I have a dental phobia and anxiety but forced myself to go. They were extremely kind, patient and understanding

Updated review: office was professional and reached out to me and they listened to my concerns. My out of pocket costs were refunded and they assured me they would transfer my X-rays to another dentist if I wished. I changed my review to 3 stars to reflect their customer service. -------- Here is the good and the bad Good: front office staff friendly. Dentist friendly and knowledgeable.

They really try to get to know you and put you at ease Bad: appt was at 9am. Hygienist showed up late - poor tech was trying to kill time with me for 50 mins. Hygienist (Patricia) finally shows up and spends 15 minutes with me to inspect, clean and polish my teeth. During the entire time hygienist tries to hard sell me multiple products and scare me into additional procedures.

I am then told she doesn't have enough time to properly clean my teeth and I will need a "deep cleaning" and she has time for that in an hour. My teeth did not feel clean afterwards - how is 15 mins an adequate cleaning? There was no scraping and only haphazard polishing. I was then evaluated by the dentist who at least didn't agree with the hygienist on the hard sell of $$$$ Whole visit left a bad taste in my mouth - it was a visit to a used car salesman.

Also was quoted what it would likely cost with my Delta Dental insurance and what I would have to pay out of pocket. their estimate was completely off. For transparency of their charges I included a copy of my remaining bill

I always look forward to my hygiene visits at Advanced Smile Care. Wendy my hygienist is amazing. The office is so efficient, and everyone is very knowledgeable. The technology in the office is far superior to others that I have been to. They invest in a high level of patient care and deliver a great overall experience. The doctors at the office are really nice as well.

I haven't needed any restorative work done, but I know if I did I would be well taken care of. It seems like everyone really loves to be there and is passionate about their work.

Excellent Dental care. Gentle working employees who know what their customers needs are. I have been a customer for over 10 - 15 years. Love their customer service skills. Thanks again BO.

I got all four wisdom teeth out today. I have been dreading it for years. The numbing is almost gone and I have minimal pain. Also when getting procedures, I usually have abrasions on my lips. My mouth is in perfect condition and I feel great! (Tomorrow might be different, but for now no regrets!)

I'm one of those people who really didn't look forward to the dentist. Meticulous about my teeth however. I relocated to San Antonio and I was nervous about finding a fantastic doctor. My doctor from New England Recommend one. Horrible! I'm grateful that occurred. I found Advance Smile Care through a golf friend. Fran. I was absolutely stunned from the first time I walked through the door. Outstanding! So welcoming, kind and friendly. My dentist Dr. Thomas, incredible. I certainly would highly recommend to all. Outstanding staff and Terrific Dentist.

I love this office! They provide thw best customer service, many financial options, as well as fresh baked cookies all day long! I recently got a tooth build up and crown done. I have needed for some time but wasn't comfortable with my previous dentist. My appointment was completely pain free and probably the most comfortable I have ever been when it comes to a oral procedure.

They have the equipment to make your custom crown in office. They scanned my tooth and within 10 minutes they had my crown. The entire procedure was about 1.5-2 hours and they make sure you are happy from beginning to end. They worked on my tooth that was EXTREMELY difficult to reach (#2) and paid attention to detail to ensure it fit properly. To top it all off they called me around 845pm to make sure that everything was well. I don't know any doctor in any profession who would do that. Thank you Dr. Thomas!

I was pretty nervous going in but I was greeted with a big smile from the front desk, her name was Betsey I believe. My doctor, dr. Thusu, was funny and pleasant and did a really good job. His DA, Maria, did an excellent job with my tooth and also made sure I was very comfortable during the procedures. The prices weren't bad and they also have yummy cookies for after : 12/10 would recommend
