I went to four other dentist offices before I found doctor mark while in excruciating pain from a cavity. Tiffany and the staff here are the absolute best! I don't have dental insurance and I'm a single mom. I came in, explained my situation and I was given answers instead of being dismissed. They all explained everything and was very gentle. Prices were the best I've seen. It's wonderful to find people who actually care about they're job. 10 stars and I didn't even get my service done yet.

If I can put 0 stars I would do it. Be aware of the rude unprofessional staff in the office. Person claiming she is the manager in the office speaking as the streets sales person rude and unprofessional. Also there billing system not what they are telling you in the beginning they will charge you unreasonable fees even though they accepting the insurance in full.

Stay out of the office. The doctor is old school doctor and very knowledgeable, office great and updated but the administrative staff are not professional. And if the doctor hires such an unprofessional staff I can't help it but only making an conclusion that doctor is playing a great deal in the billing too.

I had my first cleaning today with Dr Jack Markusen. This is by far the best experience I have had in a dentist chair! And I'm scared to death in a dentist chair btw! They are so polite and friendly an it's just all around a great environment. Very relaxing. I foresee him being my dentist from here on out.

Recently I've had multiple crown work done along with invisalign. I'm in my late 40s and have neglected my teeth so I was worried about finding a dentist I could trust. From day one Dr. Markusen and his wonderful staff have made me feel so comfortable. Any questions I have are answered thoroughly in a way I can understand and the work is top notch. The office has a feel of going to the dentist in your own living room. I highly recommend Dr. Markusen and his team.

Dr. Markusen and his team are amazing! They are by far the most thorough group I have ever been treated by. I have been going to a dentist for 4 years and recently moved. I was under the impression my teeth were in great shape. On my first visit with Dr. Markusen, he showed me some minor problem spots, that if treated years ago by my other dentist, would not need the level of treatment today.

He explains his plan of care and the tools used, in easy to follow layman's terms. I left his office feeling awesome, with a super clean mouth! My teeth were so shiny I hated to even eat anything! LOL His office is gorgeous, with beautiful artwork on display and a super comfy waiting room. Its extremely neat and clean and professionally maintained. I cant wait to go back for my next cleaning!

First visit today (a consult in preparation for a cleaning next week) left me with mixed feelings. The waiting room is welcoming and pleasant, with a television, a wide range of reading materials, and interesting art on the walls. Both technicians were friendly, efficient, and skilled. Love the atmosphere and vibe I got while there.except for the MAGA cap prominently on display.

Strongly prefer not to mix work and politics. I read lots of reviews for Dr. Markusen and his practice; I made an informed choice to see him. I just wish I didn't know his political leanings.

I'm terrified of dentists, truly terrified. Dr. Markusen is the only dentist I've ever seen who is so calming that he can have a drill in his hand and I almost fall asleep. Seriously. Since I've been seeing him, I no longer have dentist anxiety before having to go for an appointment. He has had to do EXTENSIVE work to my horrible teeth, and I have never been in any pain. I can't say enough good things, he and his staff are fabulous.

Dr. Markusen has been our dentist since moving to Myrtle Beach several years ago. His office staff (the office manager and hygienist) are so professional and friendly. We have had extensive work done without any pain. I consider all three my friends.

I would reccomend DR Markusen to anyone in need of quality dental care. From day one, the staff was warm and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. He has years of experience and helped save me $1,000s of dollars that OTHER Dentists had quoted me on treatments I did not need. He is honest, wise and only wants the best for your overall dental health. I wish I would have found him earlier!

I have been a client of Dr Markusen's for nearly 18 years. My teeth are beautiful, white, and healthy. Dr Markusen has provided me with excellent care with his ever expanding knowledge of dentistry and I am grateful. His staff are cheerful and professional. I would highly recommend this Dentistry practice to anyone!
