As for how Dr. Swatt cleans teeth? He is one of the best dentists around. As for his billing department? They are just awful. They sent a bill to my parents house for a bill i was not remotely responsible for. The girls in the billing department know my ex-wife, and she took my kid in to have some work done. Since my kid really needed the work, my family graciously decided to pitch in.
When we paid about 250 out of the $390 bill, my ex told them to bill me the rest. and they did! They sent the bill to the only address they had, which was the billing address for the credit card, so my parents received a nice bill in the mail. When I called up the office, the front desk person Casey had no interest in hearing what I was saying, took responsibility for nothing, and hung up on me when I was about to recite the 4 or 5 california dental billing codes the office broke.
I was unhappy, but I was not rude. She just didn't want to accept the fact that they had royally screwed up and when I asked them to apologize to my family for this fiasco, she flat out refused. Dr. Swatt is a terrific dentist. It's too bad he has front desk staff that are more concerned with avoiding blame then taking responsibility for their errors. Thank goodness I am with someone who is an expert in this field of law, so they will have their hands full if they decide to keep up this pompous attitude with me,
