At Baker and Ochs Family Dentistry our goal is to provide optimal oral health for all of our patients. Our entire dental team works together to thoroughly and efficiently reach that goal. At cleaning appointments a complete examination of the teeth, gums and entire mouth will be performed along with periodic x-rays to find any disease conditions in the early stages.

Very happy with this practice and Dr. Baker. Hadn't gone to the dentist in years, (decades really - generally blessed with good teeth), but that finally caught up with me last fall when my back molar really started hurting and needed a root canal and crown. Dr. Baker and her staff were really cool about it and fixed me right up. Since then, I'm back on the straight and narrow and had my first 6-month cleaning yesterday.
Everything is in good shape and the hygienist said my gums are in great shape. I need to go back for a filling in about a week, which we postponed from last year since my insurance was used up from the crown work last year. Baker & Ochs is about 5 minutes from home and so convenient. I look forward to having a clean dental bill of health.

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Baker is a great dentist. The staff is friendly, and the service is great. I have primarily gone to this dentist since I was a child. The reasons from the review stems from a billing issue. As a preface, before Feb. 2020, I had not gone to any dentist in a few years, and it was 5+ years since my last visit here.
Before I scheduled my first appointment in Feb. 2020, I asked the clerk if they accepted my insurance. I was told that I was all set and went forward with the appointment. Since this appointment, I have scheduled several other appointments under the impression that I was covered by my insurance. It was not until I received a $361.00 invoice that did not stated the services for which I was charged that I began to wonder what caused this balance.
During my discussions with the office manager, I was informed that my insurance was out-of-network the whole time. If I was informed about this initially, I would have seen an in-network dentist or could have at least chosen to incur out-of-pocket expenses with Baker & Ochs because of past history. Every other Dr. office that I use, has been able to verify my coverage before an appointment to ensure that my visit will be covered. The discussions about the bill was not handled in a respectful manner in my opinion by the office manager. No remedy was given concerning the amount owed on my bill.

If I could rate a zero I would. I have very good dental insurance which allows me to pay nothing out of pocket so you can imagine my surprise when I am getting a bill upwards of $200. Apparently after my visit they discovered that they are no longer participating with my insurance and asking me to pay the Bill. During my visit my insurance was verified because I was given a price for a mouth guard so this is clearly an issue that they have created.
The office repeatedly calls me to pay the bill and will not budge. Beware of choosing this office based on your insurance network because they are not doing their part in verifying!

One star only because I couldn't make it zero. The dentist service is okay but the worst customer service I have ever had. They offered a free cleaning to me and told me they misunderstood that my insurance didn't actually cover it (even though it was a service they offered for free) and sent me a bill. I have tried to dispute this many times only to be laughed at, hung up on, and belittled, even personally by the doctor (Dr. Baker). I will not be going here ever again.

I decided to try Baker and Ochs because they were recommended by my insurance provider. And I'm so happy I went with them! Everyone there was so friendly and super helpful. And Dr. Baker was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering my questions. I also appreciate the text message and email reminders about my upcoming appointments! They also give you an option to create a login through their website to check appointment times and bills of service. It's great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have dental work done! They are my go to from now on!

Never thought I would give a dental office a high rating - let alone 5 stars but please believe it! My 7 year old came here rather nervous about a visit. From the time we arrived until we left everyone we met was beyond pleasant. As soon as we arrived, we were told that they were running behind and offered us the option to run next door for lunch (since they'd be cleaning his teeth anyways).
As soon as we arrived back we were brought in to the exam room and the assistant and hygienist were all amazing explaining every tool and procedure to my son. It made a very scary experience turn into an exciting one. Have you ever heard a kid say "I can't wait to go back to the dentist. It's fun!"? I have. I chose this office because it was the closest in proximity to our house that accepted our insurance - If we move, I'll still drive across town to come here.
