Long Beach Dental

I made an appointment for a cleaning, showed up early, was kept waiting half an hour. Finally, they took more x-rays than I've ever had taken, which I don't think was necessary. After that the doctor saw me, and told me it was too late to get my teeth cleaned because his staff had to go to lunch - but i was "free to leave." So I wasted an hour, and didn't even get an apology. They may be good dentists but I'll never know.

I will never go back to this place, the doctor was very rude he basically refuse my son's treatment, because I ask for a second opinion before he start the dental work. Very unprofessional! 0stars

This dentist is big scammer, he tries to sell unnecessary treatment and very pushy. Work quality was terrible as well. I was telling a friend about how bad of an office it was and she said rezkalla did shoddy work on her husbands teeth years ago in bright now dental in Norwalk. This guy should be banned from dental field and has no ethics or compassion for people and tries to fool patients with fake generosity. Beware and steer away

Dr. Rezkalla and his staff went above and beyond to help my father with his toothache. From diagnosing, extracting his tooth, making him a new crown and cleaning, he took very good care of him every step of the way. His staff are courteous and polite. Our experience with him and his office is A+.

I went in today 03/11/2021 as a new patient with severe anxiety and trauma issues. I personally hate going to the dentist because the sound of the tools/drills scares me. I haven't had good experiences in the past with dentists and I'm very fearful of them. Going in it's perfectly socially distanced, and you are screened, then temperature checked before even being seen.

I was also informed by the kindest woman over the phone that they are vaccinated as well. She walked me through everything and took her time. (COVID anxiety delayed my visits, but I assure you it's safe!) All of the staff wore full PPE and were super sanitary. The offices are beautiful, and they give you goggles so water doesn't get in your eyes, a nice tv to watch, and cute lighted art on the ceiling.

Everyone there was patient, kind and understanding. They even were uplifting and empathetic! They made me feel welcome, and I left feeling great. I want to thank everyone for your kindest today. This office is the best!

The staff is friendly and they take proper COVID precautions. They make you feel comfortable and the Dentist is AMAZING! Definitely going to keep them as my family's dentist!

Dr R did an incredible job. I came to him with a broken tooth. He knew what to do and jumped into action. Now my teeth are much better looking and feeling than they were prior to the incident! Also, I must say that Dr R is a classy individual. Upon seeing my past dental work, he asked who did it. I told him the dentist. Dr R said, "I don't know him personally but he's done really wonderful work.

It's not often that I see such excellent dentistry." To me, it takes a confident and knowledgeable person to hand out such a generous compliment. Know that Dr R knows what he's doing and strives to keep the process as painless as possible.

I'm terrified of the dentist. I hate going and always expect the worst and have had bad experiences in the past. But not with Dr. Rezkalla. He is wonderful! He's gentle, explains everything he's doing and he's so quick you don't even notice you're done. Affordable, clean and friendly. This is the best dentist I've found in LBC

I was able to get in quickly without an appointment. I like the place. They explained my situation, insurance, and the recommended treatment. I am happy with the treatment.

Holas. My first dentist experience here in Long Beach, California. The location is super close to where I live. A friend of mine went there and said he was pleased. I am transitioning as transgender so any new dentist, anything new can be an adventure. I made it clear when I set the appointment that though my insurance has me as male gender. that I am trans Latina.

In my first appointment I was greeted well. The technician for the xrays was very professional. Carmen was cool. The doctor was very cordial. Easy to talk to, relaxed and upbeat. Its been almost two years since being at the dentist. I had facial feminization and my jaw and chin was contoured so I wanted to wait a while. My teeth were fine, no cavities. I had a cleaning and the technician and doctor did a great job. My experience was very positive here.

Great experience, staff super friendly and nice. Went for my 2nd cleaning and quite satisfied. The doctor took his time with my procedure. Teeth feel great. Will come back again for sure. Place was clean, and orderly.

Dr. Rizkalla is a very honest man. He gives you his honest recommendation and advice. He doesn't use you to make money. He does a thorough job and doesn't rush in his decisions. His dental assiastants are very kind and profissional. My kids, ages 10 and 7 (first time), felt very comfortable as they were explained every step of the xray, cleaning, and dental check process. Got a cute present at the end. Very cheerful and peacful place. High-end technology devices. Very clean. I drive for a long distance to go to him because I trust him. Great family dentist!

Used Dentist HMO for the first time and got him. While his office has a bunch of new cameras and stuff, his cleaning job was not thorough at all. It was like using a sonic brush and he was done in less than 5 mins. He was more interested in selling me stuff that I didn't need (i.e., mouth guard), which I did purchase. When the mouth guard got holes in it only after a month's use, they refused to fix it and the staff didn't even call me back to confirm if insurance would cover it or not.

While I don't know much about the dentist because I never reached a point of having him work on me, his office staff was so unprofessional and dishonest that I chose not to go forward. Additionally, they charge for x-rays that they send to other doctors. I have not experienced this with any other dentist.

The office is pleasant, clean and inviting. I didn't have to wait and all assistants were pleasant, smiling and efficient. Mr. ATEF REZKALLA D.D.S is a great dentist: caring and very professional. My crown was perfect and my experience was great. I have already recommended him to my husband who was in need of a new dentist.

I have been using Long Beach Dental for several years now and my overall experience is great. The staff though are busy yet professional and very pleasant. I always get a reminder call for my appointments. They are willing to work with my busy schedule and were able to reschedule me on short notice a couple of times. The clinic is very clean and neat. The dentist is very knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain what he will do and answer all my questions. I never had to go back for a re-work.
