We partner with you to provide free medical, dental, food, and behavioral health, caring for the Whole Person in Jesus' Name. Hope Clinic is poised to become one of the first free clinics in the nation to offer fully integrated behavioral/mental healthcare organization-wide. And Hope's services are co-located, which means that no matter what need brings someone in the door at Hope Clinic, they have immediate access to food support, medical care, dental care, counseling and behavioral health, healthcare navigation, baby care items, and even free laundry.

Hope Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr. Daniel Heffernan. Dr. Heffernan saw the challenges many individuals and families faced trying to obtain adequate healthcare without insurance. He responded by gathering a group of volunteers who opened a Saturday morning walk-in clinic. The clinic was housed in borrowed space, serving patients, expecting nothing in return.

Hope is the only free medical clinic in Washtenaw county. We also have the largest food program in the area, and our excellent free dental program sets us apart as well.
The SIGHT clinic is a pilot study working to improve the rate of detection of severe eye diseases. Eye screenings are conducted using telemedicine. Telemedicine is healthcare where doctors can provide care even when they are not in the same place as the patient by having information and testing sent to them through the electronic health record and the internet.

It's been 13 years since I was here. By them providing free medical care I was able to see a dr, who got an mri scheduled for me. They kept me and did a spinal fusion which allowed me to be able to walk, stay walking and saved me from a lifetime in a bed or wheelchair. Praise God! Changed my whole life direction and walk with God! For the absolute best. God bless you Hope Clinic! Jesus! Thank You! I never even thought of this place until now when I'm seeking more help. Thank God for His mercy!

Don't go to this clinic. I came to this clinic when I was feeling sick on two occasions. I described my symptoms to the health care provider that saw me. I was told to wait a week for lab test. So I spent a week in pain and the provider called me a week later and said nothing was wrong with me. I explained I still had symptoms and was in pain. The lady responded "well I don't know what to tell you." And kept giving me silent treatment.
Then I was sent a bill for lab tests. I had to go somewhere else for a proper diagnosis and treatment. I will not be coming back to this clinic ever again. There are better clinics in the area. Hope Clinic should change it's name to Despair Clinic.

I'm new too the state and Hope Clinic made me feel like home! I had a lapse in my insurance and need some care for me and my son. Upon arriving I found the staff to be WONDERFUL. Every staff member who approached me was very welcoming and pleasant! From the front desk to the NP. This place was VERY resourceful in every way. I think I'm more appreciative for there organizational "Fresh Farmer Stand".Thank You Very Much for all that you have done! You have Blessed me in ways more than you will know, you have given me HOPE!

My parents had an appointment at 8:30am today for the eye check. We were there at 8:25am, the door was closed, called in, nobody answered. The message said the clinic opens at 9am, then why the hell you make appointment with my parents at 8:30am? And while we waiting at the parking lot, someone reached my car, knocked the window and requested for money. We left at 8:40am and won't come back. Stay away from this place whenever you can.

Hope clinic is a very special place and we are so blessed to have this clinic in their community. The doctors and everyone who volunteers there actually REALLY care about you, listen to you and treat you how everyone - rich or poor- should be treated. Look at their website for more info. Hope clinic is by far the most loving environment to walk into. Staff goes above and beyond! Everyone is warm, helpful and experienced. They really love their jobs and it shows! This building provides so much for those in need! My clients rave about the services and how much it has been a blessing to receive.
