We've moved a lot. Which means we've experienced our fair share of dentists. So when we found ourselves less than enthused about our dentist in Folsom, we thought we'd give a neighbor's raving reviews of Dr. DiMariano a shot, but not expect much. Boy, were we wrong! My husband (who often needs deep cleanings, ) BOTH had an incredible experience from top to bottom.

Our cleanings left us feeling pearly fresh, but beyond that, the staff from the first phone call to Dr. DiMariano herself left us feeling like we were a part of the family. When we called to cancel our appointment because we are finally moving back home, she even sent a hand written note to us, remembering personal interactions we had and wishing us well. Thank you Dr. DiMariano for going above and beyond in every way. We will miss you!

Every single person at this practice were so kind, professional, caring and helpful when I visited to have some emergency work done. Dr. Shaina DiMariano and Cynthia looked after me like one of their own, and continue to do so. As well as being extremely empathetic, they are top notch in their field. Utterly talented and kind. I can't begin to tell you how amazing this staff is. She treats my whole family and I can't tell you how comfortable they are going to see her. Shaina and her staff will make sure you are comfortable, knowledgeable and include you in any decisions about your dental needs. I was terrified by dentists before I went to her office and now I don't give it a second thought.

I know when I go in I will be informed and comfortable and never in pain. My son needed braces and was terrified of Dentist before we went to see Shaina. He went back all by himself on the first visit and never needed anybody to go back with him again!she's treated both my children and my husband my mother and every single person who's ever met her or her staff has felt absolutely compelled to make sure they go back! Don't even question it, her staff and her bedside manner are the best you will ever get.

If they gave awards for biggest chicken when it comes to dental care. I would win. hands down. I had avoided going for many years, due a horrible experience. I've been coming here now for a year or so I think. Time seems to disappear when I am in their care why? Because they treat me with such care and patience. I don't feel like I am exasperating them with my questions and panicking. Not to mention they make me laugh till I can't breath! I'm not saying I "Love" going to the Dentist. But I do love the staff!

Never in my life have I been to a dentist office and it felt like visiting a friends home. That's how comfortable and relaxed they make you feel. Going to the dentist here is not a fear, but actually looked forward to! My kids love it here too. Dr. Shaina and staff are a whole family favorite. Have been a patient at Dr. DiMariano's for the last 5/6 years. Not only is the Doc amazing, the rest of the team makes the experience of having any dental work enjoyable! They're always efficient, organized, and professional while doing so. I've been in a lot of dentist offices over the years (4 oral surgeries, braces, Invisalign, multiple chipped teeth) and I can confidently say the work done at Dr. DiMariano's office was superior.

I have nothing but praise to offer for this wonderful group of dental professionals. For my first visit, I had to have the crown replaced on a front tooth, which for me was an emergency. I was relatively new to the area at the time, and was accepted as a new patient & was able to get an appointment sooner than I'd expected. Tooth was replaced to my satisfaction, my other concerns have been addressed and we've discussed additional work to be done. Very thorough. I'm verry happy.

Dr DiMariano and her team have change my view on trips to the dentist. The energy in the office is fun and positive, making the time spent in the chair actually enjoyable (which I would never had said about a dentist prior to visiting their office). I came into the office for the first time looking for a better solution then my old dentist could give me for an on going "snaggle tooth" issue. Dr Dimariano and Cynthia walked me through a process that included teeth whitening and a new tooth veneer.

The entire journey has been pain free and professional, left me feeling really good, and has my wife chasing me around the house again! Thank you to Dr. Dimariano and the whole office team. Patient for life!

We moved to the area and were recommended to DiMariano Family Dentistry by family members. We had our first visit as a family (3 yr old and 5 yr old) and they came out with smiles and talking about their next teeth cleaning. Everyone in the office was amazing. They took the time to talk with me after the kids were done. They also sent personalized thank you/greeting cards to us.

Our son just took a face plant on his scooter and of course his mouth took the brunt of the fall. Dr. DiMariano came in on her off day to take x-rays and check his teeth. We highly recommend them. Wonderful experiences all around.

Dr. and the whole staff at the office are some of the most amazing and caring people I have ever met! They always make you feel welcome and taken care of the entire time! I may be one of the weird ones, but I LOVE going to the dentist and can't wait until my next appointment.

Dr. D is friendly, warm, funny, capable- and she listens and respects her patients' input. As a major bonus- her office staff ROCKS. They really want patients to have the best experiences and try VERY hard to make sure I get the appointment I need.

Dr. DiMariano and her staff are so nice and do a great job with me and my family members (including my little ones!). A lot of them are moms so are very understanding when any issues come up related to kids. The hygienists make the visit comfortable, and everyone is timely and professional. I am so happy we found this place for the whole family! My two year old loves the dentist!

Dr Shaina is so gentle and kind to my two, very active, boys. We are so lucky to have such a caring dentist who truly wants the beat for our family.

Absolutely the worse and I didn't even get seen. and the reason being is the front office (after several ) attempts never got back to me nor my family regarding appointments and insurance coverage. So, if that is how it's ran before even being seen just imagine how the dentist work

I love, love, LOVE Dr. DiMariano and every single hygienist that I've had on my visits here! Every person you come into contact with is genuinely kind and always happy to see you. They make you feel valued and important, remembering little details about conversations from previous visits. As a self proclaimed "white knuckle" patient, I can not say enough good things about Dr. DiMariano and her staff. Patient comfort is a top priority. I feel like I am a high maintenance patient yet they were so patient and understanding. I just had a crown and a filling done and it was as pleasurable as that sort of thing could possibly be. So very grateful that I was referred to this practice!

I like Dr Shaina dimariano and her dental assistants very much. The place is clean, nice decor, and inviting hygiene wise. I am not sure if this is common with every dentist office but why is the receptionist sound like she is trying to get over with the phone call so fast. I am not saying they are rude with words, however, being impatient with rushing the conversation, or just sounds like they are being bothered is not really pleasant. Receptionists, or even a host at the restaurant are the face and first impression for the customer/guest of how their experience would be once they came in, or just made a simple phone call.

Dr. DiMariano and her staff are awesome! I felt incredibly comfortable from the moment I walked thru the door until I was finished with my procedure. Would highly recommend!

Such a great experience! I've always dreaded going to the dentist but it is such a pleasant experience here. The staff is great and and the atmosphere is in nice. I highly recommend.

I've been going here for almost 2 years. First started with my daughter and son and loved the care both received so I became a patient as well. They took the time to talk to my like a person and not just a patient. With them I have been able to overcome some issues I have had for years, see real improvement in my dental health, and not just repairing my mistakes afterward. Earlier this year I also became an ortho patient as well.

It has been one of the best experiences at a dentist I have ever had. They have been kind and helpful through all of the pain and struggles in my ortho work. Never letting me waver from my end goals and giving me all the confidence and tools to succeed.

This was the worst dentistry experience I have ever had on multiple levels. The cleaning they did was painful, and imprecise, it didn't seem that the dental assistant was paying attention to what they were doing, talking to (and looking at) the other dental assistant nearly the entire time she was working on my teeth. When the dentist came in to look at my x-rays, she told me I would have to get several fillings that previous dentists (and a second opinion) have all told me are not necessary to have fixed any time soon, and can be on a watch schedule.

They also "recommended" strongly several procedures my new dentist has also said are unnecessary. The one cavity I did have them fix, was scratchy and irritating until I had my new dentist smooth it out. After all of this, they also incorrectly billed my insurance, and would not take the time or effort to fix their own mistake, instead sending my claim to collections - after I had contacted them several times to let them know what was going on. They demanded payment for a bill my insurance always covers, and told me I would have to take it up with my insurance company because they will not take the time to refile.

I tried to schedule appt. as a new patient and indicated I only needed a cleaning as I would have my prev. out of state dentist send the xrays to this dr. Gave my health ins. info. to the lady at the front desk. She called the ins. co to verify my coverage (cleanings are covered 100% as routine, preventative care). I asked for a flat price quote for a simple cleaning/exam out of pocket (thinking I would have to pay them and seek reimb. from my ins. co. myself), the receptionist would not give me a straight answer. Instead, she started babbling about how "state law forbids me from diagnosing" in advance. Huh?

Who was asking or expecting a receptionist to diagnose anything? LOL. She also told me that a simple cleaning/exam/xrays would require more than one visit. This smacks of trying to pad their profits by turning a simple cleaning into unnecessary procedures. When I returned a day or so later with my Dental Cert. of Coverage to prove preventive care coverage at 100% and make an appt., as I walk in I said hello and stood in line behind the patient at the counter. Suddenly, a woman sitting behind the receptionist raced out and literally ordered me to sit down.

I took a seat and waited several minutes. When the man at the counter finished talking to the receptionist and left, minutes passed and I was still not even acknowledged. Finally, after a few minutes more, I got up, walked over to the front desk, but by then the receptionist was chattering on the phone and ignoring me. Not even a "hi" or "be right with you" (Customer Service 101), nothing. Instead, the mean chick behind the receptionist glared at me and loudly snarled (looking at the receptionist), "I told her to wait until her name was called!" After that taste of front office rudeness and evasiveness, I left in disgust. Glad I didn't waste a plug nickel on this place.

New patient as of 6 months ago and have had several visits. Some cleaning and some work - cavities. Am very impressed so far. Dr. DiMariano is easy to talk to, explains procedures well and works quickly and without pain. Was surprised when she diagnosed a subtle problem with my mouth and relieved that she was able to prescribe something and it cleared right up.

The staff is also great. Friendly but not overly chatty. My prior dentist's staff kind of drove me up the wall with extra chit chat, in one case about their own personal lives and health. When you're in the chair you're captive so prefer not to feel like its going to be a 30 minute conversation. : So no problem with that here. I also liked their office tech.

Never had this before but they use a rubber shield inside the mouth during cavities that prevents any fluid from collecting in the back of the mouth. Also suctions automatically. I'm a bit of a tech geek but also thought that was more convenient than having to say "Gahhaa-haaa" whenever I needed suction. Very good dentist and a very good office as well.

My first visit to Dr. DiMariano's office wasn't awful. I called asking to get a routine cleaning, and arrived to find out that I would not be getting a cleaning, but instead I would be getting a full set of xrays. Come to find out I need a root canal on a tooth that had a crown placed one year prior. The procedure went well, and I liked Dr. DiMariano.

I just went back for a cleaning this past week, and it too, went well. I scheduled an appointment for my husband as well. Today, I called the office, with more than 24 hr notice and asked to reschedule his appointment, as he may have to work late due to Thursday being a holiday. I was told I'd be charged a $10 fee to do this. I then asked if I could just keep the appointment since he might be able to make it.

She then said, if there is a no show it is a $50 fee. I find it completely ridiculous that a first time reschedule with 24 hours notice would charge a fee of any kind. While I like Dr. DiMariano, the policies and communication of his staff are not something I wish to deal with again.
