You can feel it the minute you walk in the door. This is no ordinary dental office. Actually, it's more of a home than an office. We're located in a charming Victorian house, carefully restored with all the comforts and tools of modern dentistry. Since 1939, when Dr. Howard Curtis first began practicing in this location, this warm and welcoming home has been a dental practice for generations of area residents. In the late 1980's, when Dr. Bryan Cecchi took over the practice, people who were first brought here as kids, now bring their own children here.
I answer to a lot of names, just ask my kids - I have three currently in those colorful teen years. To give you a brief sketch of who I am, I was raised in western Pennsylvania and came to Philadelphia to attend Villanova. After graduation, I enrolled in the Temple University School of Dentistry and earned my DMD degree.
If you know your local history, then you may know that our stately Victorian building once housed the dental practice of Dr. Howard Curtis. He faithfully served patients here for almost 50 years. In 1987, he retired and sold his practice to Dr. Bryan Cecchi. Since then, under the name Media Dental Arts, we have continued the tradition of providing state-of-the-art dental care for the community. Same dedication. Same location. Over the years, this historic Victorian home and office has been carefully restored.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. Dr. Cecchi and his team are very knowledgeable, supportive and patient. I've suffered from mild gum disease and recession, and seeing the team at Media Dental Arts has greatly improved my oral health. The hygienists take time to explain proper home care and are never condescending. They've even taken calls from me in between appointments when I had questions on how to properly brush and floss. Recently, Dr. Cecchi applied veneers to my front teeth to correct long lasting deficiencies in my smile. I could not be happier with the results. For the first time in over 10 years, I finally have a healthy and confident smile. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely practice, had a great visit that was in stark contrast to the other big dentist in media, which feels like a dental farm. This one feels very down to earth and doesn't attempt to do completely unnecessary work or lie to you. Everyone was friendly and genuine, I definitely will be returning!

Media Dental Arts is really excellent. They have seen me through a crown, cleanings, and regular checkups over a period of years. The staff and Dr Cecchi listen well, are resourceful, and are always friendly. They explain complicated matters clearly. The office is a super clean and calm environment in a beautiful historical building. They are highly professional and use state-of-the-art technology. Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue. We have been at this practice as a whole family for many years and have experienced only the best you can imagine of going to a dentist. I can say that I had a long history of dental work that has left me very cautious to who I go to. Media Dental Arts provided a highly professional, kind, and comfortable environment. Every appointment is well scheduled and therefore there is never a long wait. The practice is very clean, thorough, and friendly making going to the dentist fearless and easy.

I've been so pleased with my experience at Media Dental Arts. I was seeing Dr. Cecchi for several years and than my dental insurance changed so I switched to a dental practice that was in network. After switching a few more times, I had to go back to Dr. Cecchi since he was the only dentist that I trusted. His expertise, mannerisms, office staff, atmosphere of office, etc. are all calming, reassuring and professional. Thank you Media Dental Arts for a relaxing dental experience.

We wanted to find a local dentist after we moved to Media. On our arrival, the front desk ladies were friendly and nice, but when we went into the waiting room, we noticed that the carpeting was badly soiled, and not just recently. The vanity in the bathroom was falling off the wall and appeared to have been patched with silicone caulk to try to hide the fact. The cleanings were OK, but the dentist was on a 'hard sell' from invisalign to implants without ever asking if we were happy with the way our teeth looked.

Great first appointment. I had heard so many good things about Dr. Cecchi from my friend. When I walked into that serene reception I felt like I had come home. Sandy and staff are caring and attentive. Dr. Cecchi and Cerise the hygienist are skilled and gentle. Best of all this is a not a corporate mega practice and the same people will be there when I return.

I have found my "happy place for dentistry" with Dr. Cecchi's Media Dental Arts practice. Sandy, Emily and the rest of his staff plus, of course, Dr. Cecchi provide an atmosphere that exudes comfort and confidence. Warm environment. Does not feel like a dentist office at all and the staff is overwhelmingly welcoming and nice. I have been going there for over a year now and cannot imagine going anywhere else. They make going to the dentist a pleasure and I actually look forwards to my visits instead of dread them.

I had a great experience as always. I have been coming here for a few years now and just completed an invisalign treatment here. They are always prompt and thorough. Dr. Cecchi answers all my questions (and I ask a lot of them) and explains everything to me. Today, he even bought me coffee! The staff is delightful and the office is very nice. I highly recommend this dental practice if you are looking for one. You will not be disapointed!

Finally made a switch in dentists over a year ago after my previous dentist had a change in management. I was hesitant as I do not like going to the dentist (like most people) and would go every other year but after my first visit to Media Dental Arts, I now go three times a year. They are extremely nice and make your experience comfortable. I would not go anywhere else.

Kind of shocked there aren't any reviews yet. I've been coming here my entire life, and as a result have never understood why people dread going to the dentist. I've always looked forward to my trips, even though they only come around once a year. As a kid I was all about the tricked-out giftbags, but now I'm just happy to see everyone. Dr. Cecchi and the rest of the team are all fun, friendly, and incredibly professional, and even though I live on the other side of the world now I still come back to this cozy little office for all of my dental work. In 25 years of being a patient here, I have never once had a bad, painful, or unsatisfactory experience. That should say it all.

My mom's first visit to Dr. Cecchi's office was today. The ONLY reason we were using him was because her old dentist's office did not have a ramp to accommodate seniors and her mobility is a problem. Dr. Cecchi and his staff could not have been nicer. Everyone was very patient - it takes my mom a minute or two just to stand up and then some time to get with her walker from one room to another. Emily, the hygienist was very understanding and sensitive to mom's needs. I would HIGHLY recommend this office - everyone from receptionist, to all the hygienists and Dr. Cecchi were welcoming
