Dr. Doyel tackled some tough problems that had arisen with my teeth during the COVID recess, including one cavity that might have necessitated a root canal. He worked very close to the nerve, but. no problem. The new crown went on well, and I didn't experience pain during recovery. Well done!

New Smiles has taken care of my families oral health for over two decades. They have continuously invested in the most modern technology and always carefully selected the highest quality team members. DR. A and his team are a standard above all. I have been a patient since I was a kid and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I had an emergency situation. Broke my front tooth and they fixed it the next day. I literally cried from happiness! Not only do they do exceptional/quality work they really truly care about their patients. I'm always blown away they continue to carry the standard of care they have to this day. ***Side note. It shows the type of people they are and the how their business is ran when they have had the same staff for decades!

I want to start by saying I really do not like the dental visits. In fact I tend to avoid them.sometimes for years. Having said that, it stands to make sense that I have required some dental work here and there. Long story short, the staff here are tremendous. It's clear that they really care about their patients. So much so that last Christmas when I suffered a broken crown, not only did Dr.

A FaceTime with me late at night to take a look (yes I put my phone in my mouth), but he also opened the office on Christmas Eve to put a temporary in place. These people legitimately care about the clients they serve, and go above and beyond what is required. Thanks to Dr A and the staff for making something I dread into something that I only sort of wish I didn't have to do. #respect

No matter how many times or how many people are at New Smiles, EVERYONE makes you feel like you are the most important person there. I have never experienced such kindness at dentist office before. And the knowledge of dentistry that Dr. Doyle have demonstrated is in a class all by itself. I just love them all God bless New Smiles!

I cannot say more about Dr. Doyle and his team! As someone who has had severe dental phobia for years and someone who experiences a weird situation of not being receptive to local anesthesia, they have not only resolved my poor dental health, but done so without judgment and with the utmost compassion, genuine acceptance, and outstanding professionalism.

Went in for a root canal, left with a burn on my lip that is turning into a scar. I guess that's technically a "New Smile". After three weeks, I'm finally able to eat with pain or bleeding, and my speech is back to normal. There has been zero follow up from these guys about resolving this. The dental work is good; just be advised you may leave with some facial burns.

Met with Dr Ben for a consultation about restoring my smile and left excited about what he can do for me. Everyone was genuinely warm and friendly and the experience was very positive. After years of fruitless searching I have found my dental home and am so grateful for people who understand how much a smile can affect your life. Can't wait to get started.

Wow, worst customer service ever! I am in need for some more dental work however I will be looking elsewhere for a dentist. I recommend everybody else does as well.

I came in for the $99 special cleaning price for new patients and left with a bad taste in my mouth and a much higher bill than promised. Mid cleaning I was told my teeth were really dirty and that a special cleaning would be $250. My mouth was literally open and I was laying all the way back in the chair when I was told this. Mind you I have my teeth cleaned every year, never have cavities and have never been told this before.

I felt pressured to give in to the more thorough cleaning. It was like being hustled by a professional gang of experienced conmen. To top it off I was given a rose at the end. Last time I got roses, the person knew they did something wrong.

Had a cleaning, exam, and x-rays done a couple of years ago now. It went fine although they wanted to sell me a much more expensive procedure to cure a problem they said could become trouble down the road. I said I would think about that. Never wound up doing it to this point and have not had any problems in that regard. Fast forward to now. Called them and asked how much for a new cleaning.

Front desk said they would require new x-rays with exam and cleaning. Okay, understood. Price: $350. Are you kidding me? Never mind. I'll find another dentist thanks. BTW, tried calling them a week ago only to find out the entire office closes for two full week around the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Seriously? Who does that? Not only that, but they are only open four days a week anyhow. Must be nice work if you can get it.

I went to this place back in July for the first time since I moved and needed a new dentist. I loved the staff and thought they were great until today. I have good health insurance and have literally never paid for cleanings or exam out of pocket. When I booked my appointment it was a couple months out but they sent me emails so they could get my history and background.

I sent all that in as instructed. When I got there I gave them my insurance which I made sure they took when I booked my appointment. I was taken to the back and they started my cleaning. They asked to take X rays which I explained by insurance covers once a year and I was not sure if my last appointment at the other place did them or not. My hygienist explained that if the insurance would not cover it then they would just not bill me for it.

Problem solved no big deal. As I left that day they said I was all go on the insurance side and no big deal. Fast forward today where 5 month later I am getting a bill for $221. Are you freaking kidding me? I thought ok maybe its the x rays so I called at 8 am to get an explanation. I got a call back at 11 am and the lady was far from helpful. She explained my insurance only covered a little bit of each and so that left me with $221.

I explained that never have I had to pay for dental care and I have been on this insurance since I was 18 and that was 9 years ago. She said she was not sure but she could give me a new patient with out insurance exam fee which is $87. She expected me to pay that today and over the phone. She could not explain how when I spoke over the phone to some one prior to my appointment I was not notified of this or when I left that day.

Do you really think I would have gone forward with the exam and cleaning if I was going to have to pay? No! She choose not to answer my question and simply just wanted my money. She did not care that I was clearly bothered by this or offer an apology or anything. I cancelled my future appt but since I am out $87 that I never should have been charged.

Excellent care, great communication, friendly staff, clean office. My wife and I both had serious dental work and after each of our appointments the dentist called to check up.it wasn't the staff who called, not the dental hygienist, it was the Dentist who did the procedure who called directly : It's that kinda of friendly and thorough care they provide that'll keep us coming back and referring them to our friends and family.

I've been going here for years and it's been the best dentist I have ever had. The entire team is friendly & professional and they are always happy to see you. I would give them six stars if I have the option,

I live out of state, but whenever I am in town I make sure to get in for my dental cleaning and check up! This team is exceptional and I have no desire to go anywhere else. Julie has been cleaning my teeth for as long as I can remember and she's thorough, gentle and fun! I love my hygienist! Abbi at the front desk is always cheerful and accommodating for my last minute needs and I've never had trouble getting scheduled when I'm in town. A big thank you to Dr. A and Dr. D for all that they do!

I am ridiculously afraid of the dentist. However New Smiles genuinely cares about your feelings and will accommodate you fully. They are always pleasant from the amazing Dr. Doyle right down to the receptionists in the front. Going to get dental work done does not scare me in the least anymore. I've been numerous times and even some were emergencies right before Christmas Eve and they still fit me in to fix a broken tooth so I would not have to suffer through my Christmas vacation in misery.

I cannot stress enough how amazing Dr. Doyle is. He's always very nice and does amazing work. The atmosphere is simply wonderful and it all has to do with the amazing staff. I just really love New Smiles and now my entire family goes here.

We can't say enough about the great dentists and staff at New Smiles. We recently had a procedure with Dr. Bennett and she was able to give reassurance to a child who was tense getting numbing medication. She also did follow up with us promptly when we had questions and even scheduled us back for a quick check. We have been coming here for several years and plan to keep coming.

They are great about scheduling, keeping you with the same dentist and hygienist (Dr. A, Dr. D and Dr. Bennett are all great) and Kari the hygienist takes such careful time teaching and giving positive feedback. It is a joy to come to the dentist.

My first visit to New Smiles and was impressed by the entire staff! I recently relocated to the Portland area and hadn't found a dentist yet. I had a tooth that chipped and called New Smiles and was able to get an appointment in a couple days! Very friendly staff when I called to make appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted immediately by Rebecca.

My wait was only a few minutes before being called for my appointment. The dental assistant and Dr Doyle put me at ease quickly. I didn't feel rushed and felt that they listened to my concerns. I will definitely be a return patient! Kind of crazy to say, but I look forward to returning for teeth cleaning and getting back on schedule for dental care!

I had a recent visit for a routine cleaning and wanted to share specifically about how impressed I was with Abby, the front desk receptionist. An older man came in who wasn't very communicative and was asking if his wife was finished. Abby was extremely kind, asking him how his day was, to which he replied with an non-open ended response. At that point I would have left him alone as it seemed he wasn't interested in conversation.

But Abby went above and beyond to ask relative questions like if he enjoyed the Super Bowl and what was his favorite part of the game. She has such a gift for loving people! The entire team is exceptional from Dr. A and Dr. Doyle, Karie (my hygienist), Abby, Ursula, Cami, Julie, and Shelley. They have been there since I started going there 6 years ago and always say hi to me whenever I come in.

Emergency is really a time to emerge and see how your medical providers respond. Yesterday was a great experience with New Smiles staff when I truly had a dental emergency that my current dental practice couldn't attend to. I referred to my Sherwood chamber of commerce fellow members, Dr McKinney and Dr. BEN and they welcomed me with open arms! Within 2 hours I was out of pain for 1/2 the costs I would have had to pay if there was an opening.my dental experience today means changing my address book for dental care

The staff and dentists at New Smiles are excellent. Top quality service and they strive for patients to be comfortable and pain free. They run a schedule that is on time and they respect your time as a patient. Dr. McKinney and dental hygienist Reana worked on me the past 2 visits and they are superb. Other staff there has also been right on. They appreciate their clients and it shows. Service gets 5 stars.

Dr. Aanderud and his staff are amazing. They have gone above and beyond to take care of me and my family's needs! I was able to reach Dr. A after hours and on a weekend. I can't say enough great things. Cami is also a wonderful Hygienist. She has such a gentle touch and does not make me feel bad when I don't floss.

I have been a patient for about 6 years and I won't go anywhere else. Dr. A is so gentle comforting. In a chair that can be less than comfortable he always puts me at ease. Kami (my hygienist) is fantastic. When she realized I HATED the scrapping, she suggested we try the "ultrasonic." That eliminated about 90% of the scrapping when I get my teeth cleaned.

They listen and they care about making you comfortable. After I had a a couple of crowns done, Dr. A actually gave me his cell phone number to use over the weekend incase I had any issues. I appreciate that level of service and will be a patient at New Smiles for years to come.

I've had cleanings and a crown and every time I go there, they know my name and treat me like I am their only customer. It's a great office with great staff and they're very easy to work with. No pressure, no attitude and the doctors are top-notch. The hygienists are exceptional and I have a great experience every time I go. I have a HORRIBLY sensitive gag-reflex and they're sensitive to that and are very helpful and patient with me.

Dr. Doyel and his staff continue to execute stellar skills, professionalism, cleanliness, and service. I have been going to Pacific Family Dental since 2005 and I am compelled to post this review today due to the extremely difficult and lengthy procedure they had to do on me today. I have some intense dental anxiety that developed later in life (PRIOR to be going to Dr. Doyel, of course) and today he and his assistant very patiently and calmly got me through it and never ever made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Thank you Pacific Family Dental!

My family and I have been patients of Pacific Family Dental for 14 years and We just love Dr, A. He is very caring, nice, kind. We know he is the BEST Dentist ever. My husband does not like to go to the dentist, but Dr. A will talk to him and make him feel relax to go see him. We are definitely recommend people to Dr. A. The office people are AWESOME! and all the Dental Hygiene ARE AWESOME also. Over all Rate for Pacific family Dental are 5 stars and add to that they are AWESOME!

I have been going to this office and seeing Dr. Doyle for over 6 years. A family member has been going there even longer and had recommended it to me. I have always hated going to the dentist until I started coming here. They are awesome! Now I have my boyfriend going here as well. Even after I moved almost an hour away I still make the drive because I doubt I will ever find a better dentist or dental practice.

I am actually quite surprised that there are not more reviews for Pacific Family Dental. I am always running into people who are as thrilled with them as me and my family are. I guess most people don't think about writing reviews unless they've had a bad experience. My husband and I have been Dr. A's patients for almost eight years and we would never hesitate to recommend him to any of our friends or family.

Our first visit was an emergency visit for an infected tooth. Pacific Family Dental was the only office willing to see a non-patient on such short notice. More recently, Dr. A left his family's BBQ to rush into the office and take care of our daughter's knocked out tooth. He wasn't even the on-call dentist for her dentist that weekend.

Between dental trauma's, we have found Dr. A's dental care top notch. He is thorough, catches and treats potential problems early and treats us like family. If you are looking for an outstanding dentist, look no further.
