The front desk is phenomenal, from coordinating my insurance benefits to their amazing hygiene department. I am so grateful I found this office! My son loves coming here too!

I've had many crowns (6) put in by Dr. Zhan and they've all been great! He's a perfectionist, which is a definite quality you want in your dentist. I've also been getting three cleanings each year to keep my gum disease under control and they've been doing a great job staying on top of it to prevent more problems. Our family has gone to Round Lake Dental for a couple years now. The staff is always professional and kind. They are fantastic with our kids and make our whole family feel at ease when getting dental work done. We also love the evening hours and that we don't have to take the kids out of school.

This is absolutely the place you want to go for all your dental needs. I have had very good experiences with working with everyone at Round Lake Dental. I used to have a lot of fear around going to the dentist in the past. Coming here has changed all that. The dentists here are really great. They listen to you and explain everything well. I no longer have dentist anxiety because of them.

When I had a dental emergency the ladies in the office went over and beyond to help me out. I really think they might have saved my life. You will be glad you chose Round Lake Dental.

I moved, so I needed to switch Dentist's. Dr. Zahn and his staff took such good care of me! I get very nervous at my appointments, Assistant Heather put me at ease, and before I knew it, I was all done! 5 STARS!

I used to go to Dr. Swenson--miss him. When he retired, he sold to a couple of dentists. Now, I do understand that when you have an enormous loan for the practice, you need to make as much money as you can, but Dr. Zhang telling me--a person who is very meticulous about dental hygiene and taking care of my teeth and haven't had a cavity in 20 years--that I suddenly have 7 cavities is not a good way to supplement your income for a new practice.

I've actually held off writing this review for 2 years because i hadn't been back to a dentist. Lo and behold, went to see my husband's dentist who he just raves about and i have ZERO cavities. Be wary folks. Maybe consider getting a second opinion if you don't believe the result of your exam here. Better yet, just go get a second dentist to check anyway when you are diagnosed with one here.

You only get one set of teeth. Protect them and don't let some "used car salesman" dentist destroy them to make a buck. Keep your teeth and just donate the money to him if you choose, but don't let him ruin your teeth for no reason!

The entire staff is caring and helpful. Dr. Zhan is thorough and explains things well. He gave me different options for my dental needs and never pushed for any treatment. I am grateful to Round Lake Dental's dedication and service. I would absolutely recommend this office to everyone.

I would not recommend going to Round Lake Dental unless you enjoy being manipulated and up-charged for routine exams and cleanings. Let me explain. The dentist I used before moving would have me request an extra 15 min time to have a little extra time when having my routine cleanings to use the descaler. Out of courtesy, I wanted to continue this practice when starting with a new dentist.

The receptionist contacted me later that week to get my insurance information. She was going to check if my insurance would cover a "Deep Cleaning." I questioned this, why is this not a routine cleaning? The receptionist then asked if my prior dentist put me to sleep for my cleanings. I said, "No, my previous dentist just asked me to remind them so they could schedule a little extra time to use the descaler." The receptionist said that there was some confusion, the cleaning should not be a problem, so I scheduled an appointment.

On the day of my appointment, Kym, the hygienist, did my x-rays and sat my chair up because she would not do the cleaning today. Kym explained I would need to make another appointment for deep cleaning. Just like they wanted to do before ever seeing my teeth! There was NO way I would do any more business with Round Lake Dental. Doing Business with Round Lake Dental cost me 3 hours of my workday, and I genuinely feel they used deceptive business practices. Shame on you, Round Lake Dental!

The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. My granddaughter has always had a fear of the dentist and they have made her feel comfortable and safe. They take their time and help her handle her anxiety. They do not pressure their patients and they are priced fairly.

Dr. Swenson and his wonderful team are so good! He's the best dentist I've ever had. He's an awesome and knowledgeable doctor who is kind, compassionate, and great with all of his patients, regardless of their age. He listens and knows the financial side of the business, not just the medical. He is straightforward without being condescending or judgmental. I highly recommend him and his team.
