It's as important for the children we see to have a positive experience as it is to complete their dental work. We strive to make every experience a positive one!. I grew up and graduated from High School in Bountiful, Utah, received a Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a pre-dental emphasis from Brigham Young University, a DDS degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota.During my two year pediatric residency, I was chosen to be Chief Resident.
We strive to make each and every visit to our Pediatric dentist office in Lehi a fun one!. This is most easily accomplished by regular dental visits so that if cavities begin to grow, they can be treated conservatively with small fillings rather than with crowns and extractions. Your child should visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday.
Dental lasers are ideal for children, as well as high-risk patients due to reduced need for anesthesia and maximum control of bleeding and post-op infections. With laser light taking the place of the drill, you're child will feel more comfortable and relaxed in the chair without the sound, vibration or heat generation of the drill.

We moved here last year and struggled to find a dentist that was awesome. Dr, Richter was referred to us and has been incredible to work with. My kids are very nervous typically, but felt at ease with Dr. Richter. They also have a cool laser for cavity treatment instead of the dreaded drill. Super impressed and would highly recommend.
