He is a very skilled dentist. I do not have a high tolerance for dental pain and he was able to perform the work without pain. His staff is also skilled and very friendly. His services are also reasonably priced.

I have been a patient of Dr. Softley's since 2015. He has proven himself as a kind and caring physician--well-versed and open to the needs of his patients. I invested in dental implants that he administered--and I am beyond delighted with the results to this day. I live in Moreno Valley, and as such, I have no problem making the drive down to San Marcos to receive dental care at his practice!

The staff at Softley dental is amazing. My family, including my young children, and I have been coming here for years and are always happy with the service. I've had fillings and a chipped tooth fixed here. My daughter had to get a filling and Dr. Softley was patient and caring. The hygienists are kind and gentle. I feel confident that Dr. Softley would never recommend unnecessary dental work. I would absolutely recommend Softley Dental.

Dr Softley is the most skilled dentist I have ever encountered. First, he is painless. Today I presented with a crown broken off. Actually, the tooth snapped off under the crown. He explained several costly approaches, but we settled on a very clever fix. I could not be happier. Painlessly he managed to reattach the crown in mechanically sound means, and I was up and away in an hour. It was inexpensive, too. My wife and I have enjoyed his services since we moved here in 2013. Friendly staff and dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Softley for over 11 years. It would be longer if I lived in California sooner. That alone speaks volumes about how much respect, excellent dental care and professionalism this office represents. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Softley to friends, co-workers and neighbors.

So thankful that I discovered Dr. Softleys office thru my work insurance years ago. Even after 30 years of going to the dentist I still hate being a grownup and making dental appointments, but have to say I do love this office and the people in it. They make dental work and check ups a breeze! They really work with your schedule and they are always on time! I've never sat and waited, which makes it worth this place all on its on. Professional, timely, knowledgeable and just plain nice, makes the dentist visits way more bearable for sure!

My wife and I been patients of Dr. Softley for about 15 years and are happy to recommend him. His name says it all (or at least part of it): "Softley". He and his staff are always attentive to our comfort and strive to provide pain-free, gentle dentistry. On a couple of occasions when we needed an immediate appointment, our needs were accommodated and we were graciously worked in to the schedule. We are happy to recommend Dr. Softly without reservation (although we do recommend an appointment!).

I first met Dr Softly in 2009 when I had moved to San Diego and had some extreme pain and needed a tooth removed. I lucked up and found him by driving by his old dentist office (School House Dental) and he actually came in on a Sunday to help me because he could hear the pain I was in. Even after he did the tooth removal he checked in on me, that spoke volumes on the type of person he is and the type of business he was conducting.

From that day forward myself and my son trusted only Dr. Softly with our dental needs until we moved. Moral of story if you want a good dentist who will provide you with great customer service you should try them out. I no longer live in the area otherwise I would still be utilizing his services!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Softley for about 7 years and feel he is a very fair and honest dentist. Besides regular cleanings and checkups, he's filled a few cavities and replaced a few crowns, but only when needed. Most checkups he finds nothing wrong. Prices are very reasonable and never have to pay above "reasonable" insurance costs like I had to at other dentists. The dental hygenists are very good too. Highly recommended.

I am a new patient of Dr. Softley. My dentist of 25 years retired at the same time that my health insurance changed. I chose Dr. Softley based on his very positive Yelp reviews and the convenient location of his office. I am so happy. Today I had a chipped composite tooth fixed and two shallow fillings done. I was nervous going in, since I have only trusted one dentist for most of my life.

I was quickly put at ease and I am so pleased with the way that he fixed my composite tooth. It looks better than the original. The office staff is very professional as well.

This office is amazing! Warm and welcoming, sincere and dedicated to excellent service and quality dental care! My niece hadn't been to the dentist in 3 years and is new to San Marcos. She is someone who is very anxious about going to the dentist to begin with. She had a great experience and is so happy to have found an office that put her at ease! She knows she is in good hands! The dentist himself Dr. Softley is amazing. Very friendly and a good dentist. Even the assistants are very friendly. Unfortunately he has the rudest receptionist and incompetent office manager I've ever met. Not only was I lied to about what my insurance covered until it was too late and they had partially started all my treatments, she's incapable of understanding basic communication, when she's confused, she becomes rude and condescending. You're unfortunately only as fast as the slowest teammate and I'll never be back because of her.

I can only assume she's related to the dentist because anyone with that kind of attitude, in an otherwise very friendly office, is usually acting that way because of an overinflated sense of importance.

We trust Dr. Softley and his staff with our family's dental care. He has been our dentist for over 8 years now and we can't imagine going anywhere else. We started with him when our children were relatively young, 11 and 8 years old. He and his staff were patient, kind, friendly, and fun with them. We all have loved going to Dr. Softley's office and our smiles have never been brighter!

This dental practice is amazing. The Doctor is kind and gentle, I have never had any anxiety or pain, like I have had at previous dental offices. The entire staff, from hygienist to the front office staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful. They also use all of the latest technology and tools to improve your dental experience. I have been going here for years and I refer all of my friends and family to them.

Dr. Softley's been my dentist for over ten years and I just can't imagine seeing anyone else for the important task of taking care of my my pearly whites. Great Dentist - Great staff. I've known this dentist for about 10 years and they have always been up front, honest, and sensitive to their patients' concerns. I had to have a front tooth replaced 2 years ago with a permanent 3 tooth bridge. The bridge looks very natural and is as strong as my real teeth were. Recently, they helped my mom with a canker sore in her mouth. They saw her right away and were as professional and caring as always. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.
