Pediatric dentistry is an age-defined specialty that provides comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. To become a pediatric dental specialist, a dentist must satisfactorily complete a minimum of two years in an accredited advanced education program following graduation from dental school. At Cornerstone Children's Dentistry, we make every effort to make the dental office a fun place for your child.
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), your child should visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday. Making the first and every visit enjoyable. At Cornerstone Children's Dentistry, our primary focus is on preventive oral healthcare for your child.
In order to allow the best possible care for your child, we reserve a specific time just for you and make every effort to see your child as scheduled. We appreciate your promptness and your consideration in not changing your scheduled time. However, if you need to change your appointment, a 24-hour notice is required.
Here at CCD, we all know just how easy and fast a child can fall and get hurt. We recommend you not hesitate to take your child to the emergency room or dial 911 in the event your child's life is at risk. If you feel your child's injury effects their teeth or jaw, please call us at 843-556-1655. Dr. Paul or an on-call dentist can advise you on the best next moves to help save your child's tooth or direct you to the emergency room if needed.

I am a Dentist, and I take my daughter to Cornerstone Dentistry. Dr. Paul and his entire staff are caring and patient. While in the office I observed that all patients and families being seen were being given a high level of personal attention. This is a great practice, and I would highly recommend them.

We've been seeing Dr. Paul since our oldest daughter turned one. Now she's 3 and her younger sister is 2! The waiting room is fun with toys and video games but we never have to wait more than 5 minutes The entire staff is friendly, understanding and extremely patient when it comes to little ones. They give great advice about brushing/flossing and even have prize drawers for the girls when they're done! I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Paul and his staff.

I found out about Cornerstone when they came to my work for our job fair at St Francis, The ladies that I met were extremely friendly and answered all of the questions I had. I started having issues with the dentist we have been going to and decided to try Cornerstone and I am SO glad I did! The office staff greeted us as soon as we walked into the office!
Our wait time to go back to start my sons cleaning was less than 5 minutes. Everyone there from the office ladies to Dr Paul were fantastic! I highly recommend this practice to anyone! My 4 yr old has never asked to go back to the dentist before, but asked this morning on the way to school if we could go back today and see everyone.

My three-year old bumped her tooth out of place. In a panic, I called Cornerstone to see what I should do. The receptionist was very kind and immediately checked with Dr. Paul and told me to come in right away. They were able to fit us in very late in the afternoon. We waited for all of about one minute before being seen once we arrived. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We always appreciate how welcoming and knowledgeable the entire staff is, but this particular experience has exceeded our expectations.

Amazing experience all around! The whole staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and made my son feel very comfortable. I was a bit worried about how my 3 year old son would react to his first teeth cleaning but he left with a smile on his face and ready to go back again. He loved it and it's because everyone was so wonderful and it was such a positive experience for him!

Dr. Paul is truly an amazing pediatric dentist who connects with all ages and types of kids. As a parent of three I wanted to find someone I could trust and provide the best care for my children.
