them wholeheartedly. They're not trying to sell services you don't need, but they are taking care of your needs and their chair-side manner is phenomenal. Just went for a consultation. The front staff, nurse assistants and staff were very sweet. However, the doctor himself was abrupt and not warm. He looked at my x-rays, told me what needs to be done then directed me to the financial consultant. Gentle Dentist does not take all insurance, and of course they didn't take mine. The consultant handed me hand estimate that was enough to buy a car.

They are very pricey too pricey. If you have insurance and don't mind a cold doctor go there, otherwise if they'd take my issuance I wouldn't of, didn't appreciate the doctor's bedside manner.

My husband and I both come here to get our teeth cleaned. I was getting my last side of deep cleaning and cavity. My husband was supposed to get his sutures taken out and cavity done but the coordinator didn't schedule the cavity in. They told my husband that he couldn't be accommodated because all doctors are backed up and didn't have time.

She didn't even ask the doctor to see if they would be willing to do it. So I asked Dr. Kogen (my doctor) to if he can do it. And he right away said yes. Which was really nice of him. Dr. Kogen did 3 of my cavities and it was seamless. He's so nice and was able to answer all my questions. My hygienist Cindy was great with my cleaning. She made sure my lips were hydrated and I had enough numbing cream.

Every now and then she would ask if I was ok which was really nice of her. The assistant Gladys was also very nice and helpful. Dr. Andrey did my husband's wisdom tooth extraction and he was really knowledgeable and everything went really smooth. Eyline was a medical assistant who helped him with his first extraction was great. She gave live updates on what to expect during the procedure which helped keep him feeling relaxed so he wouldn't be surprised.

Beautiful office, polite stuff, very caring and professional Doctors. Street parking available. Hi-Tech dental equipment. Overall amazing experience.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family and I thought the world of this dental office. Over the last fews years that we've gone, we truly felt that this was a one of kind dental office but the last few months gave way to a horrible experience and honestly its due to the changes in personnel in the office. Every single person in the office in the first few years were helpful, informative, and smiling.

My family and I had an insurance change and there were personnel changes in their billing department due to maternity leave of the original officer. They checked the insurance and told me all was well and we would discuss the bill after they started the procedure. Well the post "discussion" was that my bill was almost $4000 and I would have to pay that!

Apparently no one thought it wise to tell me that we were now OUT OF NETWORK with them due to the insurance change. I found this out after i left the office and called to find out why was my bill so high. I never had a root canal done so although i felt the charge was high, I NEVER questioned that they would NEGATE the fact that I was now OUT OF NETWORK.

The dentist himself and hygienist all amazing. The front desk personnel great to speak to. BILLING department - disgusting. I've been trying to pay the balance through my HSA card because i never expected to incur such a charge. Not many people walk into a dentist office expecting such an out of pocket expense. I would have NEVER booked my procedure with them if I knew we were now out of network.

I definitely should have checked. But after they "checked" they should have told me. They went in knowing I didn't have coverage. THAT IS TERRIBLE. Now because i'm trying to settle a balance in partial payments and have incurred some hiccups because of other copays on my HSA card, they are hitting me with $75 late fees. I have literally pleaded with them to allow me to pay in increments.

I AM COMPLETELY WILLING TO PAY. I think it is HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNETHICAL TO NOT TELL SOMEONE BEFORE A $4000 PROCEDURE THAT THEY ARE NOW OUT OF POCKET. And during the holiday season at that. Disgusting. This is the type of situation that the BBB need to know about.

I am so impressed with the level of professionalism displayed and kind consideration given to me by the dentist and staff at Gentle Dental. From the moment I arrived, I could see I was in good hands. I was offered tea, fresh apples and a comfy place to wait. The office and facilities were very clean and there were prepared disposable toothbrushes in the bathroom for clients to freshen up with, before appointments.

I explained that dental work made me nervous. They did not hesitate to address my concerns. They explained every step and gave advance notice if I was about to feel pressure, discomfort or pain. I am forever grateful to Dr Roman Kogen, he saved a tooth and put a perfect crown. Several Dentists told me that I needed an extraction and (the tooth) could not be saved.

I recommend this dentist to anyone who's been looking for the perfect match. Professional, honest and talented. Imagine being told over and over that a tooth needed to be pulled. And then one epic day, with the right dentist.you're told "we are saving this tooth!"? Thank you Gentle Dental and Dr. Kogen. I've finally found the right match.

I've been to this office twice and what a nightmare! The first visit was for a cleaning & they weren't "Gentle" @ all. I was in pain the entire time & the dental hygienist showed no remorse. They stated I had 8-10 cavities which in fact was a lie and actually found out today that I had 2. I had an emergency visit the second time & all the doctor did was examine me, told me I needed a root canal and immediately the financial advisor came in and stated my co-pay was $1,500. HOW?!

On top of that they insisted I stayed because there's "no place better than here" LOL. What a joke. Complete scam if you ask me. I will never return to this establishment. Waste of time & money.

I had the best experience in this beautiful up to date office! From making the appointment to being greeted by the office manager and shown around it was a dream from the beginning. The hygienist really knew what she was doing and performed a completely painless cleaning when usually it's very painful for me. And doctor andrey was incredible! What a calming and reassuring dentist! I highly recommend this practice you won't regret it!

I have never had a more pleasant experience at the dentist. Warm welcome as soon as you come in. The name of the establishment is really a perfect fit, you are treated so gently the entire time. Once you get into the room you are positioned, asked what you would like to be put on the tv, given a pillow, glasses. It's as convenient and accommodating as can be.

Never have I imagined to enjoy my dental visit so. Dr Andre is an expert in his field and I am always very pleased with his care. He always explains every action and works with you through your fears and discomfort if need be. So patient and kind. Thank you!

My story: I drive 90 mins, sometimes 2 hours to this office. I probably pass hundreds of dental offices. The reason I first came here, I had a bad tooth ache and at the time I lived in New Jersey but worked in New York. This was the only office that had availability to treat me the next day as an emergency patient. After the treatment and responses from other patients, I decided to fix or correct my teeth from accidents that occurred during my youth and time served in the military.

I had every type of treatment done at this office performed by Dr. Andrey llyabayev and his staff. He has performed oral surgery, root canals, extraction, implants and crowns on my mouth. His knowledge an attention to detail is what separate him from other Dentists. I highly recommend Dr. Andrey for any dental treatment, especially cosmetics. My hygienist Angie is the best. Staff/Office: Hospitality is awesome, everyone is polite and professional.

Office is always clean and never noisy. Special thanks to Laritza, Yolanda, Latoya, Virtoriya, Kiara, Anna, and 1 male assistant who name I forgot. This team has great chemistry and comradery.

I was quite anxious since my front tooth needed to be replaced. I opted for an implant and am so happy that I did! From the minute I walked in, everyone was so nice and professional. Asked if I wanted a pillow for my head before treatment started. They put glasses on you to protect you from getting anything in your eyes. Kept checking to make sure I was comfortable.

The staff is incredibly nice and puts you at ease. Very professional! Even call the next day to make sure you're okay. Dr. Andrey did a great job with my implant - looks just like my real tooth. Couldn't be more pleased. He's a perfectionist and it shows. So happy I found Gentle Dental!

Not impressed at all. Hygienists were great. Basically you were not allowed to talk to dentist - only office manager who had a very cold demeanor.

I give this place ZERO stars! They lied and are rude. I went in for an emergency visit, they told me they took my insurance but did NOT tell me until after the dental word was complete that while they accept my insurance, my insurance is NOT within their network, costing me $1,000 instead of $150. BIG DIFFERENCE WOULDN'T YOU SAY? The dentist then told me it was my fault and argued with me, he didn't know what he was talking about. Told me the problem was that I chew with my front teeth, and I told him no I chew with my back teeth. He's seen me for 30 seconds, I don't care if he was the best dentist in the world, there was no way for him to know anything about me in that amount of time.

I am APPALLED, INSULTED, DISGUSTED, and INFURIATED with their lack of professionalism, rudeness, lack of integrity, thiefiness (that's right I made up a word), and lack of compassion. Don't insult me and then ask me to make another appointment to fix something else. I'm no idiot, get the dollar signs out of your eyes malakas.

My friend recommended this place for me to go and get examination for a suspected infection on my top right area of my tooth and gum area. She expressed that Dr Audrey was the best and had corrected many things in her mouth. Based on the recommendation, I did not hesitate and I booked an appointment asap. I must give credit that that office staff and the dental assistants were fantastic and beyond phenomenal however I cannot say the same for Dr. Audrey.

I was truly disappointed for the reason that he barely talked. I had to probe with a lot of questions in order to get answers to my problem. Like really? I would've given this place a 5 star would've Dr Audrey shown more concern and asked more questions in order to really assess my matter. I will not return to this place.

Staff is super nice. everyone is very accommodating. they follow up the next day after most visits to make sure you are doing well.very up to date on all their equipment. when you sit in the chair you get a pillow! Then they put sun glasses on you so nothing gets in your eyes. and then they put something on your lips to keep them from drying out! Love it!

My other dentist the equipment was so old they had to go into another room to fill up the rinse cup! Update. lots of work done and super nice and always concerned for your well being and comfort.love them!

Ive been coming to the office for many years. Staff is amazing! Always accommodating and very consistent with quality service.

This was a first visit for my daughter who is very scared of dentists. The staff was kind, polite & patient. The office was neat & clean & we were seen very soon after completing the paperwork. The hygienist Jessica took her time and communicated well with my daughter. The Dr. Was also very pleasant & kind & explained the treatment plan throughly with us and gave us a review of the X-rays and showed us what areas had cavities.

We have another appointment next week to start working on the cavities so I hope the level of care continues. They are also upfront with the expected cost of treatment so there aren't any surprises.

I started getting work done by Gentle Dental in middle school. As soon as I turned 18, these guys decided to send an unpaid bill straight to collections. (Thus, messing up my credit right before going to college!) That isn't even one reason to why I am writing this review. Gentle Dental claimed I had eight cavities. My gut instinct told me this was not true.

Back from College, I decided to get a second opinion. I did not have a single cavity. On top of all this, they never finished two jobs left over in my mouth! One, on my left side, I had received a root canal sometime in high school. I go back a year later, and the root canal wasn't well done. Becuase of this mistake, they extracted the whole tooth. Again, work not finished. (Luckily, I am getting that fixed this year, by another dentist of course!) On the right side of my mouth, I received another root canal. (by Gentle Dental) The crown chipped and cracked, while also never being completed. (My current dentist showed me the X-Rays of the unfinished root canal) I wish that they wouldn't have done that to me at such a young age.

Anyone in high school wouldn't question a dentist. To take advantage of my mother's insurance, put unnecessary work in my mouth and bill me before knowing what's credit scores, is just LOW. So Gentle Dental managed to: -Mess up my credit before turning 18. -Give me two poorly done root canals. -A undependable crown. -Almost fill eight non-existing cavities. -Not finish two implants. (They wanted me to get my cavities filled before I received any implants. Cavities that I didn't have.)

Had a great experience at Gentle Dental. It was my son's 1st cleaning and they welcomed him with opened arms and were very patient with him. He didn't let them clean his mouth but they were very reassuring that when we try again in a month he will do ok. I appreciate their attentiveness with my son. My husband and I also had cleaning done and we r super satisfied with the results and care. The staff is very friendly and very sweet.

First off let me start by saying I was genuinely scared to go to the dentist. The last time I went to a dentist I had a terrible experience that resulted in lots of pain. Needless to say I put off going to the dentist after that for a long time (over ten years). Finally I worked up enough courage to go, and chose Gentle Dental. They put my fears at ease the moment I walked through the door.

The calm inviting environment felt more like a spa and less like a doctors office! Everyone at the front desk was warm and friendly, helping to make me feel less nervous. My dental hygienist was professional and gentle, and having nice comfy headphones to listen to my music made the time getting my teeth cleaned actually relaxing! After the cleaning and x-rays it was determined that I had a number of cavities that had to be filled. Gentle Dental truly lives up to its name because I didn't even feel the needle for the Novocaine!

I had my cavities filled and felt ZERO PAIN from beginning to end. So happy with my experience to the point at which I'm actually looking forward to my next scheduled cleaning. Thanks Gentle Dental for putting my fears to rest and redefining the dental experience! Looking forward to next time.

Dr Andre and his staff are excellent! I am a nervous person when it comes to dental visits and Dr Andre & his dental hygienists all put me at ease every time I have to go. Latiza and the rest of the hygenists are caring and always making sure you're very comfortable. Joana, Ana, Jean and the administrative staff are extremely helpful in accommodating appointment times. Unfortunately I have dental issues and have to spend a lot of time in their office but thankfully Dr Andre and his entire staff make it a pleasant experience.
