I really should have listened to the previous poster but, I figured this dentist must have come upon the bad review.turns out, he didn't. There are 2 dentists here but I was seen by the Male dentist. I get Denti-Cal so, I don't know if that has anything to do with the quality of work I received. I needed 10 fillings! (yeah, that is my bad.too much candy) he suggested he fill 6 and fill the rest later.
I was okay with that. He said It was hurting me while scraping out the cavity because It was deep and I might need a root canal if I get a throbbing pain that does not go away. I have no Idea if that was true but IM NOT A DENTIST so, it makes sense. The dental assistant scratched my cheek with the suction tube! I wanted to cry because there was no RE- DO button for allowing myself to come here, and a piece of tooth flew in my nose. he was very messy, after my teeth were done I had blood splatter all over my face and glasses as soon as the numbness wore off (and still, 2 weeks later) I noticed the following: My bite has changed!
I used to be able to chew my food evenly with my molars but now my left side (that had the work done) is the only side that closes while there is a gap between the top and bottom teeth on the right! ON TOP OF THAT It still hurts to eat steak or crunchy cereal and still sensitive to hot and cold (which he said could last a year!). The paste the dentist used hangs over one of the top and bottom molars right in the crack between the teeth creating a pocket that is easy for food to get stuck in. and I can feel it with my tongue, sometimes I cut my tongue on them because I keep thinking its a piece of food.
I can feel that some of my teeth have more filling than others and 2 of them need a bit more filling. The only thing that was ok was the wait time, there practically isn't a wait time to be seen. I should have taken that as a sign NO ONE COMES HERE. I don't know if he would have fixed the problem if I returned but.that would be dumb on my part to go back. MISTREAT ME ONE TIME AND IM GOING TO YELP YOU! plus, I will drop you as my DR or DDS. ****If there are any REAL dentists out there that take Denti-Cal please let me know. I need 4 more fillings and 6 fillings need to be fixed.****

I would never recommend this place to anyone I cared about. I found this place via my insurance company's website, particularly through searching places with weekend hours. Only after my first appointment, did I learn the following, both of which would have been dealbreakers had I known in advance: 1) The office was only open 8-10am MTTHF, with Wed being closer to a full day.
I work full time, closer to the M-F 7-4pm thing, and these horrible hours would continuously have interrupted my work schedule. Even if they were open 8-4M-F, I would have more flexibility to work around that, but open 2 hrs on most days of the week? I'm surprised they're still in business. This also means they schedule everyone in that time period (why overbook? why not open for more hours?) and this huge group of people sit around until they are seen- seriously felt like an emergency room.
Good luck getting seen in a timely manner, so now you are missing even more of your busy day. 2) They don't ever answer they phone. They have a third party answer it, so if you call during business hours, it doesn't ring at the office, it rings (a cellphone?) and some person listens to the messages and relays -what they choose to- to the dentists.
I played so much phone tag, it was ridiculous. ALSO when I had an issue with my tooth, I was completely unable to get a hold of them. You decide if you want to deal with that. Beyond the problems above, I had continually poor customer service (see phone issues above, billing errors, and constantly being pressured to get additional services). Furthermore, the DENTAL service I received was below the standard of care thus requiring me to go to a NEW dentist to get things FIXED.
Who wants to go to another practitioner to fix what one practitioner has done to you? Who wants complications, tooth pain, extra surgery, etc? In addition, in my continuing care under my new/current dentist, his office has informed me that the information I was given by the this dentist was false and outdated. I have multiple additional complaints but I think you get the picture. It's times like this that I wish I was a litigation-happy stereotypical American, this practice needs a ***** slap back to reality, even out of the dental world to spare other innocent people.
