Dr. Pugh received his Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University in 1990. While at Samford he was a leader in several organizations including the Tri-Beta Honor Society, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and served as President of the Student Government Association. In 1994 Dr. Pugh graduated with honors and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UAB School of Dentistry.

Outstanding from start to finish. I'm a new patient and have never been met with such warmth, caring and professionalism from every one. The office personnel went above and beyond to get me in as soon as possible. This is how a physicians office should be. I highly recommend Dr. Pugh and staff. I went in today to have a cavity filled but was experiencing pain in my jaw and neck. Dr. Pugh was thorough in asking questions and said I might need a root canal, which was what he ended up doing. The procedure went well and he is very experienced so I felt relaxed, like I was in good hands. He always offers a joke or two and makes me laugh. His assistant, Lauren, is friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable. I really liked her. The front office is always friendly. I like the fact that they are so organized. It was a pleasant experience.

These people are the best in the city. I have never been more proud to have Dr. Pugh and his staff as my dentist. I left Valleywide Dental and they were great but Dr Pugh and his practice is a million time better they are amazing the GREATEST I will not use another dentist and I'm gonna bring my entire family to Dr. PUGH.

Staff was very friendly and personable. I was brought back to the exam room very close to my appointment time and I didn't wait long in the room. Dr Pugh and his assistant were very concerned with my comfort and asked a few times if I was ok and not in pain. I would definitely recommend anyone to have Dr Pugh as their personal dentist.

Let me start by saying that I do NOT like going to the dentist. I would recommend this office 10 times out of 10! They are AMAZING! By far the best dentist experience I have had in my adult life. All of the staff are kind and professional and Dr Pugh is courteous, quick, and careful. I was well informed and treated with top notch care.
