So, first off the staff was very friendly and did a good job of taking care of my sons teeth. The reason I rated them this way is because they did a very poor job when it came to their billing department. They preauthorized a procedure and then before I set up an appointment they stopped accepting my insurance coverage (military insurance, by the way, probably something all places should accept).

We did not receive notification that our insurance was no longer being accepted and when we came for our appointments we were presented with a bill of over $1000 for fillings. I find this to be a pretty significant lack of communication on their part. Please work on getting your billing up to the same standard as the rest of your practice.

I have gone here since I was a toddler, once I got my wisdom teeth out they treated me horrible in their office, they did not care about me and kept telling me they had to focus on other patients so I had to be quiet. I went back after 2 1/2 years to get my teeth cleaned and they only checked my teeth over to see what had to be done. Then they told me the earliest they could get me in for a cleaning was 5 months. So I definitely will never be going here again.

I switched to Area Dental Clinic at the beginning of the year, and I am glad I did. Dr. Thomas and is staff are very professional and friendly, I had some issues and Dr. Thomas explained his plan clearly and took care of the problems. After the procedures he would always call and see how I was doing. Appointments are really easy to make. I will recommend Area Dental Clinic to others.

Great service, very friendly and welcoming staff. Teeth feel and look great. So helpful and patient with my scared 3 year old. They gave her time to warm up and comfortable with getting her teeth cleaned. Highly recommend This place is amazing

The respect, dignity & compassion I was shown was something I haven't experienced in many many years. Dr. Thomas is wonderful at explaining & offering options not to mention very gentle & efficient! Relatively new to the practice, she was personable and competent! Your practice's expert training of staff is really impressive and took quite a hold on her. Too bad I needed a crown because that old tooth was shot, but I'm grateful for being seen so quickly. Thank you again!

I've been going to Area Dental for several years now. I can say that in my over 50 years, they are the best of any dental clinic I've experienced. I'm a baby when it comes to mouth pain, probably because of my childhood dentist who was rough and didn't care at all about patient comfort. Dr. Thomas and Joanne, my hygienist, take steps in every procedure, big and small, to minimize pain.

Beyond this, they have the latest dental technology and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Also, they recommend the minimum treatment solution to accomplish the goal instead of padding profits by jumping right to more extensive and expensive procedures. I can't say this about my former dental clinic in Watertown which is the reason I switched to Area Dental to begin with.

I had a re-filling of a filling needed. I was honestly dreading this since this was the first filling I've needed since middle school (in my 30s now). They were so quick and got the re-filling done in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Thomas reached out that same night via phone call, to make sure the filling felt okay and asked me to let them know if it didn't feel right. I was very impressed he personally reached out and have had a great experience with all of their staff!

A portion of one of my eye teeth fell away while I was flossing. Area Dental got me in for an appointment the next morning. What a great crew! They fixed the tooth, and I was on my way in less than 1/2 hour. Thanks everyone for a job well done! I got my smile back.

My experience at Area Dental Clinic on January 19 was outstanding. From the pleasant greeting entering the facility, to the quality of care and by my dental technician Tanya, to the review and consult with Dr. Thomas. I highly recommend Area Dental Clinic!
