I really like these guys. I left the chains many years ago after experiencing marginal service. The attention to detail is great and I feel like they really get after my teeth. Very clean when I leave. This last visit, I had a cleaning, took a mold for a crown replacement, and set up a sleep study, all in the same visit. Now that's some great service.

If you are looking for a GREAT Family Dentist, Dr Lawrence and his team are the ones! They are so special! They care about you and treated us like family! My husband had to have all new dentures to replace the ones he has had for 20 years. They worked with us to make an affordable plan. I am so grateful God put these people in our lives! Honest, friendly, and caring! The BEST!

I've never experienced a failed root canal in all my many years until now. It's a nightmare! I was originally incorrectly told any swelling was due to teeth grinding. Stop reading now if visuals cause emesis. Apparently the root canal was incomplete leaving a portion of the root untouched and sealing in infection that eventually caused deep swelling to the point of bone protruding, and sinus blocking.
Now after several failed fixes am awaiting oral surgery (during a pandemic). Of course this happened when prescription pain medication ceased and my tolerance for pain is low. Good news I've dropped 35 pounds, and altered my diet substantially. Unfortunately it's not enough to fix these ailments or eliminate the pain and discomfort.

I had two cleanings (which were ok) and was told I needed a filling. That experience was horrific. The way my mouth and face were handled was extremely painful. It seemed like he had a very difficult time. I never experienced this before. When I went home and months later the tooth and filling never felt right. So, I never went back. My current dentist informed that I need a crown on that same tooth because it's cracked. I can't help but to believe this is the result of whatever was done to my mouth.

My dentist told me my fillings needed to be replaced because they were worn. However I had records from the dentist who did the work and it was too recent to be so worn. I don't eat rocks lol I was quoted by m smiles in the thousands after their cleaning. New dentist said should've never happened when work was recent. That's what made them wonder what happened. Got the work done for a lot less. My crown was destroyed after m smiles too. Not good to have to repeat recent dental work especially when all I had done was deep cleaning more like deep clean your wallet!

I originally went to Dr. Lawrence for my sleep apnea. He explained to me about an oral device that would help with my sleep apnea. I decided to do this rather than go with a cpap. The oral device has worked beautifully. I liked the way Dr. Lawrence took the time to work with me and answered all my questions and concerns. I decided to start using him for all my dental needs. My husband switched over to him also. We have been very pleased with his staff and the care they all have provided.

While I had good cleaning experiences here. the one time I went in for an actual procedure it was a nightmare. I had gotten my wisdom teeth extracted, and while I was under a couple fillings done. During my extraction my first two teeth were still moderately awake, bringing me to tears in the chair. Afterwards I went home and advised all instructions/medicine given.
Not to mention i was given a quote and my card was charged nearly 500$ more, and the reception could never explain this to me. also i was never given a call back in these regards. The pain never stopped. I couldn't even open my mouth till the stitches were removed because my gum had been sewn to my cheek on side. For a month after I was in shaking pain and taking max Tylenol and Advil dosages.
Finally I got enough gusto to come back in and we did an x ray, to come to the conclusion Dr. Lawrence had drilled too far on what was mearly a start of a cavity, and placed the filling on a live nerve. It's been 10 months and I haven't been to the dentist since. this dentist office has given me awful anxiety and fear of getting my teeth worked on, I do NOT recommend UPDATE: I've received a second opinion.
I went to an specialist to get an all over check on my teeth. I've had to make 3 appointments in the past week to get to the conclusion that the two teeth that Dr. Lawrence had worked on are now in need of root canals because the previous dental work was so poor. He left live nerve in a root canal and set a filling on top of a second live nerve. This doctor is a scam and does not have your best interest in mind.

Great dentist and great office! The whole staff was so friendly and helpful. They did a good job with my appointment (just a routine cleaning), and I liked that they explained everything they were doing. I've also been to dentists where I felt like they were trying to squeeze every bit of money they could out of me, and this was not like that at all. I would definitely recommend McKinney Smiles!

So my last dentist stopped taking my dental insurance. It was $100 out of pocket the last time I went in for a cleaning, because the dentist was now out of network. Now, I was left to find a new dentist because my next appointment would have X-rays and I was fearful on how much that would cost. Also, what if at some point down the road I needed actual work done.
I pay for insurance I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for routine exams. McKinney Smiles is really close to my work. So it seemed like a perfect place to try that took my insurance. It was a wonderful cleaning. Dr. Lawrence was very thorough and answered all my questions. The hygienist was easy to talk to and very gentle. I look forward to many happy returns.

The staff here are fantastic. I was trying to get in as a new patient before the end of the year and they managed to fit me in. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in the door. I hadn't been to a dentist in at least 5 years, but Angela did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Lawrence was pleasant, helpful, and took his time speaking with me. The whole staff really wants to get to know you. I'll be back!

We were there today for my 5 year old's exam and cleaning. Nicole the hygienist and Dr. Lawrence were GREAT with my child. We didn't even have a wait in the lobby, which was really nice. Everyone there was very friendly. My son loved his prize from the treasure chest and reward coupon for no cavities! We have finally found our family dentist!
