Worst service ever. Missed my first appointment, made a second one and told them to confirm me and remind me day before for the appointment time, also they were suppose to email me the paperwork which they never did. The lady on the phone was the rudest person I have come across.

Best. Office. EVER. Absolutely love everything about this place. Professional. Compassionate. Caring. Go here!

Dr. Zufall's office and staff are fantastic! They are not condescending regarding how you care for your teeth but gently provide recommendations to help you! Dr. Zufall will even call after a procedure to see how you are doing! The dental hygienists are wonderful! The administrative staff is efficient and caring! I wish all medical offices were like this.

I sometimes dread seeing doctors but Dr. Zufall has a geniune caring for people and the best part is he is really funny and makes you laugh! He provides superior dentistry with no pain involved! I cannot even begin to say how wonderful he and his staff care for their patients. If you hate going to see a dentist, Dr. Zufall will change how you feel.

Since the whole family will be two weeks post Covid vaccines, I am ready for Dr. Zufall to work on two crowns that needed attention, as well as a teeth cleaning. The reason I'm writing is to register my amazement at some of the negative posts I've seen on here. Not a single member of my family has ever had a negative experience at Zufall's office.

And we're very picky who we let work on our teeth. Unless he's a regular Jekyll and Hyde, I find it extremely odd that anyone has had any bad experiences at his office. Anyway, that's my two cents. And that's coming from a guy that gives plenty of bad reviews when the service or individual deserves it.

Dr. Zufall is an amazing dentist! I had 2 crowns done by him while I was there in the office. I am amazed by the aesthetics and how accurate my bite is. All within a couple of hours! Thank you Dr. Zufall and staff!

Dr. Zufall has been our family's dentist for 20 years, at least. He is, without question, an honest, ethical businessman and dentist. Two of my "original" (baby) teeth did not have adult teeth behind them to push them out. Obviously, these teeth would not fall out on their own right away, but Dr. Zufall said they were not causing any problems, and he felt we should wait.

He said, "I should make some money on them some day, but they could go with you to your grave." Right then I knew he could be trusted to be honest, and that just makes life easier. We all had a visit in to see Dr. Zufall when he first took over the practice, and we were cautiously optimistic that we got lucky with him. While we were eating dinner one evening, the phone rang.

My husband answered it, made a couple of comments to the caller, came back to the table and told us that was our new dentist, and he was checking on my husband who had a filling replaced that day. That had not happened before! Our family has been through dentists, orthodontists and pedia dentists, for one of our children who needed extensive work done. I have wildly sensitive teeth, and going to the dentist has always been scary and painful. I'm so happy I found Caring Dentistry. Dr. Zufall and his staff are professional, gentle, and take time to make sure the experience is thorough and as gentle as possible. The office is sparkly clean, equipment is state of the art, and every person is kind and friendly. I couldn't recommend them more heartily.

Best experience I've had at a dentist by far! My case was challenging and he fought to save my tooth. I'm so appreciative of both him and his assistant. He explained everything he was doing along the way so I understood what the issues were, and how he was going to try to fix them. I expressed my concerns and was very nervous, but every staff member was excellent and put me at ease. Later that night, Zufall personally called to check on me and I've never had a dentist take the time to do that.

I was recommended by 3 friends to go to Dr. Zufall. I had an urgent issue and called them immediately. For some reason, they were closed on Monday Feb. 3, 2020, although it was not any sort of holiday (as far as I know!) but because he came so highly recommended, I waited an additional day (despite my urgent situation) to try to get in to Zufall. Come to find out Tuesday morning, they are not accepting any Dental Dental patients.

This is the insurance we have through the State of California (as an employee of the state). I asked if I could get on a waiting list if any of the current patients with this insurance left. She said we are phasing it out and will no longer accept any in the future. REALLY disappointed that they cannot find a way to work with such a large component of the Redding-area population. He may be an excellent dentist, but be advised he doesn't accept the insurance of one of the area's main employers.

I am very pleased with this office and their service. My wife is terrified of having any dental work done, however the staff here was understanding and helped put her mind at ease. That is good service.

I have to reiterate, I am so pleased with the cutting edge dentistry that Dr. Z has, and uses at his facility. I have nothing but praise for him and his wonderful staff. First rate dentistry.

This is just a great office in general. Their staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and their office is always clean and relaxed feeling. Zufall is easily one of the best dentists I've met, in both terms of professionalism/friendliness, and willing to work with his patients. I would highly recommend Zufall to anyone in the Redding area looking for a good dental experience.

I love this Dentist! I am very particular with any doctor or dentist as I have had the best of the best from a previous dentist in the Bay Area and have been very spoiled with bedside manner. Doctor Zufall is professional and knowledgeable and has state of the art equipment. He had to replace a crown and it was all same day service. And I got to watch while it was made.

He phoned later in the day to check on me and see how I was feeling. It was that personal touch and extra time he took which really sealed the deal. He always talks to me personally and in a way that I can understand. My only complaint would be the follow up with the staff, this has happened a couple of times where they have not followed up on a question and I had to call back for status.

Professional, knowledgeable, caring, and most importantly, a gentle hand! Extremely good work, and attention to detail by all involved. For anyone nervous about going to the dentist and having work done, this is the office for you! Not only a great dentist, but a great staff, they seem to genuinely care for each patient, and are willing to listen to your questions and concerns. It's a very welcoming atmosphere, which is half the battle of feeling at ease in an office.

I highly recommend Dr. Zufall. After many years of going to the dentist, and having a great dentist retire, and looking for his replacement, I have thankfully found Dr Zufall.

Dr. Ron Zufall had been my dentist since he first opened his office in the mid 1990's. I LOVE HIS WORK! I also love his office staff, many of whom have been there forever. That speaks highly of how good Dr Z is to work for. Most importantly, he is a wonderful, kind, gentle and talented dentist. I had a lot of dental trauma in my life and Dr Z makes me so incredibly comfortable and I feel very safe in his hands. I highly recommend him and his office.

My entire family goes to Dr. Zufall since we moved to Redding. He is one of the most professional and knowledgeable clinicians I've seen. All of his equipment is new and state of the art, and he does same day crowns so there is no need for a second visit. Like many people I get very nervous to go to the dentist, but I felt at home at Dr. Zufall's office.

He took his time during my exam and explained thoroughly all of his findings and recommendations. He pays very close attention to fine details and does exceptional work. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I would definitely not recommend anyone go to this man. I had an implant that was bothering me and went to him to have it checked. He immediately began to remove the entire post from my jaw and was causing me EXTREME pain, to the point I was almost screaming, and he seemed to get angry with me, and kept telling me 'it shouldn't hurt'.

I was in tears trying to bear the pain and he only seemed to get more angry, but it hurt SOOOO bad! And then when he went to replace it, he was literally dropping pieces of the metal components in my throat, 4 times, the last time he practically threw it in my throat and I had to choke it up, I believe he was doing it on purpose. He terrified me. When I left I felt like his staff felt bad for me but they also seemed scared of him.

His anger and awful treatment were absolutely the most frightening, horrible and painful experience. I ended up with a terrible infection and had to seek another doctor immediately. A true nightmare. Our family immediately changed dentists, would never recommend anyone use this dentist.

My family has gone to Dr. Zufall for 20+ years and have had 100% satisfaction! The office is clean and the staff is always nice. I recommend Dr. Zufall's office when ever someone needs a dentist or hygienist. Cindy has been my hygienist for the entire 20+ years!

Dr. Ron Zufall and his staff are the best and most professional group of people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Ron is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and he always amazes me with the quality of his work. I would highly recommend Caring Dentistry to anyone. They are simply the best.

I don't think I have ever had such a through dental exam as the one provided by Dr. Zufall. He explained every procedure to me while completing my exam, along with some helpful education regarding the care of my teeth and gums. I was particularly impressed with the friendly atmosphere his entire office staff offered. I look forward to continuing my dental care with Dr. Zufall and his competent staff.

I was in town and went here for a quick checkup because I've been having some tooth pain. I've been to many dentists, and I've got to say that Dr. Zufall clearly has raised my expectations of what a good dentist is supposed to be like. He'll make your visit very comfortable, I highly recommend him.

I had an issue with a composite repair to a tooth and was told by my regular dentist (I've been with the same office for more that 50 years) that it would be 5 or 6 days before I could be seen. I was worried about seriously damaging my tooth and didn't want to wait. I called Dr. Zufall on the weekend and he answered his cell phone, even though he was out of town.

He had me call the office on Monday and they got me in right away. The repair took less that 20 minutes! Dr. Zufall and his staff made me feel like a person, instead of a number. Obviously, I have switched dentist and I'm quite happy.

After our Dentist retired almost four years ago my wife and I have gone through three other dentists. On a client recommendation we went to Dr. Zufall. As a business owner myself I truly recognize and appreciate a professional who not only possesses all the dental skills and knowledge required but also runs a thoroughly professional dental practice based on his patients' needs.

After a recent procedure Dr. Zufall himself called me to see how I was feeling. I have observed Dr. Zufall demonstrates unique abilities and values to successfully interact with people of all ages and all cultures. He is especially effective communicating with people and easily establishes an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect with them. My business is working with companies and individuals on employee benefits and the number one selling policy is dental insurance, perhaps the most impactful statement I can make is to those who ask and to some who do not my wife and I always recommend Dr. Zufall.

My family and I have gone to Dr. Zufall for over 10 years. We have always been pleased, always had a good experience and excellent dental care. The office is friendly and even more important--very clean! Years ago my daughter had her purse stolen at the mall with her almost new retainer in it. Not only did Dr. Zufall get us a new one quickly, but he didn't even charge us to make it again! I can highly recommend the Caring Dentistry of Dr. Zufall and his staff.

I came here to get my teeth looked at while I was in town. My experience with dentists in the past has been very negative. Dr. Zufall did a great job, he made me feel very comfortable. It was such a relaxing atmosphere, I even fell asleep during the teeth cleaning! The staff also accommodated my complicated schedule, which I appreciated, and they were very friendly and professional.

My Hygenist recommended Dr. Zufall but until I had a horribly abscessed tooth I didn't call him. It was an emergency and they got me right in. He was able to give me some relief and antibiotics. I came back a week later for a total mouth check - up. He told me I had some old fillings falling out and a couple of cracked teeth. He also gave me a few different options on how I wanted to handle my dental care- which I really appreciated.

Before I left I talked with the financial person on my options and how I could save, make payments and the order of the work I needed. They referred me to some dental surgeons and how much each would change and what their financial options were as well. When I made my choice they called his office and set things up. I had to return to Dr. Zufall for the rest of my work.

The staff was incredibly friendly yet very professional. His equipment was state of the art and everything was immaculately clean. Dr. And his assistant were on time, extremely efficient to a T! I've had a lot of dental work in my life and these people are the best. When the work was done Dr. said everything was fine and he'd see me when I needed him again!

He didn't try to tell me I needed other work or guilt me into anything else! When I need him I will go back to Dr. Zufall for sure. I've also recommended him to my friends. He gives excellent dental care and that's not always cheap. But I want it done right, efficiently, and in a timely manner- that's worth it!

My son had a cleaning at this dental office today and was very charmed by how careful and detailed the cleaning was. The dental hygienists were so sweet and nice and even explained how the X-ray device worked for him (he's a curious one). He is usually very afraid to go to dentist's offices, as he is very scared, but the general atmosphere and helpfulness of the employees really changed all of that. This dental practice has changed my sons life, I am so grateful!

The best dental experience ever! Very attentive to making me comfortable before, during and after my appt. I hate the dentist (it's not personal) but after my visit with this office, I will go back for sure. I never had pain as they made sure I was numbed throughout my procedure. They even offered me a warm blanket if I wanted it to help me relax! Amazing people who truly care about your total comfort and well being! Give them a call today.u won't regret it:)

Sorry, but this is absolutely the worst dental experience I've ever had. I've happily gone to dentists my whole life, until going to Dr. Zufall. He caused serious pain and discomfort. When I complained during the procedure, he kept saying that this shouldn't really hurt and he would be done in a minute. 45 mins later of pure agony, I had sweated through my shirt and was hyperventilating from the pain.

He finally agreed to numb me up. My husband also saw this dentist and had a similar painful experience. So much so, that we both were traumatized about going to another dentist for several years. Dr. Zufall has an expensive practice and he turns over too much of his work to his assistants. He is juggling too many patients at once and in too much of a hurry. He's more concerned about herding his patients through like cattle, and doesn't care for their comfort and well-being. I would highly NOT recommend this dentist. Seriously.
