Today 3/26/21 I called the dentist w an emergency tooth problem. One of my molars lost a filling and the tooth was borderline hollow. I was not a patient of the office prior to today. They said I could come in right now so I did. The staff was incredibly professional and very warm. I was seen by the dental hygienist and then the doctor came in. Very nice, professional and was excellent. She prepped my tooth for a temp crown. Honestly, I barely felt a thing. Long story cut short. I highly recommend the office.

I can not speak highly enough about this practice. Karen who runs the front could not possibly be nicer. Michelle did a serious cleaning for me and was so gentle it made this baby smile. Dr Shiner simply kicks butt. No BS. Tells you her thoughts and makes simple recommendations. Love love love this place.

I've had the most pleasant experience at this office. I started Invisalign treatment seven weeks ago and it's going fantastic, today I had my teeth cleaned by Monique and I have never almost fallen asleep in a chair before I couldn't believe how much pain I was experiencing with my prior dentist office, I am looking forward to a long Relationship with this practice.

As a long existing patient, I can genuinely say that I always leave satisfied. The staff is friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable. Fatiha is one of the best hygienist I've ever had. I absolutely recommend this place.

So, I am reviewing this dental office specifically for Dr. Oren as well as Karen and the front desk folks, as I cannot speak to any of the other doctors/dentists in this office who perhaps have been reviewed by others here on yelp either negatively or positively. I just moved to Stamford from New York City, was in immediate need of a dental appointment as a chipped off a large piece of a temporary crown, and was worked in for an appointment right away.

I was scheduled with Dr. Paek, but was put with Dr. Oren which I am incredibly grateful for, as he is quite probably the most courteous, conscientious, knowledgeable and thorough dentist I've had the pleasure of seeing. His bedside manner, as it were, is simply incredible, and I've never felt more care given to my specific circumstances or needs.

All in all, dental work isn't always cheap, and I knew going in that my insurance certainly wouldn't cover everything. But that's life, and anyone talking about how this place sells you things seems to be off base and emotional. I highly recommend Pearl Dental, Dr. Oren, and Karen (or should I say, "Stephanie".;):) is a hoot too.

PEARL DENTAL FRACTURED MY TOOTH DURNING A SIMPLE FILLING AND NOW I MAY NEED A ROOT CANAL AND CROWN $$$$$. Dr. Andrew Paek did such a RECKLESS job filling my tooth, I had to go back the very next day and have it corrected. A week later the pain is more severe and uncomfortable than it's been all week; something is DEFINITELY NOT right. Today, mid work day, I made an EMERGENCY appointment for an Endodontic Dentist in Mt. Kisco because I could no longer withstand the pain they left me in.

This was an an additional $130 that I don't have covered by insurance because they cleared me out for the year. A fantastic specialist from the practice I visited in New York determined that I had a fracture in the molar in question. He said this happens with drilling into the tooth - so it's clear to me this was probably done on on Friday by Dr. Andrew Paek.

When he showed me the fracture on the X-ray it was obvious to even my untrained eye. I had no pain or discomfort prior to this filling and I certainly DID NOT have a fracture in my teeth (because now I know what THAT feels like). Additionally, IF I had a fracture prior on that tooth, WHY WOULD A DENTIST DRILL INTO A FRACTURED TOOTH? l had an X-ray last Friday at Pearl Dental prior to Dr. Paek and I had an X-ray again on Monday at Pearl Dental by Dr. Kaveeta and no one said anything about the very obvious fracture in my tooth. Presumably because it was caused by them. That's 2 X-rays on that tooth in 4 days where Pearl Dental neglected to tell me about a fracture anywhere.

Now I have a fractured tooth on my hands and I'm in significant pain going on one week. The specialist said this could go one of two ways for me. The pain could ease and I'll need work done 20 years from now OR the pain will get significantly worse and he'll need to do a root canal and a crown. If things go really south I'll need an extraction done because I'll have lost the tooth completely.

The following is an email sent to Karen, the receptionist regarding my shockingly disappointing experience at Pearl Dental in STAMFORD, CT: Thank you for sending my dental x-rays. I sincerely appreciated your warm welcome and genuine care during my visit, as it was my first and provided with my husband's glowing review from his previous visits at your office and with Dr. Moriarty. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed at Dr Avi's evident lack of professionalism and inability to follow up with his patients, especially someone who experiences pain after a dental procedure as I have.

As you know, I called twice - the first time I spoke to Jennifer, hours after my visit, who reassured me she will have Dr. Avi to call me back; and the second time, I called again later that evening and spoke with you and then was transferred to Jennifer who again reassured me that the Dr would call me back before the office closes at 7pm. I did not receive a call from your office and or the Doctor.

On the sixth day, my husband called on my behalf and spoke with Dr. Kaveeta. A part of me wished I had waited to be seen by Dr Moriarty on another day, who was highly recommended to me by my husband. Looking back now I am certain I would have had a completely opposite experience under her expertise and genuine care for her patients during and after the visit. However, my post-visit experience with Dr. Avi shined a light on the lack of genuine post-op care and appropriate follow-up protocols that some doctors in your office may display, and neither I nor my husband want to take any chance on being seen by another Dr. such as Dr. Avi.

I hope Dr Avi gets further training on patient care, during and after their visits. In addition, my teeth cleaning experience was uncomfortable and at times painful with your hygienist Monie (spelling?). I have high pain tolerance and have never felt nervous and little to no pain/discomfort during previous dental check-ups and cleaning visits. But I found her to be very rough when she was cleaning my teeth, which left a cut in my gum that is still healing. Also, when flossing my teeth, I felt as if she was trying to yank my teeth out instead because she was being so rough and impatiently rushing to finish. Lastly, I spoke with both the hygienist and Dr Avi about teeth whitening procedures and costs and was told Jennifer was going to provide me with the information, and again I never receive any further information.

Without doubt, this was the most disappointing and painful dental visit I have ever had, and for that I will not be recommending your dental office to our families and friends. Sometimes it takes only one person to ruin an office's reputations, and in this case, it was a combination of mis-haps and ultimately the Dr's lack of care for follow-ups with patients.

I wish you well, and I hope your office manager/staff knows that YOU make a world of a difference by your warm welcome. The rest, however, is up to the professionalism of the other staff and Doctors in your office.

I started coming to Pearl Dental after a bad experience at a different dentist's office. I saw Dr. Chaudry at my consultation appointment and she was able to fix what I needed right on the spot. I wasn't expecting that. She doesn't rush you through appointments either. She always takes her time and explains everything and makes sure you understand.

And most importantly.she's doesn't hurt! Other staff members are great too. Ari did my teeth whitening procedure that turned out amazing. She also assists Dr. Chaudry chairside. Jenn and Karen in the front office area are extremely helpful. They are always pleasant, polite, and give a nice greeting. Jenn is always able to get me an appointment that works with my schedule. I am very happy that I found Pearl Dental in Stamford and I will continue to go there for dental treatment.

Courteous, friendly and professional. Procedure prices appear to be in line or even a bit lower than the competition. Facility is clean, bright and nicely furnished. Aside from this I have nothing to recommend. Seriously though, this is the benchmark by which businesses should be judged. They will definitely have my business. Rob B

I made an appointment and provided my insurance information. The day of my appointment I received a call stating that my insurance number was wrong. I then provided the correct number and was told that I'd receive a call back. However 1 hour before my appointment I had not gotten a call back so I decided to call. They stated my insurance plan was not a good one ( never have I ever experienced issues before ) and that I'd have a copay.

Never have I ever had a copay. She informed me since I was new, instead of paying around $300, I'd pay $95. I kindly declined. She sounded passive aggressive on the phone. It was a little suspicious. I then called my insurance to explore what was told to me and nothing was accurate that she said.

Very professional and kind people running this office. The services I have received so far have been outstanding and unexpected. It's rare to find a team of people that run like a well oiled machine. I was referred to another office by co-worker who all seem to go to this one place. I had to find another local place because they weren't as great as everyone seemed to think. BTW, every referral got a $25 discount on services. Now I know why everyone was recommending them! I think Pearl offers a better referral bonus but they don't need to use it!

Amazing customer service. Within my first visit was given a plan to restore my teeth. Each person that has either worked on my teeth, assisted or helped walked me through payment options has been absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend Pearl Dental!

Pearl Dental has been my dental provider for 8 years. I have used Pearl Dental for regular cleanings and exams, for cavity filings, x-rays, Invisalign, chipped tooth repair, and TMJ management/night mouth guard. My teeth and gums are clean and healthy and my smile is beautiful, thanks to the consistent professional care that I've gotten from Pearl Dental.

In addition to the excellent dentistry care I can trust here, all of the staff is friendly, relatable, and knowledgeable. I have referred several friends to Pearl Dental in Stamford, and they have all been pleased with the dental care they've gotten at Pearl.

I hated the dentist growing up and at 28 finally decided to go back after 4 years, and the Pearl dental staff was amazing and accommodating. They are so friendly and helpful, and always go out of their way to help with appointments, finances and even got me started with invisalign! The staff knows you by name, and there's almost never a wait time. The staff is on another level, most offices would not provide this level of customer support.

Well-run group; very organized staff; efficient turnover. Staff were very polite, professional and attentive.

I love my dentist and the front desk staff. They are kind, knowledgeable, and they really care about my teeth. I like the plan they have for people who don't have dental insurance. You pay a small fee to on the plan and once you're on, your cleanings are $59 and you get discounts on everything else you might need done. I get my teeth cleaned every 2 months because I hate flossing. They give me a thorough cleaning and tell me to floss. I love these people and highly recommend them. -Nat

I am having the most FANTASTIC experience at Pearl dental. I have begun my Invisalign treatment about five months ago. Dr. Chaudari and her team are exceptional. Dr. Chaudari is so personable, gives me all her attention and most importantly knows what she's doing! My teeth are looking wonderful and can not wait to see the results! Each and every member of the staff from Dr. Crespo and all who work with him are extremely professional. At first, I was a bit hesitant, however much of the dental work has been completed and I have no hesitancy whatsoever! They were personable, offered detailed information of what to expect and answered any questions or concerns I had. I was made to feel 100% comfortable during the work in my mouth, the dentists "lounge?" chair etc.

To add to my physical comfort, a cushy pillow was placed behind my head supporting my neck and soothing music of my choice. They are competitively priced and their care for my dental health was/is extraordinary. I recommend Pearle Dental for all dental procedures. As soon as I retrieve all names, I will praise their excellent work as well. Thank you Pearle Dental!
