I've studied with the ou since 2011. Unfortunately in those ten years I've witnessed a massive decline both in the quality of tuition and course content. It's very environmental focused now and has pretty much got rid of most of its other interesting science courses. In previous years your tutor would e mail you back promptly but for my last course in 2021 I waited 12 days for a response and eventually had to e mail again to nudge a reply out of him.

He didn't know much about a linked course which was imperative to have knowledge on as it ultimately fed into our final project. Consequently he allowed me to go ahead with a project idea for months only to, last minute, declare I couldn't pursue it as the link to the other course content wasn't strong enough. As a result I lost months of project planning leaving me disadvantaged and now stuck in limbo with a pending module result and quite possibly facing an academic misconduct accusation due to having to rush my project.

A process which, btw has taken two months with no detail as to why my mark has been withheld as yet. This is how little the employees at the ou think of their students, witholding marks indefinitely with little information provided to you as to why My tutors feedback was lacking constructive criticism and enthusiasm, both of which are essential motivators for students.

Overall I feel thoroughly let down as a mostly positive decade of study with ou ends on such a low due to a lacklustre tutor and left wing academics hell-bent on forcing students to write dissertations or thesis on environment issues. Edit. There months and one week late I finally received my results! Due 1st Dec. Arrived Match 3rd! I have also found out when my complaint over delayed marks was internally investigated that my project is also being investigated for alleged plagirism.

Even though my marks been released and this is the first I've heard of alleged plagirism of the project!. When I tried asking what's going on yesterday first one ou staff member hung up on me, the other said she'd call back today and hasn't! Advise. Do not waste your money on this institute. I've now taken my complaint to the OIA. The way they treat their students is nothing short of appalling and they need holding to account for it.

The staff are always friendly and they make sure if you need anything to calm your nerves they have you covered. The doctor is nice and friendly and explains what needs to be done and if you have questions he makes sure to answer your questions. The hygienist is very friendly also and makes sure you are nice and comfortable. I would differently recommend this place very happy and pleased.

Great dentist and hygienist! Have switched over to them from Western Dental and absolutely love it. Dr Maynard is an awesome dentist and takes great care. Valerie did a wonderful job in cleaning my teeth. They are the best!

High tech, high comfort in a family practice. Dr Maynard is terrific. He is very patient and uses the latest techniques for comfort. Valerie is an amazing and gentle hygenist. If you have learning difficulties, stay well away from them, overpriced, little support and made to feel totally worthless. Waiting years to post this review as it hit me so badly. Please, don't make my mistake, find a better option, a university that wants to help you.

The girls at the front are always so sweet and helpful. The office has a relaxed vibe/energy so it doesn't feel like a typical dental office. They have a "comfort menu" with different options to help you relax during your visit. I definitely recommend this place if you're a nervous patient or have any anxiety about visiting the dentist!

This is the absolute best dentist that I have ever had and I am 67 years old. I have had several bad experiences with other dentist and I get very nervous before my appointment times. Because of my fears, I always waited till I was in pain- then I went to the dentist, so as a result I needed a lot of work done. DDS Maynard has a calming and quirky personality, I was at ease almost immediately.

The music in the office is always calming and his assistant Michelle always selects wonderful things to watch on the tv while waiting. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. They go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. I just had my very first root canal and although the procedure was long (not as painful as others told me it would be) the doctor took his time, talked me through it and saved my tooth.

Way to go.! The office is always clean and you are always greeted with friendly faces. I have recommend DDS Tobias Maynard to family and friends but anyone and everyone who is hesitant about going to the dentist, this is your guy. Totally Endorsed by a Former scaredy-cat.

I began my studies in 2016 and graduated this year. I found OU studies flexible and worked well around working full time and other commitments. It wasn't an easy experience by any stretch of the imagination, and took a lot of planning and commitment. However most tutors were very helpful and gave constructive feedback, the textbooks were provided and online resources were great.

Any set texts I had to buy (for English Literature mpdules) were found easily for discounted prices online. I would recommend the OU to anyone wanting to study for a degree while juggling other life commitments.

Sadly the quality of tutoring has deteriorated over time therefore I would no longer recommend the OU. If you study with them you have got to expect that you are mostly studying with little or no support at all. Or hope that the forum tutors or fellow students will there to support you along the way.

You would think that a fully online university would offer a bit of flexibility. Why no late registration for a fully online degree? I was 5 days late and none of the 10+ people I spoke to would accommodate me, even though it isn't even full and still 3 weeks till the start date. They're also not allowing me to study full-time. It is understandable for my first semester given that my first two modules don't start at the same time.

But now I'm also not allowed to study my 2nd and 3rd simultaneously even though they do start at the same time. Why? I am feeling more and more like I am being held back at every corner by strict, unreasonable rules and inflexibility

So far so good. At the moment I am happy with the programme and the environment. Couldn't give more details as I am fairly new however this university is perfect for someone who wants to work full time and study full time. They have great courses. They sent me books as well.

I am so happy that I decided to call the office of Dr. Maynard for assistance with my dental needs. He is a very kind, attentive medical professional who listens to the patients concerns and discusses options respectfully. The atmosphere of the office is outstanding with a wonderfully holistic vibe, and the assistants, both back and front office are above and beyond kind and helpful. Finding a good dentist can really be a challenge. My first experience here was amazing and I am grateful to have found a place of dentistry that really resonates with me.

The Open University does not want to advertise on GB News, as it is a very unopen University. But, to be fair, all universities are these days. They are intolerant, left wing, hate filled organisations, that can't tolerate opposing views & certainly have no interest in rigorous intellectual debate. Most degrees aren't worth the paper they are written on these days & the Open University & their virtue signalling, cancel culture ways are no different.

Finishing my 2 years here doing health and social care diploma apart from one module I found the other three extremely boring and constant repetition I spoke to my tutor who informed me that ou courses are basic and mainly for people with no prior experience with work in that field and no qualifications. I have several so hence found so dull and boring wish I had known what a waste of 2 years could of gone elsewhere and brought myself up to date ready for returning to work

Studying a business degree with the OU and really enjoying it, the support is superb and my tutor is very helpful. Most universities have entry requirements of A levels relevant to the area of study. As the OU has no entry requirements for undergraduate study it is easily accessible.

Filling day! Dr. Maynard is wonderful as well as his staff. I had my silver fillings replaced with porcelain. Everything went smooth as butter. Although Dr. Maynard's office is a 30 minute drive, it's well worth it.

Currently doing a course and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A few years ago when the teachers openly interacted with their students and even help put you at ease, I would have highly recommended this way of education. Nowdays your teacher sends out a generic email to all of you introducing their self and that is it. The level of service currently being provided has been inadequate to say the least.

In my experience, sadly I can't possibly give a good mark to the Open University. I eventually gained a Criminology and Phychology degree with high expectations of gaining a high mark with all the hard work I put in from studying for six years. However i only came out with a 2.2 because of my final 60 credits i have suffered from depression and anxiety, since loss of my family and had great marks throughout the six years studying.

However my final course affected my mark and lowered my qualification to a 2.2. I was told I would be contacted to explain why I had no support in my final course. My tutors was all great except the final one. I wish I'd have chosen a different course now I never heard any response back as to why I was lowered down to the 2.2 grade. If I'd chosen a Brick University, I was told I'd have gained a 2.1 at least with my marks.

I am very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone hoping to gain a good degree with higher standards. This university lower your grades and you have no say if your graded lower.

Another emergency, my crown fell off Dr. Maynard X-rayed, and reset it. Thank you, thank you, thank you! everything back to normal. Reasonable price.

Dr Maynard is the best and very accommodating towards patients with dental anxiety. His team is beyond lovely. I often feel like I'm chatting with friends during my treatment and they're all so gentle. Every time I come here I leave feeling grateful that I found such a wonderful dentist.

Words cannot describe how happy I am with this company. I've been coming to Dr. Maynard since I was rather young and I couldn't see myself wanting to even consider going to someone else. He has given me my smile back after a rather embarrassing hole on the middle of my front teeth. His staff is friendly and I always feel welcome here. The reason behind finally writing a review is for something that happened recently.

With the quarentine going on and them having to close for a bit, they have still been able to help me with sudden tooth pain. Called to check up on me, and made sure to get me scheduled for an appointment as soon as they open again. Could not recommend them more.

Dr. Maynard and his staff are always super pleasant and professional. My hygenist did a super job - they have all the latest equipment which makes the process painless and fast. I love the office vibe and friendliness. I look forward to my appointments now. Highly recommend.

I recently starting seeing Dr. Maynard as my dentist because I wanted a dentist that provided a natural approach. The front desk assistants were very friendly and I was greeted upon entering the office. I had a mercury filling replaced with a non-toxic filling, had a cracked molar filled, and received a basic cleaning. All the dental staff were friendly and provided excellent dental care and service. I highly recommend Dr. Maynard and his staff for all your basic dental needs!

While I was excited to go to a dentist that claimed to be holistic, it turns out that's all it is - a statement on his website. There is no evidence of truth to this claim as his knowledge of holistic dentistry seems to be close to non-existent. His chair-side manner is also terrible. During the exam he speaks in trade language directly to his dental assistant and walks out of the office before ever telling the patient what is going on.

In order to find out anything to do with your treatment plan you have to ask the front desk. This has never been my experience with any other dentist. It's as if he refuses to waste his time speaking directly to the patient. About the only thing positive I can say is that you can get appointments quickly because it's not a very well attended practice probably due to a frequent turn over of patients.

Highly DON"T recommend! The respond from this business owner pisses me off.with Bull Shit respond to my review. How convenient for you to say. "Strangely, this patient's complaint is one and 1/2 years delayed. We always recommend communicating with us for any reason." I can write my review both positive and negative anytime I please. COMMUNICATION? ***INDEED Communicated with photos send via text and emailed with my VERY swollen lips both for the 1st time and 2nd procedures - and let you know how frustrating it was.

So pay attention to your patient's file. That's absolutely communication. And I will post those photos if need to. so suck it up that you screwed up! and you will strive to improve rather making it sound as if my post is "strange".REALLY? What pisses me off. I would not have write another sucky review if you could simply just admit the dentist screwed up with too much gossiping instead of paying attention to what he supposed to be doing.

Oh I forgot to mentioned that there was repeat visits on procedure for my husband that was never resolved. For the 4th time trying to fix the problem that the dentist originally cause- my husband finally lost confidence and no longer trust on this dentist since the problem keep happening. Notation: When I sent photos of my swollen lips. And Angela- personally mentioned how "she too" would be frustrated and possibly not go back.and exactly what we di. WE DID NOT go back to this dentist.

I have been going here for a few years and I love it! The entire staff is welcoming and kind :) it's a holistic dentistry so you know you're getting non-toxic products. I recommend changing your dentist to Dr. Maynard :)

This was truly the worst experience ever. Where is the compassionate dentist located! Not here obviously. The refuse to see me claiming it is due to my medical history which only shows that I cannot absorb vitamin D and B well. That's all but the in charge person which I believe is his wife let it slip that the real reason for them not seeing me is that my insurance doesn't pay them enough. Frankly I would say stay far far away.

They sent me to an endontist that wanted to put me on a medication that killed my uncle and that is the sedation that they use. No Bueno! I want to stay alive. But even with that they are only concerned about the money. Like most dentist that I have found. No money no treatment. It's a pretty sad state of affairs when that is all dentist are concerned about nowdays and not any concern for the patient. My recommendation stay away hopefully God will shut this place down.

I love the fact that they are very thorough with treatment and thank goodness this office has a dental hygienist (woohoo!) I've been to a few without one and the cleanings feels sub-par compared to this office. The office is very friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend.

I highly recommend this business. Not only are they honest (which seems to be impossible to find with dentists.and veterinarians).but they actually care about their patients. Quick, efficient, and always on top of the new practices to provide the least amount of discomfort.

I come all the way from Moreno Valley to this dentist office because they do such great work. Danae, the hygienist, is very thorough and highly skilled. The office environment is relaxing and comfortable and they play great music. The dentist and office staff are professional and competent. If you have to get to a dentist office, this is a good one to get to. See how clean my teeth are!
