Apple Dentistry - Bernice A Leschinsky

The receptionist lady there, I believe her name is "Wendy" is one of the rudest receptionists I've ever come across. They won't be seeing my face again.

Cancelled an appointment we made months ago at the last minute. The only option they gave us was one and a half months later. Claimed there's only one dentist at the practice when there are two listed on their website and two listed on my insurance provider list. There also seems to be a different dentist every time we would go there - it's like a revolving door.

Not very reassuring. We're looking for another dentist. The receptionist, Wendy, was also very RUDE when we called. Not the best way to keep clients and not professional AT ALL.

Love the service, their way of caring for their patients, exhibiting patience and understanding their needs, the office admin Wendy is great and friendly to talk to. They get to know their patients and family that accompany them. I recommend this place to all!

Another amazing experience at Apple Dentistry due to Dr. Arefian, Wendy, and Irina, they are the best! Always professional, kind, and generous with their time. I have been a patient for over 10 years at this office and would never go anywhere else. Thank you! Phyllis

They moved my appointment to the other date, unfortunately I had to cancel the appointment. When I called them in front of the door to access to the building for my appointment, they told me they did not have appointment with me because I didn't call back to set up and confirmed the appointment. Instead of apologize, the lady on the phone blamed on me and lied about that I did not call back to confirm the appointment. Really! wow! Luckily, my iPhone recorded that I did call on the 11/09/20. Thank you so much for all you have done to help me! I have not been a fan of the dentist until meeting Wendy and the staff at Apple Dentistry. Wendy and Irene are knowledgeable, kind and supportive, and in every way they have gone beyond my expectations. Dr. Arefian is a Godsend! I have been excited about going to the dentist from now on! My Dentist confidently explained everything in detail to ensure I could trust her skills and helped reinforce my decisions with care and concern. Wendy and Irene supported me and followed up after my visit. Wendy went above and beyond to get my insurance to comply and the billing was clear and reasonable as they allowed me to pay in installments as work was completed, what a convenience!

I am grateful to have found this dental office and will highly recommend this office to all my family and friend, and tell them of the great service I received. Looking forward to my next visit!

If you need a dentist, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of this place. I went in for a checkup and cleaning. I had a wound under my tongue which needed attention. The dentist said she thought it might possibly be a bite trauma. She showed me one on the other side. She refused to comment on it. She freaked me out more than I already was.

She looked at my xrays and said everything was fine. She spent maybe a minute brushing my teeth with gritty toothpaste and left the room. I had to call for help bc I needed water to rinse. She gave me the names of 3 oral surgeons and told me to go to one of them if the wounds weren't gone. She said there was no need for me to return to her. When I called and asked to speak to the owner I was only allowed to speak to the receptionist/office manager.

Her response was that I didn't come back in two weeks. Did I go to the oral surgeon. I went to my gp who put me on antibiotics which cleared up the infection. It became obvious that I bit my tongue. Her response was that the dentist couldn't prescribe antibiotics for that. Needless to say, no one is allowed to speak to someone beyond the receptionist and who cares if the dentist charges you for a cleaning that took one minute. I am so grateful that I didn't have any cavaties!

I highly recommend apple dentistry in fair lawn to anyone in need of any kind of dental work. I had a great experience in this office, so I had infection in one of my teeth and I was in a lot of pain, I called many dental offices but they refused to see me in the same day so I called this office and explained the situation that I was in and Wendy at the front desk was able to get me in the same day.

I truly appreciate the kind, ,c aring and professional service that I received there specially at the time of great need. The entire staff at this office is kind, caring, polite and knowledgeable, so you won't be disappointed. I will always go to apple dentistry from now on and may god bless them for being there for me when I was In excruciating pain.

I had my first appointment here yesterday (7/19/2018) and could not be happier with the care I received. I was greeted by an extremely friendly woman at the front desk who set me up with the least amount of paperwork I have ever needed to fill out at any doctor's office ever. Took about 5 minutes to fill out the 2 pages and then I was taken for my appointment 10 minutes early.

My doctor was Dr. Lee and she was very friendly and personable. I thought I was going to have a cavity since I had not been to the dentist about 10 years. However, after about 8 X-rays I was told there are no cavities for me to worry about and that I just have a tooth sensitivity. I received a thorough cleaning of my teeth which is still noticeable now. I highly recommend this facility. I will be taking all of my future oral care here. Thank you for making going to the dentist far less painful. Bobby

I am not sure if the office personnel is pleasant. I never made it in to see the dentist because of how rude Wendy was to me over the phone. I called to cancel an appointment and she started to lecture me about making appointments and cancelling them. When I told her something urgent came up, she hung up on me. If I scheduled an appointment with a dentist because I am in pain and I cancel the appointment, it is probably something of an urgent manner to continue to deal with the tooth pain.

Very nice dentistry. The dentist is great and very gentle! All the staff is very nice and helpful. There is also a discount for teeth whitening. If you order in-office teeth whitening, or at-home teeth whitening, you get $50 dollars off of the price of the teeth whitening! Overall, I can say that this is a wonderful dentistry, and they are very good with kids!

I called and made an appointment on very short notice. I had tooth pain and was about to leave for vacation. Dr Lee did an excellent job diagnosing and addressing the issue. Everyone in the office as very professional and accommodating. I left with a much healthier mouth than when I came in.

The woman that picks up the phone is extremely rude. She decided to give me a lecture about canceling my appointment. They require 24 hour notice to cancel. If I scheduled an appointment the day prior, there isn't 24 hours. If I called to schedule an appointment with the dentist stating that I was in pain and had to cancel, obviously it has to be something worth me having to deal with tooth pain.

I called 3 different times and let the phone ring for over a minute, they picked up the 3 rd time I called. I will not be going to this dentist. I will def not recomend them to anyone.

My family has been going to Apple Dentistry for several years. The office staff is friendly and pleasant to work with. Wendy is very accommodating with scheduling my appointments. Dr. Velardi and Irina are kind, patient and answers any questions we may have to make sure we feel comfortable with the procedures. -Grace B.

For over 10 years my family and I have been patients at Apple Dentistry. I have referred them to countless people looking for excellent dental care. Dr. Guelfguat is an exceptional dentist and health advocate in general. She and her assistant are gentle, soft-spoken, polite, and conservative in their evaluations. Wendy, the office manager, is pleasant, responsive, and generous with her time in reviewing patients insurance information.

I would not recommend this place for anything unless it's just getting your teeth cleaned. I Wasted my time with them and they made dentures that didn't even come close to fitting my mouth. After surgery when the dentures didn't fit they told me they were sorry and I should call somebody else. That was two years ago and I'm still walking around without teeth. I wouldn't trust these people for anything more than teeth cleaning. Go here at your own risk.

Wonderful dentist and the assistants are so friendly. Too bad the receptionist isn't very good at customer service. Told me I was in network, did some work then got my statement of explanation from my insurance and it turns out my insurance is out of network. Called to cancel and she wouldn't let me get a word in when I told her I'm out of network. Kept saying that she doesn't see any where that I'm out of network about 10 times. Eventually, I had to be mean and told her that I'm not lying and I'm not sure what happened.

She then said, "you know what, you know what, Bye." Awesome! Instead of working it out as is part of her job she completely hung up on me. I call that a grumpy, old woman. What a shame. Hope they get another receptionist, maybe someone that knows what their doing!
