Dentistry draws on so many of my natural interests in science and art, and ability of working and creating with my hands. An initial comprehensive exam is done to collect the information necessary to address specific individual concerns, detect dental disease, and evaluate the looks and function of the teeth. Periodontal charting: A detailed measurement of where the gums actually attach to the tooth in order to assess the health of the gums and bone supporting the teeth.
Over the years, coffee, tea, and tobacco, can cause a gradual discoloration of the teeth. This kind of staining will often respond quite well to professional bleaching. The results you see here were achieved in the span of one month. Notice the contrast between the same reference shade to the left of the front teeth in both pictures. The final result is pictured below. Now that's something to smile about!
Above left is pictured typical amalgam or silver filling. Notice the gray cast this filling material gives to the rest of the tooth. In the After picture these fillings have been replaced with precision crafted porcelain inlays. This technique can help recapture the natural look of the original tooth once again. As a new patient, I was very impressed. I called with an issue and was given an appointment the very next day. I was able to fill out all of my info sheets in advance from a download. Love that! Clean office. Friendly staff and Dr. Volk was very nice. Great work without any "up sale" of work not needed. Highly recommend.

Dr. Volk and his staff are an incredible group of people. Being a new resident in the area, they made me feel welcome, comforted, and gave a great environment to be a patient in. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about their profession and was genuinely honest about what needed to be done. Would highly recommend this office.

We have been Dr. Volk's patients for many years and like his excellent service very much. He and his staff are always courteous and friendly, you don't have to wait long, you get treated right on time, service is done very professionally and results are excellent. He also is very current with the latest dental technology.
