Lifetime Dental Excellence - Craig S Wernette

Craig Wernette was my dentist throughout my childhood, 90s-2015 ish. He went above and beyond with my teeth and sealing them so well that now, in my 30s, when I go somewhere else (out of town), I get so many compliments on his work and how well it's maintained for the last 15+ years. No joke. Most recent dentist said, "whoever did this work really loved your teeth and did a beautiful job". No cavities or any dental issues due to his proactive work years ago.

First time patient Dr. Wernette was so attentive he let me know everything he was doing I felt very comfortable I recommend this dental office I've had dental work done before and this experience with lifetime dental excellence has been by far the best I look forward to a long relationship with lifetime dental excellence and I see you guys in a couple of weeks.

This is the single most unprofessional establishment I have ever worked with. I scheduled an appointment with extended time for a cavity fill. When I got there, they said that they couldn't do it and called me a liar. The office manager proceeded to call and leave me SCREAMING voice messages about how I was a lair and they do not schedule appointments like that for a 2 days straight. Finally, the person I scheduled the appointment with spoke with her and confirmed that I scheduled the appointment as I had stated from the beginning.

That conversation was revealed to me in another SCREAMING voicemail. She was mad in this one that I hadn't returned her screaming messages for the days prior and about how I should have called her back. I called back and notified her I would no longer be using them for my dental needs. She continued to berate me and then in an eerie calm state, "you know what? I think it is best for you to find a new dentist" I WILL NEVER GO BACK. SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. THE OFFICE MANAGER IS NOT WELL.

Words can't express enough how happy I was with my experience. I called last minute to get in. I was having extreme tooth pain and I had never been to this dental office before and they took me within an hour. Helped figure out my issue. They were so nice and accommodating. They gained a new customer for sure. Thank you again Dr. Hodas and staff! You guys are amazing

I feel when you walk in on time you are going to wait. Office is not on schedule. Staff are nice, however cleanings are only 30 min and rushed. Cleanings should be an hour long. I feel the hygienist does not take her time to clean good. Will try another dentist office.

Staff is very friendly and supportive. I have alot of anxiety getting dental work done and they are understanding and go out of their way to make my experience better. They also have the latest equipment which also makes the procedures easier for patients.

This office is amazing! The staff are always friendly, the office is clean & relaxing and the appointment times are very flexible to meet any schedule needs. This is the place to go for all of your dental needs.

My family of six has been going to Dr. Wernette at Lifetime Dental for over 10 years. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and always make you feel like you are their favorite client!

My whole family goes to Lifetime. Love that there is rarely a wait. They are great with scheduling. They are great with the kids (teenagers and little ones). Love the email and text reminders cause I forget everything. It's always stress-free.

I had 3 major procedures done here about 3 years ago. I paid out of pocket for all of them. I have already had to have 2 of them redone, and now a porcelain crown (on my very back tooth) chipped - and my new dentist told me that tooth should NEVER have a porcelain crown. it should have a more durable material like zirconia. Now it needs to be redone. I basically wasted over $3,000 at this dentist.

Dr. Wernette and team are awesome. Got me right in for a cracked tooth and worked around my schedule to get it repaired. Highly recommended.

Dr. Wernette is a great dentist. He is very understanding, and he does the work quickly and painlessly. His staff is professional, friendly and efficient. They answer my insurance questions within minutes. The office itself is tastefully decorated and a pleasant place to be.

I had a great experience with them getting in for an emergency visit as a new patient. Dr. Wernette gave me all the options and actually talked me out of the most expensive one that I thought I needed. What a relief compared to my prior dentist that always pushed the most expensive option and then had the office staff call and hound you until you got it done.

I walked away feeling that I got the best care possible. Glad I was referred to Lifetime! Update: Dr. Wernette called me two days after having my tooth pulled to check up on me. I was working so I let it go to voice mail. Thanks for the personal follow up. It's so rare these days.

Dentist visits make me nervous and I haven't been to one in years. The staff at Lifetime Dental made my experience a comfortable, easy, and as painless as possible.

I've only been in for a teeth cleaning (no major issues) but the staff was friendly and my appointment ran on time. Being a new patient, they were very thorough with detailing my health and made me feel in good hands.

Dr Hodas is fantastic along with the rest of the office staff. Typically there isn't more than a minute or two wait and then they go to work and do a great job. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Excellent staff! Courtney is an amazing young lady and has helped to remove my anxiety when visiting the dentist. She cleans my teeth like a champ and has a very kind and deft touch. All staff and Doctors have treated me and the family very well. They could use some kids books perhaps, but the fish tank is wonderful.

This was my first time at this dental office and I have to say the whole experience from beginning middle to end was great. I was able to get my first appointment within one week that was a plus. I received a great cleaning and examination. I will definitely be back. I saw the commercial when I was at MJR theaters in Troy and I'm glad I took upon myself to call them. If you're looking for a dentist in the Clawson, Troy area look no further.

Dr. Hodas and his staff are top notch! They're very customer service oriented and make you feel like family. Since moving to Michigan, my partner and I were searching for a good dentist and little did we know, we found a lot more than that. We are very thankful to have them. I've been going here a few years. I like the staff, they are always able to get me into the times I want. No problems with false cavities like some of the other reviews. I've not been told I had any cavities in the two years I've been there. I have had an old filling replaced that was over 20 years old but otherwise feel the treatments are on track and handled well.

I was looking for a dentist that used my new insurance, and after reading the great reviews for Lifetime Dental Excellence (not on Yelp, oddly enough), I decided they seemed like a great fit. So far I've been there twice and couldn't be happier. I was looking for a small practice, and this is perfect- by my second visit they already knew my name.

I like feeling like I'm not just another mouth; I'm a person. When I told them I always gag during x-rays, they even gave me a numbing spray to help, which I've never had before (and I've gone to probably a good 5 or 6 dentists). The staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was about as good as it gets at a dentist's office! I highly recommend them.
