After graduating from the UT College of Dentistry, Dr. Hensley served six years in the US Army Dental Corps before entering into private practice. The passion he and his staff have for dentistry and their patients has allowed the practice to thrive in Franklin for almost 25 years. Dr. Hensley attends many continuing education courses to stay current in the latest advances in dentistry.
Preventive dentistry is not just about maintaining the health of your teeth and gums. Your oral health isn't the only thing at stake when considering preventive care. In addition to causing pain and reducing your ability to eat, talk, and smile normally, problems such as tooth decay and gum disease can affect your overall health.

We just started visiting this dentist last summer but are very pleased with everything about the experience - In and out in an hour, no delays; very friendly staff and lovely environment; amazing hygienist; and Dr. Hensley has a very kind and calm bedside manner that shows he really cares about the health of his patients. Dr. Hensley is one of a kind. He is so caring, taking the time that is needed without a rush. He is the most forthright and honest dentist I have ever had. It is truly rare to come across such a professional that does excellent work, but has no hesitancy to recommend a specialist when needed. It is an office built on integrity and trust between patient and doctor. My whole family can not recommend him enough.

I love Dr. Hensley and his whole staff. I always feel so comfortable and at home in his office. Everyone who works there really cares about you. I have seen Dr. Hensley for most of my teenage years and adult life. I moved to NYC a few years ago, and still plan trips back to my hometown around the time I'm due for my cleanings so I can return back to his practice. Thank y'all for taking such good care of me all these years. You keep my Broadway smile so happy : ))

I had a dental emergency on a Friday night. Doctor Hensley responded almost immediately and saw me first thing Saturday morning. I had a badly cracked tooth and he did an amazing job filling it instead of going straight to a crown. It feels better than new! All staff I dealt with was very warm and caring. They cared more about my health and well being than billing. This is rare today.
